Learn more about MotorStorm Pacific Rift - PlayStation 3. (Flash demo) SynopsisThe first MotorStorm featured off-road mayhem through the stark, stunning Monument Valley desert scenery. MotorStorm Pacific Rift moves you from the barren desert to a lush tropical paradise in the Pacific Ocean, ripe for racing action through thick, murky swamps, nearly impenetrable jungle, massively towering peaks and puffing volcanoes. Although the scenery is gorgeous, it's not just a great view — nature is ready to take you out with thick undergrowth, rapid rivers, toxic volcanic clouds and dangerously sizzling lava pools. Can you maneuver around the natural dangers and enjoy the festival atmosphere, or will you succumb to the environment?Jump into the driver's seat and drive into the excitement of The Island, a brand-new and wholly different location for the festival. Enter free-play action to create your own race tickets and rip up the terrain in your own unique style. Split-screen play lets up to four players compete at once, or shred anything in your way in races for up to 16 players online. Stay upright through every twist and turn of MotorStorm Pacific Rift and find out if you really have the skills to punch, duck and ram and win.

Awesome but computer players cheat sometimes

I do love this game. It's better than the first MotorStorm in many ways. I recommend you get it. Having said that, I do want to complain about the computer players cheating later on in the game on the rank 8 tracks(highest difficulty). I was in the lead and took my shortcut and I was about a hundred yards from winning and all of a sudden a monster truck comes flying off of a jump and is going to land on me. I've seen them do this before so I moved way out of the way of where he was going to land on top of me, and yet he still managed to land squarely on top of me. Trust me, THEY CHEAT, but it's still a fun game.
What's great about it: feels pretty real and it's fun
What's not so great: computer players cheat

Enjoy the thrills of Fallout 3 along with five game add-on packs with this Game of the Year Edition. In the 200 years since the global atomic war of 2077, the surviving residents of the Capital Wasteland (formerly known as Washington, D.C.) have holed up in Vault 101, enjoying a life free from the dangers beyond. In the Vault, you are protected from the Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers and Super Mutants that prowl the Capital Wasteland. But now your father has defied the Overseer and left the Vault for reasons you don't know. You must find him and discover the truth before it is too late.Fallout 3 immerses you in an environment where the great monuments of the United States lie in ruin and danger lurks around every corner, and this special Game of the Year Edition brings the post-nuclear world even more vividly to life with the addition of all five game add-on packs. Super-deluxe HD graphics render the Wasteland in eye-popping detail, from the danger-filled offices and Metro tunnels of D.C. to the rotten flesh of a mutant's face. Choose from dozens of unique skills and perks to customize your character. Experience the post-apocalyptic world from either a 1st-person or 3rd-person perspective with the touch of a button. Inflict death and destruction through the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System, which allows you to pause time in combat, aim for specific body parts on your target and queue up attacks. In Fallout 3, you make the decisions that define you and that change the world. Continue the adventure in the five included add-on packs, including Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta.

THE BAD:
So I just got this game four days ago and I knew there were glitches and freezes but it happens more than I expected so save your game frequently. Day one: played it for 9 hours and after about seven, it froze up while in a firefight and had to shut off PS3 the hard way.
Day two: played for 6 hours and my V.A.T.S. glitched and got stuck but I could shut down game normally.
Day three: 2 hours and no problems.
Day four: played for 5 hours and while rushing a mutant, the game completely shut down and went back to the PS3 XMB.
Also it's unrealistic, like you can shoot someone with 3 shots to the head and they might still be alive and kicking, but it's an RPG so if you can look past that it's actually a plus.
The menu you use frequently could be a bit easier to navigate but it's not bad
THE GOOD:
I haven't liked RPGs since FF3 until now. This game is very fun. I love the way the mutants look and there's giant scorpions and stuff. You are in a wasteland which is the remains of Washington D.C. after a nuclear war. sometimes ammo is scarce. There are so many ways you can apply points so that you end up being skilled in different areas(like the way I've applied my points so far, I'm good with small guns, lockpicking and hacking computer terminals) and they also have these things called perks so each time you level up you get to pick one, for instance, I picked this one where sometiimes when you shoot enemies they explode when they die, but it also increases firepower by a bit. There's so much to this game, that I could never fully explain it to you. I'm sure there are still probably at least 50 hours of gameplay(I've heard you can do it in less time if you skip the nonessential quests). I'm sure I'll play it through once more after I beat it but create a completely different character with different skills just to see what it's like. I'm very picky and if it wasn't for the glitches, I would give this game a 9.7 out of 10 AND IT"S GORY!!!! So just buy it already.
What's great about it: RPG with guns and mutants instead of magic and swords
What's not so great: Glitches, freezing up
