WOW! Just WOW!

This thing looks like it is out of Star Trek. The display is flat and completely back lit. Regardless, the controls are flawless and perfectly responsive.
The base is heavy and will definitely not move while blending. It is quite a bit quieter than most blenders around, but it is still loud enough to drown out a conversation.
My only gripe with the unit, the pitcher/mixing container is a fairly thin, light plastic. With the rest of the build, I expected this to be glass and thicker. It seems like it will hold up well, but an unexpected build choice.
I do not see myself playing the home version of "Will it blend?" with this Blendtec. But that is a good thing. It definitely has the power to shred the most unusual items I have, I'm looking at you Yani autobiography.
Anyhow, I can see why these are the premium blenders on the market. It is well earned title.

This is a hard set to review. There is so much good, it is hard to rate it low. I will simply bullet point the good and bad. You decide if I should have rated higher or lower.
Good:
- Very comfortable for behind the ear hooks, even if you wear glasses.
- 6 ear cups to choose from.
- Up to 30 hours listening time with recharges from the carry case.
- The charger doubles as a external battery for phone or other devices.
- Cord designed into the case/charger.
- They can get quite loud, even in loud environments they will drown out the background.

Bad:
- When opening the case, the left ear piece is on the right and the right is on the left. Just reversing the opening of the case would have fixed this.
- Pairing is unnatural. You pair the ear piece closest to the side you carry your phone. Then pair the second earpiece with the first. Very clunky.
- The reason to pair on the side you carry, the range is almost non-existent. If I walk 6 feet from my phone, it starts "skipping" or "jittering" as I lose connection.
- The case is big. If your pants are tight, it isn't fitting in a pocket.
- Sound is quite flat. Highs not there and very little bass.
- Have to remove power cord to charge the case.
- Controls are not very intuitive.
- Sweat proof, but not water/dust proof. IP 54 rating.
- If you charge these while damp, you void warranty.
- The two ears pieces would disconnect from each other, so I could only hear thru one of them (The pairing earpiece).

The only thing I can say, I really wanted to like them. I may have just got a bad set. I would not recommend for anyone who is working out and sweats, unless you don't worry about warranty's.
If the sound was better, I would have at least given it a 3. If these were just a bad set, I feel bad about the rating. If this is the normal sound. These are not for audiofiles.

Always Come Back, One Issue

There simply is not a better video editing software. I have tried many others, and always come back to Adobe.
Unlike Photoshop, the learning curve is pretty short. My son sat down and just knew what to do. He had never used the software before. He is 15, pretty sharp, but figured it out with no help from me within a few minutes.
Now for the reason to drop a star. The disk gave read errors. We had to download the program from the Adobe site.

Great Quality Design, Minor Drawbacks

If you have ever used a Plantronics earpiece, with the loop ear cup, this is the same feel. For me, I don't usually find these looped ear cups to be comfortable, but these are softer that the ones I have used in the past. Not as comfortable as some ear cups, but my son thinks they are great.
Sound is absolutely great. Very full and no distortion. The mic is fantastic, as you would expect from Plantronics.
The neck strap/cord that connects the two ear pieces is a braided cord. I was concerned this would be heavy or uncomfortable, the cord was barely noticeable.
Now to why I dropped a star. Battery life. It is shorter than any wireless earbuds I have ever used. They claim up to 5 hours of battery. I ran it down in 4 multiple times. Others I have use have much longer battery life, but at a higher cost.
I would definitely recommend these, with the warning about the battery life and if you like Plantronics ear cups.

One of the best security cameras.

There is next to no delay in the wake function. I have tried other cameras that had such a long wake delay whenever motion was detected, the culprit had already left the shot. Not with Arlo. Almost an instant wake.
The images are clear and quite sharp.
Mounting is as easy as one screw. It has a really strong magnetic attachment to the mounting base. This also allows for easy access for recharge or adjusting the cameras angle.
The one meh I have, the speaker is not quite intercom level. There is about a 3 second lag when speaking thru the camera app. I am sure a firmware update could address the lag.
Overall, this is a really solid security camera setup. There is a base unit that connects to your router. I have not played too much with the base, but there are usb ports, rj45 port and a power port on it. I am assuming the usb can be used for disk storage. But I have not dug that deep yet. I do not see anything in the manual about them so I will have to dig thru the web site.

Installation is easy, check out the Honeywell video for install on YouTube. I was fortunate to replace a similar sized Honeywell with this one. Pretty much everything lined up identically. Keep a pencil handy, two would be best. One you can use to hold the wires so they don't fall inside the wall.
The setup and interface could not be easier to navigate.
Still in the process of it learning, but being able to control thru Google Home is great. I have a few IFTTT commands set up to do our normal adjustments.
I'll try and post some follow ups after a couple weeks of learning by the thermostat.

Dang, this is a beautiful speaker. The clock glowing thru the speaker grate is mesmerizing. Sony really outdid itself with this speaker/assistant.
The sound quality is just what you would expect from Sony, if you like the normal tone of a Sony speaker, you will love this one. It really can fill the room with sound.
The chrome ring around the base makes it look elegant. i can't get past how good this looks.
Pairing over Bluetooth is simple thru the Google Home app. Integration, even if you already have another Google Home, is flawless.
Setup is thru the Google Home app. It is as easy as can be.
This takes Google Home to another level.
I am just floored by the rich sounds and the look of this thing.

Honestly, this is a great robo vac. I dropped a star due to customer support for their web page.
I have a few Ninja products and a couple Sharks. So I had a account for their site. As of August 27, they forced everyone to reset password.
Problem is, the reset failed. My account became locked.
I had to wait 24 hours to configure because no support person could unlock my account.
After that 24 hours... It took 30 seconds to configure and connect to WiFi.
The vac is great.
The setup is easy.
I only wish there were more controls in the app. I want to drive it.
A interesting thing. Rather than a invisible wall, which usually fail, this has a ribbon that is a physical barrier.
You can attach the ribbon barrier to a throw rug to move it where you want it.
The robot seems to be lower profile than another brand we had that got stuck under the entertainment center.
All in all, this is a really nice unit.

The install was simple as pie. Initial setup was simple of the hub.
The door sensor install was easy, used Velcro straps.
Programming the garage door was a fail, but not MyQ's fault. I blame Genie and the MyQ documentation.
The online documents said all Genie were compatible. This was wrong. I have a Genie 2028 that was manufactured in 2016.
After mounting everything and going thru the opener configuration, it did not work to open the door.
To the internet Robin!
After a quick Google search, I found forum posts saying anything made by Genie 2016 or later would not work. Years 1993-2015 should be safe.
I contacted customer support to verify. This is a true statement.
Right now I have a fancy garage door monitor that lets me know when the door is open and how long.
Before purchasing I would recommend contacting MyQ customer support to verify your opener is compatible.
The reason, Genie changed their communications so it will only work with their branded WiFi opener.
This would be great, my opener is the issue. But the documentation made me Mark this a 2 star.

Hard To Describe but Still Surprising

If you have ever used a micro trimmer, this feels like one on steroids.
You won't get a blade close shave, you shave against the grain. On your neck, this can be tricky if your hair lays in multiple directions.
The shave is closer than an electric razor.
It takes a bit of time to get use to shaving in reverse. Trimming feels normal. Shaving, not so much.
I would highly recommend using a cream or lotion, you get a little better shave due to the cream holding the hair upright.
DO NOT push hard against your skin, you will get a pretty harsh razor burn.
This works really well on longer hair, more than a days growth.
I am not sure how it will work on very coarse or thick hair. It seems like it will work pretty well.
I have yet to use the trimmer comb. It is well designed, but I like to keep my hair a little longer than it is designed for.
This is really great at trimming stray hairs, I am sure I will put a wedge in my beard by accident one day... But free form trimming is a challenge no matter what you use.
I would recommend with a warning about it not working well on flat laying hair.

Sound quality for these headphones are on par with their wired counterparts. Sound controls are inline and well placed for easy access.
The microphone performs much better than I expected, people I have talked to on the phone said I was clear and could not tell I was using a mic. The mic is built into the inline controls.
The ear pieces are quite comfortable and light. The base/receiver the ear tips extend from are rounded and smooth to avoid rubbing against your outer ear. As with most headphones you will get various sized options for ear size and comfort.
Inline controls are on the right hand side about 3 inches from the right headphone. The inline controls require some force to adjust volume, so you will not accidentally change volume. The power button, status lights and USB port are all on the right hand headpiece. All call controls, volume, etc are in the inline controller.
Battery life has been quite good. My initial usage points to about 12 hours battery life based on the Bose Connect app battery status, packaging claims 6 hours. There is built in battery savings for auto power off that can be adjusted in the app.
Speaking of the Bose Connect App, available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The app is very basic and straightforward on Android. Open the app, it will prompt for you to turn on the headphones. Pair. Done. The App is not required unless you plan on making setting changes, such as default voice prompt language or auto power down options.
My only concern is the USB port cover, it is rubber and feels well built, tight fit and strong, but I fear this could easily get broken off the headphoness.
Packaging includes the headphones, Bose headphone case, 12 inch standard micro USB cable, (1) large and (1) small replacement ear tips, manuals and warranty information.
In the included photos I have a US Quarter and a AA size battery for reference for the size of the buds.

Just a quick update: The App has been updated to include these headphones. Still very basic, but the App on Android will allow you to control which two devices the headphones are connected to. Obviously you would keep the phone connected to control switching, but the app will allow you to control which device the headphones. This makes an easy switch from laptop to tablet to work laptop, etc. This control is under the Bluetooth button after the headphones connect to the phone.

Is this machine safe to use on hardwood floors?
From my experience, yes. I would use the hardwood formula cleaner to be safe. Also, make sure there is no open areas that will allow moisture to seep in. Any hardwood floor is susceptible to water damage if there is a opening/gap between the slats.
