The Good far outweights the Bad.

Reason's why I give it 4 stars instead of 1-3....
-Very addicting game with so much to do. The world is pretty big and filled with all types of weird creatures. When you get tired of doing mission's you can just build a settlement to defend against outsiders.
That feels like a whole new game itself.
-Power Armor and weapons. At first you might think, "What the heck? Why am I using a wooden gun?" But don't worry. As the game goes on you'll find a huge variety of awesome weapons. Regular armor, power armor and guns can be customized. You can turn the cheap wooden gun into something deadly and nice to look at.
Why I give it 4 stars instead of 5....
- Graphics. I'm playing on a PS4 and it feels like a PS3 game. This is not that big a deal for me, but it might be for some. GTA5 for PS3 has very similar/better graphics. The game glitches a lot too. Far more than any PS4 game should. Plus, why the loading screen when entering buildings? It's like the first Resident Evil for PS1.
- The game doesn't explain stuff well. I'm constantly going on Youtube or Google to try and figure out how to do things or how certain things work. They sometimes show a pop up in the top left corner, but most of the time I'm too busy fighting off an enemy or involved in something else to even read it. It doesn't come back either, so if you miss it, then you are **** out of luck.
Overall the game is great and well worth it. It's definitely one of the most addicting games I ever played. If you are a role playing game fan, then I'd say this is the game for you. Just don't expect to play multiplayer or co-op because it's only one player.

Read the reviews people. The seams of the case are poorly made and WILL tear apart after a few weeks. You've been warned. Do not waste your money. I cannot believe that a product like this still being sold.

Fun game with unbelievable audio and graphics.

One word. WOW! That is what I said when I loaded MLB the Show. I stopped buying baseball games in 2009 and kept mostly to FPS and Madden games, but I figured three years was long enough and it was time to see how much of an improvement The Show made. First, let me say that I usually don't give 5 stars for a video game review because I think all video games are overpriced no matter how good they are so I'm usually critical when it comes to video game reviews. Now about the game.
GRAPHICS:
The graphics are unreal! Everything about the way it looks makes you feel like you are watching baseball on TV. Every little detail from the uniforms and stadiums, to the arm and facial hair on the players themselves. It all makes for a beautiful looking game.
AUDIO:
The audio and croud noises are excellent and the Sounds of the Game is a nice feature that has gotten a lot better and more indepth since 09. You can not only add walkup and reliever music, but you can add music/sounds for pretty much everything. End/Middle of innings, strikeouts, walks etc. Being a former Yankees season ticket holder I know pretty much every sounds that comes from Yankee stadium. Adding these sounds has made me feel like I'm in the actually stadium or watching it on TV. The only thing lacking from the audio is the dull broadcasting.
GAMEPLAY:
I find this game to be very difficult especially the hitting. The one thing I noticed in this years The Show is the ability to read the spin on the ball. With alot of practice you should be able to tell the difference between a sinker and a fastball. What I don't like about the gameplay is there seems to be quite a bit of odd plays in each game like the ball bouncing off the plate or routine ground balls being thrown Chuck Knoblauch style over the first basemens head. I'm sure The Show will fix this with a patch.
Overall this game is a must have for any baseball fan. I wish games like Madden can take a page out of The Show's book.
Remember I'm basing my opinion on the fact that I haven't bought The Show since 09 and a lot has changed since then. For owners of The Show 10 or 11 their view of this year's game could be a little different. If you decide to buy the game good luck, enjoy, and PLAY BALL!
What's great about it: Sounds of the Game, Graphics and very challenging
What's not so great: The Commentary

Needs Patch ASAP!

OFFLINE FRANCHISE:
I like the idea of having a 75 man roster for preseason games. It's what I have always wanted and it was the selling point for me to buy this years Madden. However, it is broke. When playing preseason games, the CPU will automatically make substitutions at the end of the 1st and 2nd quarter. While this is not a bad idea for preseason games, it needs to be fixed. First off, you'll notice your WR playing CB or your punter starting at QB. Ok, all I have to do is go into my depth chart and change it, but it's time consuming and annoying. It's also not fun playing against the AI's punter/QUARTERBACK! I know EA will fix this with a patch. All of the other stuff they added like dynamic player performance is not a big deal to me. I don't even notice it to be honest.
MENU/MUSIC
I'm a big fan of the NFL Films soundtrack. It's NOT in the game this year. The other songs are ok though, but it would be cool if you can add your own music..hint EA Sports :)
The Menu layout is almost the same as M11.
ULTIMATE TEAM:
Good as usual. They even added trading which is nice.
COMMENTARY:
Horrible. I turn it off. It is really bad. Joe Montana sports talk football had better commentary. They called Patrick Willis one of the best RB's in the league after he returned a fumble for a TD...Mistakes like that, there are too many.
GAMEPLAY:
Same to me as Madden 11. Maybe a little more difficult to pass, but that can be fixed with practice. I have noticed a bunch of bugs....Way too many to name, but trust me, there are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed in the patch.
GRAPHICS:
In my opinion. The graphics are worse than M11. They tried to make the grass look 3D, but it does more harm than good on my TV. My TV is only two years old. 1080p. Go on youtube and search for yourself and you'll know what I'm talking about. The animations are nice to look at.
Overall I would wait until they patch the game before buying it. So far I haven't heard any news on a patch and it's been almost a month since the game was released. A simple patch will turn this game from a C+ to an B+/A.. For now the game collects dust until a patch is released.
What's great about it: Expanded rosters. New Animations.
What's not so great: Needs better commentary. Too many bugs that NEED to be addressed.

If you are deciding between COD Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, pick MW2! These are FACTS about the game. What I'm about write is what you WILL notice about the game..
1) Less killstreak rewards.
Why? Why would you remove so many good killstreaks(ie. NUKE)?
Dogs take 11 kills to get? Why? World at War needed seven kills for dogs? Why are dogs the best killstreak available? I don't get it?
2) Guns are lame...Equipment is lame....
3) In MW2 you had the option of using a shotgun or SMG as a secondary weapon. Even W@W gave you the option to use two primary's as a secondary. In Black Ops, you have to decide between a hand gun, bow and arrow, or a bazooka. Why?
4) INSANE LAG! WAAY TOO MANY DISCONNECTS. It's not my internet. Everyone gets kicked...
5) Maps are horrible. CANNOT SNIPE AT ALLLL. Why? Because the person you just sniped ALWAYS spawns right behnd you..All the time! ! !
6) No Stoppin Power...Guns are weak! ! !!! !
Black Ops is a DOWNGRADE! DO NOT BUY IT!
What's great about it: Nothing. The bar was set with MW2 and this comes nowhere near it!
What's not so great: If you never heard of COD and someone handed you the last three games. You would think Black Ops was the oldest.

Not enough Civ content.

This game is lackluster. It falls well short of the PC versions. If you own Civ4 and all the expansions such as Warlords and BTS then you know what i'm talking about. I bought this game hoping to get an indepth version of Civ for my PS3 and all I got was an arcade style Civ....If you like this game and have never played Civ for the PC then you don't know what you're missing.
***IF YOU OWN CIVILIZATION FOR THE PC. DO NOT BUY THE PS3 VERSION!***
What's great about it: Controls are easy to use.
What's not so great: It is nothing like the PC versions of the game.

Better, but not by much
By JaeQ from New Jersey
-The graphics have improved, along with hitting and pitching. Its literally wildly difficult to get decent hits and maintain consistant pitching.
-The commentating has not changed one bit, they say the same old phrases over and over.
-And the alot of players heads look hilariously unproportionate.
-The plate coverage indicator is irritatingly annoying, is difficult to make out the location of the pitch...
-Home Run Derby is just as boring as always.
-Overall I still enjoy playing but Im not thoroughly impressed, certainly not what they have hyped it up to be. Any baseball player will still enjoy it.
