Works but not as they say.

Honestly, these sound good. Really good for the minimalist design and are also very comfortable and don't seem to fall out.
As far as the connection goes however, I have inquired with Sol Republic about whether or not these work with Apple Watch. According to them "they do". Well if anyone has tried to pair these with the watch they will immediately know there is little to no connection when the watch is also connected to an iPhone. I think there is an interference between the buds when the watch is sending and receiving BT signals to the iphone. This is eliminated by un-pairing but this is unacceptable. I shouldn't have to lose features of my watch because they don't know how to make them work together.
When paired with my iPhone the sound is good. I set the EQ to "small speakers" and it seems good on this setting. The "small speaker" setting takes into consideration very small drivers and keeps the treble less tinny sounding.
So far they are somewhere in the ok-good range overall.
Sound - Awesome. lows are good and I have yet to put the volume 100% because its plenty loud.
Design - Awesome. They're fairly streamlined and even with a hood on while running these don't get snagged like I thought they would. From time to time they do feel like they're working they're way out of my ears and have to be adjusted just a bit. I have a hard time believing this is not a characteristic of all buds.
Comfort - Sometimes I can't even tell they're there.
Charging Case - meh doesn't always seat the buds properly and they have to be adjusted to charge. Also, they can be annoying to take out of the case from time to time and the ear tips get stuck. Lid to case doesn't stay completely closed and is flimsy.
Connectivity - not very consistent when taking them out of the case(they're supposed to auto connect)
I think they are priced a bit high but not by much. I probably would be ok with the price as is if the connection was "as described" and didn't require me to disconnect my iPhone to get a good connection via my Apple Watch. In case you're wondering why I want this it is because I do HIIT while listening to music with my iPhone close by(within BT connected distance of my Apple Watch) but I sometimes get too distant from it and it will lose connection. I like the ability to use my watch as the source with my phone still able to update me in regard to texts or calls when I get back within BT range. For business purposes I need to be available all the time. Losing this aspect is a big inconvenience. For that I think they should be priced closer to where the AirPods.

The system is fine. I'm here to bash the fact that a little over a year ago I was forced to spend $500.00 to get the same system with no game. With a Kinect that I didn't want and do not even use. thanks Microsoft.

Returning to store ASAP.

Internet Connectable?Yes
Lets face it. These TV's are still beta but carry a premium price.
When purchasing a TV in the past I've always done my research(not this time#, and usually only buy a new set about once every 3 years. I used to own a Pioneer Kuro so you should know that I know what PQ is supposed to look like.
Anyway its a great TV. I love everything about it and really don't want to take it back to the store. But because it was built without the proper decoder, Its useless to me. I bought solely on the fact that it would have a 4k Netflix capability, It does not. I honestly didn't think it wouldn't be possible or that Sony would build a brand new outdated unit.
btw. Takes over a day to download a movie to watch#even with 50mbps+ internet speeds#(knew this before purchasing but still cant believe it)
Being as there is minimal info with 4k and UHD TV's there isn't much research that can be done. So I blame best buy and Sony for not presenting customers with proper info to make an educated decision.
Needless to say I love the upscaling. I put on House of Cards on Netflix and couldn't believe my eyes and it was only in native 1080.
Sadly, for the price I paid I cant justify not having the features I was looking forward to. I'm planning on returning and picking either a 4k that is capable of keeping up with the jones's or a larger#70"-75") 1080p set.
Sadly Sony has left its consumer's hanging
I knew 4K wasn't ready but this is pathetic.

Internet content most enjoyed: Netflix

Wanted to like them but couldn't!
By besttechie from Buffalo, NY
I have been on a quest to find the best truly wireless earbuds since apple delayed the Airpods. The Sol Republic Amps Air were my first stop.
The build quality of these was very good. They felt comfortable in my ear and held in very well while working out. Unfortunately that is all I can say that is positive for them.
I purchased and returned two pairs of these due to the same problem, the horrible sound quality. The best that I can describe it is it sounds as though you are listening to an old 45 record player while streaming music from your bluetooth device. The bass sounds solid, but anything in the upper octaves especially high in treble was just awful. It helped when you lowered the volume down past half way but you could still hear the "tin like whine" in the speakers. It almost sounds as though Sol amplified the sound so much that it is producing really bad distortion in the upper registers.
I really wanted to like these because they did fit very comfortably in my ears. But comfort was not enough to listen to how poorly they sounded. And it wasn't just an unlucky bad pair. Both pairs were equally as bad. I ended up purchasing Skybuds which sound 1000 times better. See my review for the charcoal color ones.
For these, stay away.

Hopefully you tried different sources. If you only used one source to push BT signal to these its possible its your device. I have these and haven't experienced what you're talking about. Lows are great highs are better. Treble is fine. Not sure how they deserve 1 star if the problem is on your end.

These aren't for everyone.
By tharris5344
These do not have multipoint bluetooth. If you are someone like me who wants to connect these to more than one device at a time you're out of luck. There's no way for these to be synced to your laptop and phone at the same time. And they WILL NOT sync with Apple Watch the ear-bud frequency is far too low.
The fit is terrible. I tried each sizing for these and they kept falling out. It seems like the sweat resistant coating makes them slip-out so easier. I could just be sitting down and they would fall out. I'm not a fitness person but I could imagine these being a nightmare for those who workout.
The treble, bass and EQ sound really good while they're snug. But if they start losing their grip they sound very cheap and high pitched. The only thing great about these is the charging case. If that's the biggest selling point for you, I wouldn't even bother.

I'm glad someone else tested them properly before giving a review.
Lets be honest, these are supposed to be for the fitness oriented person who seriously dislikes wires. I can't stand my cheapo wireless earbuds that connect with a wire between them. It bothers the heck out of me. But whats sad is they only cost me $25.00 and have a more consistent connection than these Sol republic P.O.S wireless tin cans.
I bought these to use completely free. Meaning I needed to use my apple watch without my phone and for that these are 100% useless and Sol Republic knows that this is a problem but they just don't care. Even if i get it connected while away or disconnected from my iPhone the connection only holds about 80% of the time meaning during every song it cuts out for 30+ seconds without fail. I swear they lose connection so well and so consistently that its as if they actually designed them this way on purpose.
at $90.00 these would be great. at $190 after tax these are just silly.

can the apple tv product be connected to a mac-or do you have to connect to a tv to get programming?

Im not sure I understand the question. For future reference you should elaborate a little bit further. However, the apple tv works and updates independently. You only need to plug it in to the tv/display and then follow the directions to get it hooked up with your internet connection. Either wirelessly or wired. The Apple TV is essentially a branch of what the macs and other apple devices are capable of when it comes to apps and air play mirroring and streaming. there is no reason you would ever plug it into your computer, unless you were trying reboot it.

How reliable are dual-band ac routers for wireless?

What kind of issues occur with these units in residential use?
They're all essentially "you get what you pay for". I've been through many and finally landed on the Apple Airport Extreme.

Why isn't the Samsung UN60F8000BFXZA a Magnolia product anymore?

The UN60ES8000 was and the current line UN65F8000 is, why?
Magnolia Only has a select number of displays at a time. Hence the Magnolia section of the store(considerably smaller).
