I've used these adapters before, and until this model came out, there weren't many gigabyte options out there; this one does the job, and is built nicely, comes in an attractive package, and if you need to bring gig speeds to a device without an ethernet port, this is the device to do it!
Wish it came with another cable, to allow you to connect it to a Fire TV device, but, aside from that, its just what you are looking for, to get gig speeds to devices with a USB port, but no ethernet!

Its nice when a simple product like this works exactly the way it is supposed to; the power block is heavy duty and well made, and you get a super nice cable with it, probably the best cable I have ever seen included in a charging product, and the high power outlets charge my iPad and Mac book quickly.
This is the one to buy, if you are looking for a high power, fast charging block for your Mac products!

I wanted the UPRIGHT GO 2 to help me improve my posture, since I do a lot of sitting in front of computers. I once tried a yoga strap for that purpose, but it tends to slip out of positioning throughout the day, and looks funny if you wear it over your clothes. The GO is easy to put on, and is very inobtrusive under your clothes. I’ve only been using it for a few days, but I think it does help improve posture. I put the app on my android phone. It has a “training” mode and a “tracking” mode. The first step is to calibrate it to your correct posture. In training mode (which is a very short period of only 5 minutes in the beginning), you will get slight buzzes when you move out of correct posture. In tracking mode, you can see a little avatar on your phone screen, which shows your posture (but it does NOT buzz) in tracking mode. The app will show you how long you are “slouched” during your tracking period. If you’re up and around doing things around the house, of course, you may be “slouching” a lot as you move around. But if you’re working at your desk looking at a computer screen, you can check the app on your phone. Overall, I think this will help me improve, but I wish there were a way to turn on buzzing during tracking mode, as a reminder to keep good posture without having to look at my phone.

Expensive, but worth it

My wife and son suffer from a variety of airborne allergies, and, since moving to Arizona, some have gone away, and others have become more acute. The amount of dust out here is legendary, and, as great as it is living here, one of the worst things is the airborne pollution that comes through here, especially during the monsoon season. We don't usually open the windows because of that, but we do spend most of our time outdoors, so the doors open and close numerous times a day, allowing dust and other pollutants into our house. We've had a couple of good air cleaners since moving here, but, I knew that this one would be the most effective for helping out with airborne pollutants, and after a few days of use, I can confirm that!
Very quiet at low speeds, and not too bad at max speeds, within an hour of hooking it up, my wife and I both noticed a BIG difference in the air quality in our house. Considering all the stages of filtration this unit offers, its no surprise in how effective it is.
Its hard to put a price on good health/air quality, but, if you want the best, look no farther than this unit..Highly recommended!

good quality video, awful software and setup

as a few others have noted, this camera has high quality video, but the software is horrible, and the initial setup to the internet is flaky.
fortunately, I have had several other security/web cams, so I wasnt surprised at how flaky the initial setup was.
Once setup, it was obvious the software, which, has several variants that you have to choose from, was very poor.
So, keep that in mind before buying this camera; the quality of the unit is good, but everything else isnt.

interesting concept, weird implementation

this device was interesting to us, since we regularly have sore muscles and we have a few devices that help ease muscle pain. This ball, has a weird control "panel" on it, but once you figure out how to turn it on and off, and to regulate the intensity, it turned out to be kind of interesting.
However, it is very intense, you need to use it on a mat or rug or in bed, NOT an wood/tile floors, and it may be to intense for older/in experienced users.
This wouldn't be my first choice, if looking for a massager....

Decent Unit, nice sound, ok value

After owning most totally wireless earbuds since the category became popular, I was interested to see how these buds would compare to some of the top end units out there..
They are bigger than the other premium models, and, you either love or hate that "green": color, which is the only color they come in..
The charge case is pretty flimsy, and only holds one 6 hour re-charge, but the buds themselves last 6 hours, so a total of 12 hours is pretty good.
Sound is real nice, of course not equal to the Sennheisers, but more like the Bose..No App with them, and for phone calls, you only get sound out of one ear, so be aware of that..

Works well; a bit awkward to keep standing up

I was surprised to see how well the reception was on my tv with this indoor antenna; its rated for 60 miles, and I live about 40 miles away from the tv towers in Phoenix, but I was able to get 35 channels connected, almost all perfectly, setting this up on my bedroom dresser.
There are about 60 OTA channels out here, so I was impressed to get that many with an indoor antenna!
If you are looking for a good indoor antenna, and are less than 60 miles or less from your towers, this should work well for you!

I actually like Sony phones, although their software sometimes leaves something to be desired, but, it is much less resource heavy than any Samsung stuff, and their designs are definitely different from most run of the mill android phones.
Surprisingly quick, nice to hold in your hand, and has android Pie as the OS..
Would have liked to see wireless charging, and, stereo speakers, but, it does have a headphone jack, and a nice display, and a very nice camera package, so, if you are looking for an alternative to another Samsung phone, you should take a look at this one...Nicer than I thought it would be!

nice package, with a couple of shortcomings

Jaybird products have always been a top choice for folks who like to workout, and this item is no exception; they feel great on your ears while working out, and, the braided cable that connects them doesnt cause any discomfort or issues while pushing yourself hard..
A couple of things that could use improvement; the sound is good, but not as good as the Bose soundsport headset; but definitely good enough to enjoy..
However, the charging cradle is very weird, and not at all what would be called "easy to use" or convenient..I am sure Jaybird had a reason to use this cradle, but, its really not user friendly, and hopefully gets replaced in the next version..
Either way, its not enough to keep folks from buying and loving this headset, so if you're a Jaybird fan, dont hesitate to buy this!

Connect the router, and was unable to connect to the Internet. After a few tries, it did connect.
The next day, the connection was down. So, I replaced the router.
The second router would not connect. After substantial trial and error, I finally changed the MTU setting to 1300 from the default 1500. After doing some searching on the Internet, I did find that changing to 1400 would be adequate. The Internet connection is now up and running.
Oddly, the configuration on the "Basic" tab of the of the router's configuration is saying that the Internet is down.
Sheesh ... I hate being a beta tester for a released product!!! Particularly at the price point for this one.
That being said, the router's performance on the wired segment and the wireless segment does seem to be stable and performing as expected; and my expectations are high after doing some substantial research prior to purchasing this router..
Netgear support is abysmal. I attempted to call their support number, and after a number of rings the line went blank with no message #3 attempts#, The chat service took over a half an hour waiting in queue, and when finally supposedly connecting to a representative, the chat was dropped saying that there was no representative available #three attempts#. Opened a case via e-mail support, and received a stupid response with a link to a support web page and related links that I had already researched.
I've decided to keep the router for the time being as the performance, particularly on the wireless segment, it the best I've seen. I'm hoping Negear fixes the bugs in the firmware.
I also suspect, at least for the short term, a lot of users are going to return this product to the point of purchase because they won't be able to connect to the internet. I also suspect that Netgear is going to get a lot of support calls on this one, and people are going to be upset with the poor support received.

I've set up dozens of new routers in my life, so I thought this system would be a breeze to setup, but it was a long, drawn out process.
It seemed easy enough, using your cell phone, after downloading the linksys app, but, it took me numerous attempts with my Nexus 6 to get the modem and the first unit to sync; eventually, I used my pixel xl phone, and it finally made the connection. Be aware you may have to use the back button on your phone to go backwards in the setup menu, which i had to do to get the initial setup to complete.
After the first unit was setup, it was a breeze to get the other 2 units to connect to the network.
I've tested it running 2- 4kUHD streams and a 1080p movie wirelessly, with out a hitch, and at the same time got top speeds while running speed tests at the same time, so, having enough bandwidth was no issue; I have a total of 15 devices connected to my network, and they all connect as fast as they ever did with my previous top of the line router.
I have the units on 3 different floors in my house, and the speeds are the same on all 3 levels, so this system can easily handle a large house with multi floors.
This will definitely solve any wifi coverage issues you may have had in the past; just make sure you have at least an hour to work on setting up the 3 stations!

So, after dealing with issues with this setup for 7 days now, I must modify my review to say I do NOT recommend this product.
I have gone through 7 days or it working fine, then not working right, then speeds work as they should, then dropping off to almost zero, so there is something not quite right yet with this system.
Linksys support has been great, helping me with phone calls, emails, and follow up, but I just don't think the firmware for this product is worth of release status at this point.
My netgear A7200 nighthawk router, which is setup on the second floor office in my house, gives me consistent maximum speeds everywhere in my house, all the time, never wavering, but, the linksys velop system did not provide the consistency that the Netgear router gives me. I am on a fast Comcast connection, getting downloads of 180 megs and uploads of 25 megs everywhere in my house with the Netgear router, yet, the linksys velop would vary anywhere from 180 megs down, to 20 megs down, and, it didn't matter what time of day, or how many devices I had connected at the same time.
I really wanted to like the Linksys Velop, and, I assume, in the future, these issues will get ironed out. But, at this time, the lack of consistent, high speed download speed was not what I want/need in my home network routing setup.

Does it project the sound forward so that if put in a tv stand or console the sound is not negatively affected?
it should, although the "Atmos" channels, project sound upwards, so you may not get the Atmos channel sounding like you would if it was out in the open

I don’t need to have rear surrounds in my setup, if I leave the detachable speakers attached will the act as surrounds or front wides?
