Top-notch Picture

I purchased the 49" Sony 900E as a monitor for my home bar. Over the years I noticed that guests tend to watch the TV behind the bar much more than the larger projector on the other side of the room. With that being said, the main purpose of this TV is to show sports and occasionally other OTA content. The native 120hz display combined with Sony's incredible image processing lead me to the 900E. The FALD display contributes to outstanding blacks with little blooming and helps make HDR content really pop! I wish they would have put the X1 Extreme processor in this set so we could enjoy Dolby Vision content but I am satisfied with HDR10 and Sony's frame by frame image processing (not to mention the price point). There has been some talk about off angle image quality but for my purposes (corner mount) I don't see any issues. Overall I would give this TV a 9.4/10 and would highly recommend it to anyone in the mid-range non-OLED market.

I use Rtings when I am researching TV's and highly recommend checking out their review if you need any more encouragement to purchase this TV.
