Great machine, but bad aircraft battery out of box

After much research and almost buying a Phantom 4, I decided on the Inspire 1 V2.0. I'm sure glad that I did as it is SO much more aircraft than my old Phantom 2+. However, this experience was not without pain. Inspire was delivered by BB, but the aircraft battery would not charge at all. Called BB and they said that the only thing that they could do was to send me a complete new unit. Receive the new unit and that battery would not charge either. My research showed that DJI programmed the battery to self-discharge to a safe storage level after 10 days. However, that same battery firmware thought that there was no LiPo battery connected, and would never go into charge mode...catch 22 DJI firmware problem that supposedly has now been corrected with a system firmware update. Ordered a third battery from Amazon and that one charged normally. My conclusion is that either that new battery has the new update, or it did not set on the shelf as long as the BB unit did. After much Googling, I finally found a fix to "jump start" the BB battery, and it works OK now and I updated that battery firmware. Second issue was that I purchased a second remote for dual operator, but I could not connect it to either the master remote or the aircraft. Three hours on phone with DJI resulted in them telling me to send it all in for them to look at (I did NOT). Another 45 hours later after much research, trial and error, I got everything working perfectly, no thanks to DJI. Overall conclusions are Best Buy was great in trying to handle my problem, DJI mechanical/electronic design is first class, DJI firmware and system quality control is non-existant, DJI customer support is mostly worthless.
