This is a review for the Epson FastFoto 640 that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. After having the Epson scanner setup for a couple of weeks I am blown away by how fast it is. When it calls itself Fasfoto it is not joking. The scanner goes through stacks of pictures faster then you can load them. I used it to process a batch of old photos that I have been meaning to scan for my mom. The group of old family photos was done before I knew it, and with image processing options like red eye removal done during the scanning I know I saved myself a few hours over my old flatbed multi-function printer scanner. This scanner also scans documents and receipts just as quickly and easily as photos. The auto feeder handled a good sized stack of paperwork and fed thin receipts through individually without jamming or grabbing multiple pages. I am really glad I was able to test this product and will continue using it for all my scanning needs for the foreseeable future.
