Best offer as long as your device is alive!
on July 4, 2009

I have this product for since April 2009 (as soon as Garming released map update 2010) and had no problem downloading and installing. It took only 4+ hrs on my cable interent (thanks comcast) and installation was so easy.
I have no idea why people giving low rating and blaming garmin for their slow internet connection.
This is a must to go product if you own a garmin device. Instead of shredding $70 every year, this is a one time fee and you can update maps as long as your device is in good condition. My Street Pilot is older than 4 years and so far there is no problem with it. I have a nuvi 880 that is almost a year old and hope that will do the best as my street pilot doing.
What's great about it: Life long update, no more annual rip off!
What's not so great: People giving bad reviews for their own slow internet connection :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: Nice color cordless phone.
Cons/Remarks: Why would some spent nearly hundred dollars or more for a just fully functional colored cordless phone? I am pretty sure that people would buy this phone to use with yahoo messenger.
This phone does not support yahoo voice calls. A phone to browse yahoo services and text chat with friends? Why cant someone use their existing cell phone for that purpose?
In my case, none of my friends could see me online. I got a messgae "no buddies online" uh? Well the reason for that is this phone does not connect to yahoo network directly... it uses vtech's proxy services and if the proxy network fails for any reason you have no yahoo messenger functions!
Poor tech support from vtech. After holding the line nearly an hour the representative informed me that someone would call me back. What???
I would never recommend this phone to anybody. It is sad that I was very much excited to get this phone after waiting for more than a year... but totally dissappointed :(
What's great about it: Nice cordless phone
What's not so great: Restricted Yahoo Messenger Functions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great home laser printer
By Anonymous
Great product for home and business use. Previous comments mention it makes a noise. I did not have this experience. Great buy!
Re: question about photo printing
October 8, 2015
No, this is not recommended for photo printing. This is ideal for quality document printing only! Though, you may use glossy laser paper for sort of magazine quality printing...

3+ years, still running like a Pro
By Jacobs from CA
I bought this printer 3+ years ago from HP directly. Changed Black toner with 2X size almost an year ago. Replaced all three color toners recently. I set this up for home/office use. Everyone in the family happy with this printer. Kids can print directly from their PC/MAC/Tablets/Phones. No need to run around for printing homework or other projects looking for help.
This printer at its current price is a no brainer deal. Far better than spending money on desk jet ink cartridges. This will long last for regular printing / project works.
Hello Laura78
November 17, 2015
I printed a total of 3200+ all together, which includes 1100+ color pages. I changed my OEM black cartridge more than a year go and at that time I had almost 1700 pages done. New 2X black cartridge give you more than 2100 monochrome pages. All depends on your usage. Since my son got into HS our usage has increased. I believe with a typical daily usage your OEM cartridges might last about 1500 pages easy. About the price comment on my original review: the day I reviewed it was on sale and was dirt cheap. Right now it is on its regular price, still cheaper than what I paid. Hope that helps.

No issues with product but BB Service has issues
By AVSamsung
No issues with product but BB Service has issues, so I am going to return it and purchase it somewhere else. They will not adjust the price on phone and want me to come to the store for Price Match for their own weekly sale. The manager told me that it is worth $50+ to make the trip to Best Buy. What an argument to a customer who bought a $400 product. Wish they had a little more customer savvy team!!
really?
December 14, 2015
You can go back to the store to return it, but can't go to the store to adjust price? Sorry, could not understand your logic. First they need to cancel the transaction and re-run the purchase at the register to adjust the price. So there is no way they can do it over the phone. I am sure store manager explained this to you already.

Not so great performing laptop-could be way better
By Jacobs from CA
I would honestly rate this product with 3 stars. However, I am sure with a bit hardware tweak, this can work great. All you need is a cloning software and one SSD, you can turn this sloth in to a beast.
Speed and Processor:
A $900 PC laptop should at least have a 64GB startup SSD. Comes with 12GB Ram and a 5400rpm mechanical drive. This machine comes with a 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7500U Mobile processor. My 3 year old laptop with i5 processor runs way faster than this laptop with newest i7 quad core machine.
Video:
Comes with integrated GeForce 940MX graphics card, this is supposed to be a good video processor. LED display has backlight bleeding problem.
HDD: 5400rpm mechanical drive - This drive alone kills this machines performance.
RAM: 12GB - enough memory power - completely useless with 5400rpm HDD.
- Bulky
- Missing ethernet port.
- Slowest HDD
I would not recommend this laptop at this price range.
Replaced 5400rpm (lame) with 500GB SSD
November 17, 2016
I have replaced OEM HDD with 500GB SSD and it made a huge difference in the performance of the system. I strongly believe Acer should have used at least a bootup SSD in the empty M2 slot available in the computer. You can add additional m2 SSD if you provide some padding and right size screws (most m2 SSDs comes with screw).
Please do not attempt to replace the stock HDD by yourself, as it may void the system warranty. I am an experienced technician with right knowledge and tools. Top of that the product was provided by Acer in exchange of an honest review.
If you have laptop repair experience and willing to take the risk to void system warranty, you can easily replace stock HDD with SSD of your choice. Just remove 12 screws from the back of the case to access HDD. Carefully remove stock HDD (sole lame part of this laptop) and replace with SSD. Make sure you create a system restore disk using a 16GB USB Drive using the stock HDD and OS. You can restore system from the USB to newly installed SSD and this system will work like a monster truck!

Is this Honeywell, Model: RTH9585WF compatible with ‘nest’ software product standards?

Stay away from RTH9585WF. Comparing nest software with Honeywell software should be a crime lol. It is just a digital thermostat with wifi connectivity with no product support.

does this printer have automatic 2 sided printing

does the laserjet 400 pro print on both sides automatically or only manually? cant find automatic double sided print settings
It is automatic, it depends on OS where you can find exactly how to enable auto duplex printing from print dialog box.

Enjoy wireless Internet access throughout your home with this Asus Extreme RT-AC87R router that features 802.11ac AiRadar universal beamforming technology and 4 detachable dual-band antennas to provide reliable coverage up to 5,000 sq. ft.

when being used as a media server will the second AC-2400 still act as a range extender?

Hello,

I'm contemplating getting a second one to use as a media server to consolodate the music and digital movies i've bought over the years so i can watch them throughout the house. But there are some points on one side of the house where the signal gets weak and unreliable weather i'm using the 2.4 or the 5ghz frequency so i was wondering if having the 2nd AC-2400 in media server mode would still allow it to act as a range extender or if it would have to remain close to to first router to act as the media server.
RT-AC87R can be configured in Media Bridge mode. The Media Bridge mode provides the fastest 802.11ac Wi-Fi connection for multiple media devices simultaneously. To set up the Media Bridge mode, you need two RT-AC87R: one configured as the Media station and the other as a router.Configure one RT-AC87R as a router and another RT-AC87R as an 802.11ac Media Bridge to provide a simultaneous 802.11ac Wi-Fi connection for your media devices such as computer, Smart TV, game console, DVR, or media player via Ethernet cable.Change to Media Bridge mode to provide a simultaneous 802.11ac Wi-Fi connection for your media devices.
In Media Bridge mode, only wireless devices connect to the P-AP. Client devices need to be connected to the Media Bridge with a network cable.
In Media Bridge mode, the DHCP-assigned IP address changes. Install and use the Device Discovery Utility to get the wireless router's new IP address.
