Good bass good and good highs and great dynamics I tried the BW 600 series but found these have a way better bass response and fills the room more because it has a top bass reflector speaker on top makes it feel like the band is in your room and also these speakers get better as you break them in it takes about 7 days I am very happy with them and you will be too.

Very good receiver with plenty of good solid power and the sound reproduction on this is amazing I'm using it strictly for music a turntable audio technica LP-120 and Definitive Technology - StudioMonitor 55 6-1/2" Bookshelf Speakers I tried the BW. speakers 600 series they are very good speakers if you are listening to classical and jazz but for me the DTs pack more of a punch all around bass n treble and more dynamics especially when listening to hard rock and progressive jazz vocals are very clear and instruments jump right out of the speakers for a very live sound I suggest you go to your nearest BB and listen to this receiver you will not go wrong, I'm very happy with my purchase and I want to thank my salesman Nicholas at jersey city BB.
