I paid an extra $200 for the third drawer. It is absolutely worthless. There is no room to put anything thicker than a rubber scraper but we can't put our rubber scrapers or anything else up there because the items will be filthier after the wash cycle than they started. For some reason, I don't know because my model doesn't have a window, food flies up to the top shelf and rests. I have to wash the dishes before I load them otherwise it will just splash food all over the dishes. I have resorted to laying everything flat instead of stacking side by side and it seems to work best at this point. I can't use the heated dry feature because it will cook onto the dishes the food it just splashed all over them. The ProScrub feature works well but that is only in one section of the washer. If my husband starts a load he will not remember to turn off the heated dry so when I unload it I'm thankful the majority of the caked on mess can be scraped off with a fingernail. I have to inspect every dish or utensil before putting anything away to make sure there is no soft food or caked on food depending on if the heated dry function was turned off or on. It is frustrating to pull a fork out of the drawer after missing something before I put it away. Of course because I missed it I have to wash two forks because it had to dirty the fork it was touching in the drawer. I chose this brand and model because it seemed sturdier than any of the other models and I have appreciated that to be true. When I pull a drawer out it stays on track loaded or empty. I do a load or 2 every day. I've been using the dishwasher for nearly two months.
