Seems like a high quality product. I'm not sure about the cord issue since my family mostly uses the cordless phones. This matches real well with our stainless steel appliances. We get many compliments on this phone.
What's great about it: looks, sound
What's not so great: cord is definitely not replaceable
I would recommend this to a friend!
