best range remote start / alarm

Excellent remote start / keyless entry / alarm combo package. Lots of bells and whistles to impress the friends and fam (color animations etc.). the range is superb (up to a mile maximum) as long as your not in a building with concrete walls and /or metal /concrete roofing. As a true 2- way it even has the option to tell you what temp you car is before you get in it (either Farenheit or celcius programmable). Options for defrost, silent alarm/ disarm, lots of auxiliaries for winow controls, actuators, etc.
only complaint, if you keep the audible sound and the vibration on for alerts (combined w/ color animations) for the remote it only gets about a month's worth of charge but, it is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery w/ mini-USB and a secondary 1-way remote comes with it, so no problem!!
What's great about it: range
What's not so great: batt. life compared to other remotes (explained)
I would recommend this to a friend!

so i had a kicker 12" CVR on a alpine 600w PDX mono block amp and it blew (got the sub for free off of someone because they fried the tinsel lead and I fixed it with some saulder). had an infinity kappa on it for a while (only 350w RMS but amazing tonal accuracy) but the cone would get excessively warm due to the amount of power so figured it was time for a beefier replacement... couldnt have gone wrong with this decision... great bass throughout the hertz range with no distortion whatsoever even with overpowering it with 600w RMS. so fresh and so clean. couldn't be happier, getting another i like it so much!!!
What's great about it: tonal accuracy
What's not so great: doesn't make toast...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best bang for the buck 4-channel

for an amp that can be mounted behind most vehicles glove boxes, this baby packs a real punch! This amplifier while small, delivers more than double the wattage to your speakers than an aftermarket radio will.
In saying that i actually had to turn it down after i had installed it because it produced so much volume even in an open cab SUV. The signal to noise ratio isn't great but for $150 compared to $200+ for a standard 4-channel and then add wiring on top of that and still have it mounted to a seat, or enclosure or under a seat where it can be in the way... no thanks I'll hide it behind the dash. I will recommend this to all my customers. Geek Squad Autotech approved.

programming function

that is a programming function for horn honk in the remote start , not the bypass. all that needs be done is stop into bby and have them reprogram the unit for horn honk as long as the horn connection was wired in the first place. again not a problem with the bypass though.

as long as the wires for arm/ disarm were connected from the remote start it will work with factory alarm (if the bypass doesnt already do it for you)

yes most vehicles are 12 volt systems (with the exception of some hybrids which can be 40 volt) however that is 12 without the alternator running, while the engine is operating a healthy electrical system should be operating in the 14v - 14.5v range, but that again is an average for most vehicles, not all will be the same.

Will Best Buy install subs in a box I purchase from another vendor? You dont have one to fit my truck..
yes we install most products purchased from anywhere as long as it is work we can perform with the tools on hand (custom boxes and fiberglass not available at most locations). we can do this since our pricing is flat rates. we also guarantee all of the work we do for the lifetime of the vehicle!
