When you think Bose, probably the first association you make is quality sound. They've had a long and storied history providing unique products with excellent audio. And that was my main expectation upon first trying these - and they do have good sound. I spent some time going through my playlists specifically picking out different genres to try to find a weak point. Then it dawned on me - I had actually forgotten i was wearing earbuds! I'm usually always fussing with these things, adjusting the fit to the ear, repositioning the bud - they never seem to stay in place. Not so with these - they're absolutely the most comfortable headsets i've ever encountered. The design is such that the bud sits loosely in the ear (open) but remains firmly in place.
As an open design, these do admit ambient sound - and as such, do have their place - we do want to hear that car coming down the road, no? I'm a vinyl audiophile guy - so if i want to hear every nuance of the music, this is not the piece of gear i'm looking for. But if i'm outside in the environment, i want something that sounds good, but also allows me to be aware of my surroundings while not having to constantly play & adjust with it to feel comfortable. (and not have to worry about a few raindrops getting into my expensive electronics)
You might want to read some other reviews if you're concerned about detailed audio comparisons or battery life, I don't use it but for a couple of hours at a time, and i didn't experience any audio breakup or distortions. For me, it's about the feel of it, and in my book, this headset represents a new high water mark in terms of wearability & comfort.

A product that works - first time!

OMG! - do you know how many of these things i've tried? No-names, Netgear, Tenda, both stand-alone and AC line extenders. Hours of frustration, poor directions, no web help - and then once you get it to finally work, a marginal improvement. So, my expectations were low for any difference with this product.
I'm in a two story home, the router hookup is on the lower level in one corner of the house. Nothing I used could increase strength to the far corner of the house (about 60 foot) beyond one or two bars.
I setup the unit midway, and used the WPS button to connect. Got the green light, good to go. If you are setting up both the 2.4 and 5 GH bands, you need to go through the WPS procedure twice as they are really separate devices (mac addresses). I then checked the laptop at the far end, and voila, 4 bars - success.
However, it got better. While i had placed the unit in what i thought would be the optimal location, i used the spot finder app, and it suggested a move to an opposite wall, and i was soon working with a full 5 bars.
Once you get setup, you can log into the unit, there are check boxes that allow you to change the extender's broadcast name (it's initially your router's name followed by _ext, which makes it a seamless connection.
While the cost of this unit is in the upper range compared against similar products, the Linksys name, ease of setup, and spot finder app justify the price difference.
It's a pleasure to be able to watch Netflix & Amazon video without breakup & endless buffering.

This is a fully loaded, top of the line, feature packed router - the MU-MIMO (multi-user multiple input multiple output) is at the top of the list, and should future proof your home office/entertainment purposes for some time to come. While you may not have MU-MIMO capable devices in your home right now, they will be coming to you soon. This allows individual continuous streams to be delivered to separate devices simultaneously, taking full advantage of your internet connection.
The ideal situation for using this router would be for a multi-user home that is ready to "cut the cable", i.e. dumping their cable provider in favor of using Netflix, Hulu, HBO & Showtime GO, etc. They would then be able to maximize the throughput to each individual device without buffering, stuttering, etc.
There are eight antennas built into the unit, and each can be individually pointed to maximize signal strength to any particular device. Four of these are on the 2.4 GH band, the other 4 on the 5 GH band.
The initial setup was pain free, as I have experienced with other Linksys products. I have used my fair share of lower priced products, and had to invest hours of time dealing with incomplete and badly translated manuals, non-existent websites and tech support, and incomprehensible directions. I've always found Linksys to be at the top of the chain in this regard, and this router is no different. Connect this to your current modem, it will auto-detect and assign itself a new IP address. From there, it's as deep as you want to go. I can't imagine anyone other than a serious professional that could use all the features available. Great web interface with a network map to visualize, rename & observe signal strength and quality on each device. A smartphone app (Smart WiFi) that allows you to prioritize devices, cut them off (it's bedtime, kiddies - lol), or create a guest network to protect from prying eyes (hey neighbor, can i borrow your wi-fi!)
Make no mistake, this is one serious piece of equipment. And it's expensive for sure. But for those willing to spend the bucks, it's top performance and insurance for the future, even at a time when technology seems to leapfrog your current equipment every 6 months.

Value for the money

It's inevitable that any new tablet that comes out is going to be compared to the gold standard, the IPad. We have 2 of them at home, one my wife's, the other my daughter, so i was able to look & play with them side by side. I won't make this a lengthy blow by blow comparison, there are enough reviews out there on the web. I'll simply point out what I see as the most obvious differences, and what you're giving up by not going high end.
The initial setup was painless, started & hooked up to wifi with no issue. Same for Netflix and HBO go. As we started checking it out, it became obvious this is no ipad clone. Is it as fast as an ipad? No. It's not exactly slow, but definitely not as snappy. Is the camera(s) as good? No - especially in low light conditions. Is the sound as good? No - without headphones or an earpiece, the built in speakers can only be described as tinny.
While i'm not exactly the best at closing out open apps to free memory, it did seem to me to be overly annoying at warning of a low memory condition fairly frequently. It got a bit better when i plugged in a 32MB mini sd card.
One other problem i saw was time to charge - i had it plugged in while playing with it, but the charger wasn't able to keep up with the usage - it was slowly draining during use. Then, while idle, took a long time to charge - I plugged it in at 7:30 this morning with a 5% charge, it's now 8 hours later, and it's still telling me it wants another two hours to full.
Now this may seem like a negative review, and you might wonder why i still give it 4 stars. The answer is while it's certainly not an ipad clone, it's a fraction of the cost. I'm not out $600 if it gets dropped or stolen. I don't feel bad about taking it out with me and having to maintain a death grip on it. And it does a lot of things that an ipod will do, maybe not as well, but at a significantly lower price point. This makes for a good 2nd tablet, either as i said for utility use, or for a younger child - or, if a $500+ purchase is just not in your budget. There's no doubt that it's a great piece of technology at this price point.

Terrific value for the price

Was initially going to get an all-in-one, but glad i didn't. The price of a CPU + this monitor was far less than getting a comparable all-in-one.
The picture is great, the touch is great, and the value for the quality is outstanding. And it looks good too!

Gets the job done

Have had the unit a few months now, and has performed flawlessly. At first i had one of those cheap flex pipes attached to the exhaust, when i changed over to one of the semi-rigid pipes, the performance of the unit greatly improved. Suggest spending a few bucks on the better piece.

Ideal for short counter height

Got this since a tiled mud floor had been installed right up to the old dishwasher, hence, a standard height dishwasher would not be able to fit. After some intensive searching, this was the only choice without getting into the more expensive European Models.
It does the job well, and is quiet, I only have 2 issues related to the control operation. First, it does not remember previous setting, so you need to tab through the various cycles (china, etc) to get to normal wash. The other is when it's finished, it doesn't just give one beep - it keeps reminding you till you have to get up to shut it up! Haven't found a way to turn off the beep. Minor inconvenience, but should be programmable.

The picture is outstanding - great color, brightness, and depth, even in 2D the picture jumps out at you.
However, the audio is fair at best. Pretty much requires you to add a soundbar or home audio system. I realize this is the case with most thin screen tv's, but i still think they could have did a better job.
The addition of a backlit remote would also be nice.
My last caveat - does not have built in support for Amazon streaming.

Instead, these tiny, wireless earbuds use pre-loaded, soothing sounds to cover up unwanted noises, so you can get to sleep ~ and stay asleep. Plus, unlike traditional earplugs, they~re super comfortable and made to stay in place all night long, even if you sleep on your side. 1. Choose your sound, 2. Set an alarm, 3. Fall asleep without unwanted noise.
Can you listen to music or not? One answer says only the sounds from the app and another answer says yes you can listen to music. I want to listen to music from Youtube? Can I do this?
No - there is no input from anything other than the Bose App it comes with. Maybe on a future update, for now all you get is the built in soundscapes.

Can you use these at work to drown out a loud talkative coworker?
No - these don't have noise cancellation built in - I could clearly hear a tv on medium volume while i wore these. Get true noise cancelling headphones instead.

How load is it? I've used an Oreck XL upright and a Eureka Mighty Mite and would hope it's no louder as those. I prefer bagged vacuums but want to try the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser because of its claims of not getting hair tangled on the roller.
I don't own the units you mentioned, I have a Miele canister, and it's no louder than that. I was surprised at it, as it does have great suction, and would have thought it should've been louder for the power it has. So far happy with the unit.
