Ive been on the fence for awhile about curved displays. Expecially when they were so popular as TV's. I didnt see the advantage or reason until now. Now that its used as my gaming and PC monitor I “get it” now.
First off the build is amazing. It just looks like something off of a starship. And it being 40” I see no reason to have to run multiple monitors anymore. It elegantly wraps around the desk and immerses you in like no other has for me.
I do wish it was an OLED like my main TV is. But its not far off. The colors and blacks look great. And at 180Hz the performance is tops. It easily handles all I throw at it and asks for more! And with 1ms response time you will never have any sort of input lag at all.
It has plenty of ports to connect your PC and gaming consoles. One extra HDMI would have been nice. But I have an auto HDMI switcher that works well so thats not a big issue.
The picture quality is very good as well. Ive been spoiled by the black levels of OLED but its not a deal breaker. It has some of the best graphics Ive seen.
Overall I am absolutely loving this monitor. The way you just fall in and get immersed is amazing. I now get why this was a fad for TV's years ago. But with a monitor it actually makes sense. Love it.

Comfortable great sounding gaming headset

The first thing I noticed is the weight (or lack thereof). They are very lightweight despite having a very solid build to them. At just over a half of pound they can stay comfortably on your head for long gaming sessions. But in my case I use them for all my audio (not just gaming). So they need to be able to stay comfortable for hours.
The initial set up and install is very easy using the included dongle. I like that by having Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connectivity you can stay connected to your game and phone at the same time. The dongle is a bit weird shaped but is easy to get connected with a simple adapter if needed.
Soundwise I am really impressed. The spatial sound is amazing. This is great for locating things in competitive gaming, but also works awesome with movies, TV, etc. It has very crisp sound that is very well balanced. And the bass isnt too loud where it becomes the main focus. Its perfect.
The claimed battery life is 30 hours. This is of course all based on usage. If you are using BT and 2.4 you can probably get half that. But that is still plenty for a full day use before it needs a charge.
The noise canceling works great as well. It really blocks out all the stuff you dont want to hear which adds to the overall immersion of your game or movie. Sony has this dialed in.
The Inzone app allows you to further tweak things like the EQ to your liking. I prefer a set it and forget it type of set up so Ill work on the EQ and other settings to make one that will work for all my audio needs.
Overall I am really impressed with the H9 II. It has all the sound, features, and settings I need for all my audio from my TV and phone. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality drone for an excellent price

The Snaptain P40 Lite is an all around excellent drone for what it costs. It has good build quality, great footage, and pretty good run time. In the box you get the drone, remote with built in battery, 1 drone battery, a storage box and several other extras for those inevitable crashes.
The initial set up was very easy and you can be up and flying in minutes (after you charge the battery of course). Connecting my phone was easy and opens up a whole new set of features. The battery life is OK, but Id recommend an extra battery so you can fly while one is charging.
It flies excellent and is a lot of fun to fly as well. Dont expect super high speeds, but it was plenty fast for me. It also flies very stable as well.
It has a lot of great features from much more expensive drones. Follow me, auto land, etc. I look forward to using it to follow me on some motorcycle footage Id like to get.

Overall for what you pay this is an amazing drone, with lots of high end features, that is a lot of fun to fly. If your new or a novice to drones this is an excellent choice! And due to its size you wont have to worry about the FAA restrictions that seem to get more strict by the day.

Nice mid tier gaming laptop

The Gigabyte A16 gaming laptop is a great laptop for those wanting to get into PC/ portable gaming without breaking the bank. You get very good overall performance, with a couple things that are upgradeable.
The laptop itself has an amazing build and design that I really like. Especially the large logo on the bottom. Most companies wouldnt care to think about the look of the bottom, but the attention to detail here is awesome. My favorite color on devices is matte black so I love its looks a lot. Its got a nice heft to it, but not too heavy. It also has all the ports you will ever need.
The 1900X1200 screen looks great with a nice high 165Hz refresh rate. This makes for some very nice detail and smoothness that really adds the immersion.
As far as performance goes it has a Intel Core i7-13620H Processor and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, combined with a 512gb SSD and 16gb of DDR5 Ram that allows very good gameplay and overall performance. 1080P gameplay is plenty for me.
Battery life is on par with most other gaming laptops and of course completely depends on what you are doing. Heavy gameplay from something like a first person shooter is going to zap it a lot faster then something like a puzzle game. But overall I am OK with the battery life.
The Dolby Atmos speakers sound pretty good for small speakers. You can crank them up and still get very good clear audio. Of course bass isnt going to blow you away, but that is to be expected.
Overall I am happy with this gaming laptop. It is the perfect entry level laptop to get into gaming. Its not going to be playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K, but most games play nice at 720 and 1080p.

Travel light without losing performance

The Surface is one of the slimmest and lightest laptops Ive ever owned. It has a very solid build, with excellent build quality, but super light and easy to carry and store at the same time.
The initial set up was again super easy with Windows 11. Getting all set up was a breeze.
The screen is called the PixelSense Flow touchscreen and it looks excellent. Nice and bright with great sharp graphics and text. The touchscreen is very responsive and accurate despite only being at 60Hz.
Battery life really shines here. Its rated at up to 23 hours and Im sure it could get that with light use, but getting a day easily here before having to charge up is plenty for my use needs.
It has Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8 Core processors, 16gb of RAM, and a 512GB SSD which really make the performance here snappy. No issues at all with running several programs and / or multiple tabs. Not to mention the super fast boot ups.
It only has 2 USB C 3.2, and 1 USB A 3.1 ports which I get when you have such a portable laptop. But this is no big deal. Just add a multi-port adapter and that solves that.
Some other great features are a back-lit keyboard, and of course Co-pilot + PC.
In summary I am very happy with this little guy. Its the perfect on the go laptop when you just want to travel light, but not have to sacrifice performance. Love it!

Excellent performance, looks, build, and features

Right off the bat the one thing I noticed with the Asus was just how awesome the build and looks are. Asus really knows how to make high performance laptops look the part. The Jaeger gray and TUF logo give a touch of class to match its classy performance. Its also a bit of the hefty side which is expected with whats in it.
The full HD plus IPS 1920X1200 screen looks great. It has plenty of brightness and looks crisp. And at 165Hz everything moves smooth with no noticeable screen issues at all. But of course you can connect it to a high end monitor or TV for full screen gaming.
The speakers arent going to blow you away, but they get the job done. Sounds are crisp and I didnt notice any popping or other noise at higher volume.
The battery is OK when using it as a PC. But when gaming you wont get much before it runs out. So just like many others it needs to be plugged in while doing any real gaming.
But when it is plugged in and you are doing real gaming it does it so well. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 combined with 32GB of DDR5 Ram makes everything play smooth as butter. I prefer controllers so I used my XBOX Series X controller and did some comparisons between the Asus and the Series X with the same games and they played so similar I didnt notice any real differences. Overall the gaming experience on this is great.
And the Arc flow fans kept everything fairly cool, but even more impressive was just how quiet the cooling system is. Loud fans really bother me, so I am very happy with the fans here.
The backlit keyboard is great too. It has just the right feel and feedback. And as far as connectivity it has all the connections you will need and then some.
Overall I am ecstatic at how nice this laptop is. It does everything I want from a gaming laptop and does it perfectly for me. Highly recommended!!

Excellent auto vacuum for shedders!

I recently moved to a place that has 2 cats and both are shedders. I thought Id be able to keep up with them with our regular vacuum, but unless I used it daily it wasnt possible. So a vacuum that can keep multi floor types clean and runs on its own was a must.
In the box you get the auto vacuum, auto dock, extra bag, and extra filter.
The initial set up was very easy to do following the apps instructions. Getting everything mapped and put together wasnt difficult at all.
After the set up the vacuum will “learn” the layout and may seem to be doing its own thing, but didnt take long to get it figured out.
I was very surprised at the power it has getting the fur up from the deeper carpet areas. I thought I would have to do a follow up with my normal vacuum, but was very happy with how well it did on all our floors. It of course doesnt get everything, but comes pretty close. And Id take pretty close over having to vacuum every day with our other vacuum.
Now of course our cats didnt exactly like this thing at first. One runs and hides the whole time, the other monitors it as it does its thing. But Im sure in time theyll adjust. I plan on getting a kitten soon, so it should be interesting to see how it reacts to it.
The smart features are great as well. The way it can determine suction strength, or decide to go back to the station for a quick charge is awesome. And once its all set up and your happy with whats its doing you can pretty much forget it. But of course there is light maintenance though. But its very easy and doesnt require it very often.

Excellent all floor type Vacuum

The Shark Detect Pro is the easiest to use Vacuums Ive had. The detect system both detects the floor type, your intended direction, and edges to make sure it gets everything.
The Vacuum is not overly heavy and rolls with ease over all floor types. I recently moved into a new place with hard and carpet floors and the Shark gets both cleaned very well.
The anti-allergen HEPA filter works very well with allergens and pet dander. Our 2 cats (soon to be 3) are super shedders and this has made keeping up with their shedding a breeze.
My new place also has carpeted stairs which is new to me, and the Sharks detachable part makes getting the crevices and corners of the stairs easy.
And maintenance is easy with the easily removable and hand washable filters. Just run under water, wait for drying and reinstall.
Im very happy with the Shark detect pro. Its the perfect companion for keeping our multi floor types clean, and keeping up with the cats. The detect systems really do work. If you have pets, or just want one of the best multi floor type vacuums this is highly recommended.

Vintage look, excellent sound, great for parties

The first thing I really like about the Marshall is the look. Its got that vintage look that looks like something from the 50's. But its anything but old. The build quality is excellent and has some decent heft to it owing to the nice 4” woofer. But its not so heavy that it makes it less portable. Its just built right.
The initial set up was a piece of cake connecting it to my phone. Instantly found it with my S24 plus and had access to my music library.
Although a 4” woofer doesnt sound big, the sound IS big. (Pun intended). Its surprisingly punchy when needed, but doesnt over do it. Bass is clean, accurate, and tight. The combined sound is amazing. It really sounds like its coming from a much larger set up. Super overall sound! Im not sure what wizardry they used but the 360 degree sound really does impress.
Another stand out feature is the battery life. It claims 50 hours which I havent checked. But even after several hours it still was in the 80% range. So I have no doubt it can get close to that.
The app is very nicely laid out and easy to use. You can fine tune the speaker to your liking with ease.
Bluetooth speakers have come a long way and Marshall is at the top of that in my opinion. It just doesnt get any better at this price and size. If you want a super sounding, long battery life, well made, awesome looking BT speaker look no further. I love it!

Sony hits a homerun with this system

My Bravia X950G has been a great TV and has great sound even from the built in speakers, but with this Bravia Theater system its on a a whole new level!
In the box you get the soundbar, subwoofer, two rear speakers, and everything else needed to get set up. Set up was fairly easy connecting everything to my Bravia X950G. Took about 15 minutes to get up and going.
The sound from this set is phenomenal! I didnt expect such powerful sound from what might seem like smallish speakers. The bass is deep, accurate, and powerful. You can turn up the volume and get no distortion at all.
The mids and voices are very clear and combined with the bar it blew me away just how crisp everything is.
Surround is done extremely well here as well. Sounds seem to follow what is happening on screen and give you a great sense of immersion, almost like being there. Sony really knows how to get this right. I am more then happy with it “only” being 5.1. 7.1 is great and all, but for the room this is in Im not sure how that would work out.
I have a ton of blurays I recently found that I had forgotten I had. I am really looking forward to rewatching them now with proper sound. Overall I couldnt be more happy with this system. It has made me fall in love with my Bravia TV again. If you are looking at getting a 5.1 soundbar system you should really give this one a shot. Whether you have a Bravia TV or not this will definitely raise your TV and music experience. Couldnt recommend more!

I bought this TV after comparing several TVs at my local Best Buy store, and was a little hesitant since there were no reviews of it online yet since it is brand new. But after comparing a few options, I decided on this one and am so glad I did. The picture quality is outstanding, and I would say it is on par with some others that are quite a bit more expensive. The sound quality seems good as well. It has three HDMI inputs as well as a USB input (in addition to the other standard inputs), which is nice since some in this price range had fewer inputs. It was really easy to set up, and I'm very happy that I purchased this TV. The only negative at all is if you need more details from the user guide, the included set up instructions refer you to go online to the Sharp website, but this TV is so new that the user guide is not yet online. That wasn't a major problem since set up was really easy and settings are very straight forward. I would definitely buy this TV again if I was looking for another and recommend it to anybody.

Hello. Im still trying to get a new set after our huge earthquake in Napa, Ca. My nice 50" Samsung plasma bit the bullet. Ive been trying to find one that has a PC input since I use it to attach my laptop as well as others. And it seems like its so rare to see a pc input as well as more than 2 HDMI. And I see that this set has both.Still happy with it?

I purchased this laptop a few days ago and man do I love it. This computer has everything I was looking for in a laptop (expect for an SSD) however I felt I could live without it considering the price for this machine. I have never owned an Acer always HP, had it for 7 years and it was time for an upgrade. I do really like this laptop fast, beautiful design and enough ports not to mention the PRICE again you wont be disappointed.

When I started TV shopping I did a lot of research and at first bought the 55” KS8000. I liked that but when the KS9000 went on sale I exchanged it for that. One of the main reasons I went with the 9000 was the design (mainly the stand). On the 55” version of the 8000 the legs are about 44” apart. My stand that I have been using for years for several TV's is only 42” wide. So I had to use a large piece of wood on top of my stand just to be able to set up the 8000. This didnt really look all that great, and I didnt want to have to replace my stand with a wider one. And thankfully the 9000 has a more standard V shaped stand that fits and works great on my TV stand.
And the 9000 also has some improved specs and also looks better in my opinion. I didnt really like the glossy back of the 8000. Anyway I really love this TV. Ive had several Samsungs, and my last set was the JU7100. But decided it was time to upgrade. I dont really miss the lack of 3D because I think I literally only used it once on my 7100 to test it. And I do believe 3D is on its way to being extinct. Anyway the new thing now of course is HDR. And the KS9000 really takes advantage of that. It simply looks amazing. There are several Netflix shows that show what HDR is all about. And I also recently bought the new XBOX ONE S. Ive yet to buy an HDR Bluray, but I will soon. But as I mentioned there is plenty of HDR on Netflix and Amazon Video in the meantime.
One of the really cool new features this years Samsung TV's has its the new Tizen system. It is much more simple and streamlined this year. My favorite feature so far is how well the TV detects whatever device you are connecting and names it accordingly. I have a PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE, 360, and a PC laptop all connected to my TV. And it names them all without me having to do anything. The PS3 and PS4 are both automatically labeled as “Playstation”. And the XBOX One and 360 are both labeled by their full names each. I didnt have to type out names like I have before when customizing my input names. As you can tell I have a lot of things connected to my TV. And since it has 4 HDMI ports I use 2 HDMI 3 way splitters. They automatically switch to whatever source is powered on. So my system is set up like this:
HDMI 1 = Direct TV
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4

The reason I am listing these all out is because I want to add how smart this TV is. It switches the settings, input name, and device type on HDMI 4 on its own depending on whichever one is powered on. And I have different settings for PC and the Wii U and 360. I use to have to manually switch the input type every time I went from one to the other. But when I power off a device it automatically switches all the settings and input types on its own.
Of course a review of a TV without talking about picture quality isnt complete so here we go. Simply put its amazing. The colors and picture are awesome. It also has very good motion handling, especially if you set Auto Motion plus to Auto. But this gives you the dreaded SOE (Soap Opera Effect). Which I really dont care for. So I use a custom setting for Auto Motion (Blur 3, Judder 3, and LED Clear Off). This gives it very good motion handling with very little SOE.
As you read above I am a gamer. And one of the main things I look for when TV shopping is the input lag (or lack thereof). And this is one of the best TV's released this year for low input lag. In Game mode the lag is only 20.5 ms. This is great, I dont notice any lag at all. I was also thinking of getting the Sony X930D but decided not to for a few reasons, one of those is that it has about 54ms of lag. This isnt terrible, but would be noticeable in my opinion.
The other main reason I went with the Samsung over the Sony is that I am still not sold on the Android Smart platform. I tested it on a 2015 Sony and it was just too buggy. I have read it is better this year, but in my opinion the new Tizen is much better.
Another thing I look for in TV's is a good USB media player for videos on hard drives. And Im happy to say that the Samsung recognizes and plays every single file type I have tested. It also has SRT subtitle support.
So overall I am very happy with this TV. It is by far the nicest set I have ever owned and I look forward to years of use with it. If you are looking for a new HDR 4K TV this should be on the top of your list. If you want a cheaper alternative go with the KS8000. Just be aware on the 55” version of the 44” wide legs. On the larger versions the 8000 has optional closer leg mounts, but for some reason Samsung did not do this on the 55” version. Anyway thanks for reading. The one issue I am having is that the source list and its icons go blank every couple days, sometimes more. This is a known issue and apparently Samsung is looking into it. As a work around you can hold down the power button on the remote to force it to reboot. This brings the source list back, but its still an issue. Its only the upper source list, the lower one doesnt go away. If you own the set you'll know what I mean by the upper one. Thankfully this is an issue that can be fixed via firmware update, but as of 1131 (9-23-16) it still happens. If it gets fixed Ill try to update my review.

Battery question

I know these have better battery life than the previous gens but have you had them actually run out on you? I have 2 sets of Gen 2's now that I just swap out when one headset dies and then start charging it. I use my A50's for all my TV audio not just gaming so they run out after about 5 hours or so, so Im hoping that the Gen 3's will always have enough battery to get through the day as long as I set them back on the charger when not using them. Thanks

I have owned A40s and currently own a pair of last gen A50s. The new A50s make a lot of great improvements over last gen. No chat cable is great and the docking station acts as an external sound card for the PC and does not require an optical cable for full 7.1 which is awesome. Audio quality seems to be better that the old A50s. I would occasionally get some low buzzing noise in the old model but the new ones are crisp and have no such issues so far. Battery life is significantly improved and the auto shut off is a welcome addition(the headset senses that it has been put down and shuts off after 15 seconds. Once it senses it have been moved it turns right back on. Usually the audio is already coming in by the time I put it on my head). Build quality is super solid. Expensive but they sound great and are a quality product. I am not wild about the color scheme but I can deal with it.

Looking to replace comcast modem want to buy a compatible modem
I also had to replace my comcast modem and have tried 2 different brands since then. This first one I got was a Zoom, and then later bought a Motorola. Ive had less issues with the Motorola. But Im not sure if they carry that same model. Its been a couple years. Depends on what you want to pay. I see the Motorola SB6121 is only 69.99 right now and has excellent reviews.

It depends on the phone, but they usually go into a folder on the internal memory sd card. Its called DCIM/ Camera.

NO, you dont need 2 modems. All you need is 1 modem, and a wireless router. Then set up the wireless on the router, then any device that has internet can connect to the router by searching for wireless and entering your password.
