Slick modern looks, works great

The modern look and function of this mouse are what drew me to it, and the function is great. I had some Reward Zone cash that was burning a hole in my pocket and I remembered seeing this mouse on CES coverage and thought it would be a cool mouse for my laptop.
Some of the problems that people are having are probably due to still getting acclimated to the unique design of this mouse. I will also have to say that if you have smaller hands it may not be the mouse for you. The buttons do not click easily on the rearward 2/3 and the scroll takes a day or so to get used to. My better half has small hands and said it would be a little more difficult to work on all day than a standard mouse. I used the the intro activities on the Microsoft website to help acclimate myself (included in package).
Overall I'm very impressed that the mouse works on almost any surface, many that I struggled to get a standard optical mouse to work on, and the low profile storage that slides into my laptop case easily. I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a great traveling mouse that looks cool too.
What's great about it: Design, easy to setup, low profile storage, works on tons of surfaces optical doesn't
What's not so great: A little pricey, better for people with larger hands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tons of fun

Move is a ton of fun. If you can be one of the lucky ones to snag one of the extra controllers to play with friends, it's even better. We even find ourselves working up a sweat playing some of the games. The price of the controller is a little pricey in my opinion, but well worth the investment for fun.
What's great about it: Tons of fun
What's not so great: Price is a little high

Great Receiver

I have always been a big fan of Onkyo and this receiver only confirms that. Easy setup, great power for small or large rooms, more features and connections that even the biggest techno nerd could utilize make this a great value at almost any budget.
What's great about it: Easy Setup, Killer Features, Way ahead of products at this price point
What's not so great: A little more expensive than budget receivers, but worth the price
I would recommend this to a friend!

Connecting external audio system to LED-LCD TV?

I wanted to connect up my Samsung LCD-LED TV to my Bose AcousticSound Music system using an audio Y adapter, but all I get is a low humming sound. Is the sound system or adapter not compatible.
It should work. Go into the Audio menu on the TV and make sure that you have the analog audio output turned on and that it is fixed. Then try again. Good luck!

I have a Harmon/kardon AVR25 II I need to replace. I would like to drive 8 speakers with an A/B speaker switch and also be able to plug in my ipod. What are my options? The technology has changed so much since I bought my HK in the early 90s. Thanks!
It depends on what the 8 speakers are. I would say go with an Onkyo TXSR507 if you plan on only doing 5.1 and having a zone 2 (speaker b with simultaneous selectable sources). If you want to do 7.1 I would go with the Onkyo TXSR607. I have a HK AVR340 and it's great, however I just upgraded to an Onkyo TXSR607, very similar sound quality, but Onkyo usually is a step ahead of HK in technology and value (cheaper for what you get) Hope this helps.

Is samsung LCD LN52A650 energy star qualified ? also does it has a PIP features ? What model year and series ? And lastly How is the rating for this LCD ?
Yes it's energy star qualified, yes it has PIP (I think source and source not dual tuner). It is a 2008 Model Series 6 and the ratings are very good. Very Impressive picture.

Where to place atenna?

Should I put it near window, on top, I dont know where
Placing an antenna is subjective. Your best bet is to try all of those places and see what works best in your house. Everyone's house has different interference issues so you just have to see what works for you.

set up issues

I have an A/V unit with one HDMI used for DVD. I have a Tivo unit also with one HDMI. The tv has two HDMI inputs and all works well.

i bought a Vaio fro BB that has a blu ray player. If I switch out the HDMI from the A/V unit and plug it into the pc - I will see the blu ray picture just fine. However, no sound unless I switch to internal speakers. I tried an HDMI switcher but still the same result - pic, no sound.
In the video card settings on the computer you need to make sure that it's sending audio through the HDMI cable as well. From what it sounds like it is already setup that way if the TV speakers are working, just not the A/V unit. The best way to get sound through the A/V unit is to either run a 3.5mm (out from Computer Speakers output) to Red and White 2 RCA (in the aux input on the A/V unit), or if the computer has digital Optical or Digital Coax outputs you can run those to the A/V unit (given that it has those inputs). The other way you can solve this problem is if you run audio cable from the Audio out on the TV to the aux input on the Television. Any of these 3 ways will work, the digital coax or digital optical will result in the best sound. Hope that helps.

samsung LN52A650

when you turn off and on the tv there is a ding sound ( like windows when you shutdown ) now after a week its just click like the usual thing when you turn off and on the tv. Is there something wrong with it or is it normal after a week ? what can we do to turn that sound back?
I don't think that there's a setting for it within the menus, however if it's not affecting the performance of the TV I wouldn't worry about it.

TV for People With Macular Degeneration?

Is there a better or best television set
for anyone who has macular
degeneration?
Your best bet is to buy a bigger TV. From what I understand, macular degeneration affects direct focused vision, while peripherial vision is still maintained. If you get a larger TV, the more peripherial you will be using. Also a tv with greater brightness and contrast will make images clearer. Samsung does a great job with both of these, while remaining affordable.
