Junk

My fault, the blame is mostly mine, thinking a $19 tripod would be anything more than cheap plastic junk. I saw the "Sunpak" label and thought I was buying a different model. Sunpak makes other, sturdier models for about $10 or $15 more -- not sure the specs on them, but they are usually light gray and black, as opposed to all solid black, like these. I didn't pay close enough attention to the details on these tripods and accidentally ordered four of them for my middle-school film class. They have all lost a part or broken in some way within one week. Yes, a middle-school film class can be rough on equipment, but my tripods usually last at least 6-12 months, not 6-12 days.

What's great about it: cheap
What's not so great: broken within one week
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

JVC Camcorders with YouTube Export Capability

I currently have a top-line JVC Everio hard drive camcorder ($599 new two years ago). I do a lot of web and online video posting for my sport of dog agility and am now interested in purchasing a JVC camcorder that has YouTube conversion capability.

Which JVC model(s) will work best for my needs? (Preferably under $350)

And do these JVCs use flash memory cards, or are there hard drive versions available?

Thanks!
I've never tried to directly export to youtube -- I always go through iMovie first. But yes - these JVC's use SD cards for storage.
