I was browsing at my favorite Best Buy location and just when I was about to leave empty handed, I chanced upon this Roku Express streaming device. Apparently it just recently came out and that being said, I was surprised at how low-priced it is for what it can do. Since I have been thinking of setting up my small spare TV as a workout room entertainment device, I decided to purchase it and I was immediately satisfied by this little gem. The device is super easy to set up and syncs seamlessly with my other Roku device built in to my giant 4K TV. Some reviewers said that it is sluggish but so far with mine, it hasn't really been that pronounced. I didn't expect it to be as snappy as the one built in to my 4K TV but I mean come on, the thing's 30 bucks. Sound and picture/image quality are quite acceptable and live streaming so far with at least one news app is highly reliable (wi-fi dependent of course). Overall, this device is capable enough at it's price point but I would suggest to get the more feature-packed and pricier Roku devices if you are thinking about using streaming devices for your main TV and entertainment hub.

If you're like me who doesn't care about having iPhones (I'm a Samsung guy) but somehow need to use FaceTime, this is about the best Apple device to buy. Although the tech used was 3 years old, it still receives the latest updates and software features and it's also the perfect size for me to suit my FaceTime and on the go needs. Just be sure to connect to WiFi and or your phone's hotspot in order to fully realize it's intended use. The Q is at it again! This is one heck of a bloody, cerebral western picture that's guaranteed to keep you entertained. Loved it when I saw it in the theater and love it even more watching it at home :)

Seen this in the theater and still I was laughing all through out the whole movie. Will and Mark have such a great comedic chemistry! Plus, the ending cracked me up big time!

This speaker is perfect for minimalists as it is cheap and small as you see on the picture and yet provides a big sound. It delivers richer sound experience and adds acceptable levels of bass. Remember listening to low levels of movie and music sounds on your laptop's mediocre built-in speakers? Let it be bygone with this speaker.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and this notebook PC is good enough for basic needs such as word processing, web browsing/surfing, light-weight fun games, music (streaming too), video/movie streaming and DVD movie playback.
This review is actually for a replacement (within 2 days via Best Buy) of the first one I got in which some of the keys weren't working and it failed to update. Must be one of those that slipped through ASUS' quality control stuff.
Now there was at least one previous reviewer that complained he/she can't play DVD movies. I ran into the same issue (also with my HP TS-15, Win 8.1) with this ASUS computer and the problem is not with the hardware but the codec and licensing with Windows 8/8.1. I'd say it's just another one of those B.S. that came along with the so called "Metro" Windows OS... With my HP, it came with a media software to do just that but with ASUS, I'd recommend that prospective buyers download the free VLC Media Player in order to get the job done. I got both this ASUS and my HP the software and they both work fine and dandy.
Note: This is not a touch screen notebook PC.
Plus side: fast enough (at this time), big screen, full keyboard layout, USB 3.0, not much bloatware (compared to HP), textured finish
Cons: slightly heavy (it has a non-removable battery), Win 8.1 is slightly confusing at first (glad I had practice with my HP prior)

Slightly Disappointing But Still Fun Overall.

I am disappointed at how short the campaign is in this game. I played online MP and Zombie first and started playing it the day after I got it and played for 3 hours. Then the following day it was all over after playing it another 3 hours. I was like "That's it?"
Looks like the COD franchise is slowly drifting away from the good 'ol days when they used to offer great and satisfactorily long campaigns. Also, the story is kind of out of line from the title "Call of Duty" as this one has been an almost complete transformation from last year's overt military story and the previous titles that preceded it. The plot is more like something that comes out of a Hollywood sci-fi director's mind rather than one that comes out of a war director's ideas.
I thought we're gonna experience Cold War's field wars like the Vietnam (there is at least one chapter on it but that's all) and the Korean Wars. Instead, we were treated with a sci-fi inspired and historically distorted campaign. But compared to last year's MW's campaign story, Black Ops appears to be the better one (MW1's story is still the best COD story, followed by WaW imho).
As for the graphics, I honestly think that Treyarch just copied and pasted character models from their previous game, COD: WaW. Infinity Ward does a better job in character designs than 3Arc. It is also worth mentioning several framerate issues in the game, both MP and SP modes.
Online MP and Zombie mode? Well these is where 3Arc and their new game shines. I seriously think this is the one game that offers the best bang for the buck. Hours and hours of MP and Zombie fun will surely keep you indoors throughout the whole winter season ;-). 3Arc did a good job on the new MP modes in addition to the traditional ones. Beware though of some performance issues and these are widely known throughout the CoD community (just search online for further info). These issues, however, don't render the game unplayable. It's just kinda frustrating from time to time.
Overall, this could have been a perfect game if it were not for the short, "meh" campaign, some graphics issues and a little bit of performance red flags online.
What's great about it: Good online modes and of course Zombie mode
What's not so great: Lags, Connectivity Issues, VERY SHORT "meh" campaign

Online experience could be better

Singleplayer: This game is awesome in its entirety on the singleplayer area. GTA fans may be let down a bit due to seemingly repetitive nature of the game and little variety but the setting being in the Old Americas alone makes up for it. Never seen a Western game quite like it. And true to Rockstar style, players may find themselves confused what to do at first. Heck!, hunting wild anilmals and picking flowers alone eats a lot of time.
Multiplayer: This area is this game's Achilles. In short, this area is full of bugs and glitches. Character disappearing, steeds nowhere to be found, enemies and wild animals sucking your life out of nowhere (are they invisible really?), and worse, players getting stuck while doing crucial missions. Rockstar, you gotta do better than that. Expecting a quick fix on this.
As a whole, the graphics and the environment are some of the most awesome around, mechanics doesn't hurt players who are into CoD and other shooting games, and sound and music are just superb. One thumbs up Rockstar/TakeTwo!
What's great about it: Refreshing in a sense that the environment is so unique
What's not so great: Online bugs and glitches are unbearable

any HDTV with HDMI capability... either a 720 or a 10180 will do. save some money and get a 720 and you wouldn't notice any difference unless you have a robotic eye.
