Great smarthphone, best value for the price

I have to say that this is a great smartphone overall, 2 weeks using constantly the device to work and personal life (dual sim). The design is gorgeus, looks like a big iphone 5, the size of the Note 3 and slim almost like iPhone 6.
It comes with a soft transparent case and screen protector (plastic film).
The battery duration is more than enough for a full day, even if I shared as hotspot, played some youtube videos during day, sending emails at least 1-2 per hour. I come from an Xperia Z3+ dual sim, I was frustrated because of the overheating problems on the snapdragon 810 proccessor, so I switch to a phone that cost me just 1/3 of my super hot smartphone.... Im so happy now, no overheating, everything smooth as I want. I only miss the camera quality, isnt bad in the vivo 5, but 21MP and 60fps is an important difference vs 13MP and 30 fps. Also the graphics is a noticeable downgrade for me, but I dont care because I dont use my phone to play a lot, I only like to do multimedia as much to be fun on my free time.
Talking a little more about the graphics, I ran the antutu benchmark in my Xperia Z3+ (snapdragon 810 x64) vs the Blu Vivo 5 (Mediatek MT6753), and the conclusion: the Vivo 5 barely beats the Z3+ related to multitasking and apps management (very important to me), but about the GPU performance, the Z3+ scored 3 more times the Vivo 5, so isn't a great phone to play games that demands hardcore graphics. Maybe the snapdragon 615 (1st processor competitor actually) has better GPU performance than the MT6752 in the Vivo 5, but Im pretty sure that isnt better about apps proccesses&multitasking demans.
Antutu benchmark scores 38200-38500 usually.
Points to keep in mind before buy:
- The slots for the sims: Is dual sim, yes; but you can't place a MicroSD and 2 sims at the same time, you should decide If you carry 1 sim + MicroSD or 2 sims. Also, the size for the sims is 1 nanosim & 1 microsim. For me 32 gbs is more than enough at the moment. I prefer to use with 2 sims.
- The app interface doesn't have app dock. It means, if you are thinking that you will hit a button in which you will open all your available apps, you are wrong; all the apps are over your 1st screen (multiple screens if you need more space for your apps). So, make folders and categorize as needed will be the best strategy in this case on my POV. I don't like to download apps as ADW that gives me an "app dock", it demands resources and I felt my usage experience slow and clumpsy.
Issues with phone at the moment (not considered as failure, just issues):
- 2 days ago I noticed that my Wifi download/upload speed was 1-50Kb/s as maximum (you can activate a function on the top to view the exact download speed all time, nice feature), so that's is extremely low when I'm usually downloading at least 1-1.5Mb/s. I tried deleting many apps, including the smart app to close all the processes & save battery. After test and error, the solution: Bluetooth was on (to stay always synced with my Basis Peak smartwatch). After place the bluetooth to off, I started to download at high speeds as expected. Weird effect about bluetooth on Wifi, maybe interference of the signals or a bug that creates a misfunction on the Wifi.
Well, Im very satisfied and happy with the purchase, it worths the $200 by far.
Regards =)
I would recommend this to a friend!
