Very useful and functional remote. I compared it with other third party remotes before buying, but decided that the official one was worth spending another few dollars on. The backlit buttons when picking it up is a nice touch, and it worked with my Xbox and TV out of the box. The only thing I'm not too keen on is that the remote uses IR instead of WiFi Direct like the Xbox controllers. I'm sure that's to keep battery life long, but I would prefer to not worry about aiming it at the Xbox/TV every time. Still, a great no-hassle remote and does what it needs to.

I've been a fan of Philips Norelco products since my first beard trimmer that lasted several years, trimming my beard and hair with it. This model is even better, having a lithium-ion battery for up to an hour of use and less time charging. I find it nice not having to worry about charging it after every use, since it will last for several trims. It's also shower proof, not that I would really see a need to use it that way, but at least it won't be ruined by a little water.
The trimmer feels solid and looks well made, not one of the cheap models you see on an end cap in the store. It also comes with a nice leather-ish carrying bag to put everything in. Each of the comb attachments are fully adjustable and are labeled for body, beard, or hair use, which is very convenient if you use it for all three areas. The nose trimmer and shaver/finishing trimmer attachments are also included, along with a smaller trim attachment.
I've had other brands of trimmers that didn't last long, but were also very inexpensive, so it does depend how much you want to spend. However, this trimmer gives me the impression that it will be quite reliable and perform well.

This tablet is obviously meant for a strictly budget-minded consumer, but is also one of the cheapest options in the full-size Android tablet category. As expected, the specs are somewhat mediocre and are very similar to a flagship tablet of 2-3 years ago. However, if your needs are fairly basic and include primarily browsing, email, and media playback, it should do fine.
The screen resolution is servicable, not being full HD as most screens of this size are now (not to mention phones). The cameras also fall into this category, albeit not a main concern to most people probably. With 1 GB of RAM, it has just enough to handle light multitasking, as well as casual gaming. However, the battery life seems to be very adequate, due to the modest processor and resolution.
One minor concern I would have is getting future updates, as is always the case for non-Nexus devices. If that aspect doesn't bother you though, and you just want something to use casually that won't be much of an investment, I would consider the Acer. The reason I give this as high of a rating as I do is just because of the value - I wouldn't compare this to a Samsung Galaxy S or Pro tablet, but in it's own right it is a solid value proposition.

Best option for range extender

First of all, I don't have too much experience with range extenders, so I'll just be describing this one in particular. As far as the setup goes, it was very simple and quick. I pressed the WPS button and my router, then on the RE7000, and about a minute later they were connected on the 2.4 GHz band. You simply repeat the procedure to connect it to the 5 GHz band. Of course there's also the option to connect it using a browser, which is also very simple and straightforward.
In regards to performance, having the RE7000 within short range of the router yielded excellent speeds for both bands - the upload and download speeds were identical to that of my router. The range of the extender's broadcasting was also impressive, and should have no problem filling a large room or most of a floor of an average home. Having the RE7000 further from the router, at about 25% of the router's signal strength, and through multiple walls, the 2.4 GHz performance fell to about half of the full bandwidth, while the 5 GHz speeds were much lower - sometimes as little as 5% of the router's full bandwidth, up to about 20%, which is probably to be expected on the 5 GHz band. However, if the extender is just one floor below or above the router, with not many obstacles, there probably won't be as much of a performance decrease.
The only other issue, which is to be expected, is that at longer range from the router, the extender sometimes had issues maintaining a connection. With it having at least 25-30% signal from the router, it didn't seem to have many connection issue though. I like the ability to use it as an access point via the built-in Gigabit ethernet port, which would eliminate the router strength factor. The port can, of course, also be used to wire a device, such as a desktop, to your network if it doesn't have wireless capability. Overall, I was pleased with the performance and reliability, and it complemented my AC1900 router well. This is likely the best range extender available right now, especially for those that have an AC router and need more range in a certain area of the home.

Bought as a casual gaming mouse primarily for FPS's, works great. Price is not bad for all the features. I like the full color options to match the rest of my rig. The profile switching button comes in handy to switch between normal computing and gaming mode. Back and forward buttons are well placed also, and rubber side grips are welcomed.

Picked this up right after the Google announcement in my local store and have been loving it. I've been wanting an easy way to stream content from my phone or tablet and this is perfect. Fairly easy to set up, easy to control with any device - seamless operation from device to tv and back.. For the price, there is no better alternative. Not compatible with Windows Phone, as expected, and probably never will be - any other platform is fine.

I bought this cable recently and it has worked great so far. This is about the cheapest HDMI cable you can find through retail, and because HDMI technology is digital, it will have the same performance as a much more expensive cable. The construction doesn't seem to be quite as high of a quality as you would expect from a cable several times more expensive, but I doubt there will be any problems and for the price, it's almost disposable. I have been using it for my Blu-ray player and can't complain.

I use it in...:Small home
I have been using this router for 2 years now and have almost never had to reset or perform power cycle. Compared to other routers I have read about and heard about from friends, this one is truly outstanding in reliability. The range is quite decent, despite only needing it for apartments and a small home; I have always had very good or excellent signal in any part of the home. The throughput is also quite good, never seeming to slow down or much less lose connection. I have heard from friends and family about needing to constantly cycle power on their routers due to losing connection on their devices; not the case here. Streaming Netflix on two devices while browsing and downloading on two more simultaneously worked just fine.I would recommend this router to anyone who needs a simple and reliable single-band router.
