Iniitially I bought the remote and took it back the next day because I was having a hard time getting this product to work. Well, I had second thoughts on this product because of the overall positive reviews and decided to give it another go. I had set it up different this time around and everything worked pefect. My only complaint is that this product only included one mini ir blaster. No probelm, I purchased another one for only $10 to hook up my other devices. I really like the remote but I use my Harmony App as well. After set up, everything was very easy to use.

Much better than I expected

I have a Sonos Playbar including the sub and two Play 3s. After setting this system up I was blown away by the sound this system delivers. And, yes, it truly delivers a nice 5.1 sound (confirmed this with a direct connection from my Apple TV to my Sonos system). Here's the issue with most people not receiving the 5.1 surround sound: it's not the Sonos system, which is very futuristic, it's your TV including mine. You either need to purchase a new TV that pushes 5.1 or purchase a device that can support 5.1. I just purchased a Monoprice 4X1 HDMI Switcher w/ Toslink & Digital Coaxial Port (Rev.2) w/ 3D support. Have not received it yet but it should work per another consumer. I will definitely share my results once I set this up.
What's great about it: Very easy to set up and love the appearance; much provided flexibility in terms of desired location/wireless streaming
What's not so great: Pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!

Update on Sonos System

The Monoprice 4X1 HDMI Switcher w/ Toslink & Digital Coaxial Port (Rev.2) w/ 3D support worked like a champ with my Sonos set up. I am now getting DD 5.1 (not DTS) from all of my devices that support DD 5.1. A reviewer mentioned that the Bose Lifestyle 135 beats the Sonos hands down. I respectfully disagree with that. Initially I bought the Bose Lifestyle 135 and returned it because it didn't quite give me the sound I was expecting from Bose. In fact, I'm a fan of Bose products and have been for many years. But, man, this Sonos system rocks in terms of its sound and flexibility to stream music. Way to go Sonos!!

Yes the iPhone will fit without any kind of case.
