Used this to take delayed snapshots with my HeroHD. With the camera plugged in I could take photos for nearly an entire day (8+ hours driving). It's probably suitable for most people's needs.

I used this for my road trip in combination with the suction cup mount. The best thing about it is I could have it mounted on my dash and plugged into the USB charger tacking delayed snapshots. With the waterproof one you're constrained to however long the battery lasts.

Occasionally problems with WiFi, otherwise good

Works most the time. I use the CAT 5E connection, wife uses the WiFi. Sometimes the wireless connection acts goofy, but it may just be a result of the other 20 or so WiFi connections in the same area.

What's not so great: WiFi flakes out occaisionally

Type easier and more accurately with the height-adjustable HP Elite V2 wireless keyboard. Paid $19.99 for this on sale. My only concern was wether or not the bluetooth would be recognized on startup so I could get into the BIOS with the keyboard. On an AMI BIOS from 2007 it recognized the keyboard and worked instantly without a single problem. I would give it a 5 on compatibility, but I haven't tried it with my macbook and have no reason to.
What's great about it: Price, form, functionality
What's not so great: Doesn't come with a grilled cheese sandwich.
I would recommend this to a friend!
