I've only had this controller for about 3 months and the wire housing against the controller split and exposed wires when coiling the USB wire around the device after each use. This is a durability fail.
After about 2 months of use, I noticed calluses forming on my middle finger knuckles. The shape of the controller is a problem for rubbing skin.
Otherwise this controller worked great. I however would NOT recommend it to a friend because for $40 ... I would expect a lot more from logitech.
What's great about it: very compatible with the game I play most; DC Universe Online
What's not so great: shape of controller rubs callus on knuckles, wire breaks easy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
