NightHawk D7000 Purchase/Installation/Performance

I upgraded to the Netgear Nighthawk D7000 DSL ADSL/VDSL modem to get better range and streaming ability.
First of all the purchase at the local Bestbuy store was a great experience as they price matched Amazon at a lower price.
Secondly the modem install was pretty straight forward and painless, all I had to do was enter my user name and password from Century Link and within a few minutes I was up and running. I had some questions which Netgear responded promptly.
Lastly I installed the modem a month ago and have had no disconnects or drops. The speed is much better than my old Xycel C1100Z Century Link modem. The video streaming
seems to be smoother with minimal buffering.
Overall the Night Hawk D7000 DSL ADSL/VDSL Modem is a very good
product/value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to move to AC Wireless.

Does this support ADSL2+?
Netgear says it is backwards compatible.
