An Activity Tracker That Happens To Tell Time.

Nearly anything your into for staying active and fit there is an app available to help you track or trek to your exercise for the day.
And if there happens to not be an app you can possibly make one if your the least bit computer savvy.
Hiking, walking, PT, cycling, exercise equipment use, you name it this will be your companion to track your exercise or even your location with its built in GPS.
The GPS can track and record the path you took and you can drop breadcrumbs along the way to mark point of interest so that you know its coordinates for a return visit.
That would also be handy for marking a Geocaching location.
It had dual time zones and the watch face has several options you can scroll thru and select and change as the mood or current use would do better with.
I find the setting of it to be a bit cumbersome but that may improve as I become more accustomed to it.
I'm not a big fan of its proprietary clip on charging system.
Thats just another cord I need to pack along to charge the device when its needed.
This will never replace my watch for daily wear, but it will on an active weekend or evening for sure

All I hoped it would be and then some.

With this being in the price range of the upper end iPad I had very high expectations from The Google - Pixelbook 12.3" device, and so far it has not let me down.
It's not a high powered computer, its more of a tablet with a keyboard that you can use like a laptop or folded up like a tablet.
Checking email, Facebook and cruising the internet is a breeze for this delightful device.
The entire device has the look and feel of quality and setup is straightforward and easy.
The keyboard is very responsive and backlit , its screen is sharp and clear.
The screen is a touch screen that responds very well to touch and to the optional Pixel Pen we purchased.
The pen can be used for many onscreen functions as well as sketching and drawing with one of the several available apps from the Google App Store.
Apps are also available for many other chores like creating documents and such as well as a multitude of other functions for work and play.
It has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity for peripherals, but other than its dual sided power input port , a 3.5 headphone jack is the only other port. This device has no USB ports to use for input or connectivity.
Its speakers are meager but adequate for most things, just don't expect big rich sound from it.
For music listening I suggest the use of a bluetooth speaker or headphones or use the 3.5 jack and earbuds.
Its battery lasts up to 10 hours and its super light weight making it an excellent choice for daily carry use as well as travel.

Great For beginners and Pros Alike

From the simplest photo enhancing, slide shows and collages to in depth photo editing even in RAW mode Photoshop 2018 is a great choice.
Adobe has always made a great photo editing software and this is no exception.
Even if you have an older version, you owe it to yourself to take a look at this version and review the new features for your own uses and see what you think.
Its easy to install and navigate thru once you get the hang of it.
(Do yourself a favor and make sure to turn off your antivirus and startup programs while doing the installation and turn everything back on afterwards.
You must be logged into your Adobe Account and if you dont have one its free to create and you will be prompted to do so to complete the installation)
Some of those newer features include:
1.Auto Curate to find the best photos
2.Open closed eyes like magic
3. Replace Background
4.Overlay Effect
5. Double Exposure
6.Watercolor
7.Auto Selection— simply drag over a subject to select it
8.One-click dynamic slideshows of your curated photos and short video clips.

You Can Always Depend On Honeywell

This is but one of Honeywell's additions to the growing number of smart and Wi-Fi Thermostats that are on the market from various companies.
The installation was quick and easy, at least for me.
Just take a picture of the lugs on the current thermostats base so you know for sure what wire was in what letter terminal on your existing thermostat. (After turning off the power to the HVAC at the breaker box of at the system switch.)
Mine was wired as it should be with all wires on the same corresponding letter for the color of the insulation on the wire (Yellow on Y, Red on R, White on W, etc) but that may not be the same in all installations thats what the pic comes in handy.
Plenty of easy helpful installation guides and videos are online to help you if needed so I wont go into that with you.
Ill just say, its easy. If you can wire up a doorbell or install a smoke alarm you can do this.
If you dont feel you can call up a reputable local heating and cooling company and let them do it for you.
Either way in less than a half an hour you will be controlling your HVAC with the Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat and enjoying the convenience of making adjustments to the heat from the touch screen on the thermostat, you computer or tablet or your smartphone.
And that can be done from the convenience of your chair or bed or even from work or while on vacation.
Its both programmable and has the ability to learn your desires and habits to keep you comfortable all the time while it sames you money by adjusting the unit up or down when nobody is home or by the schedule you set from the unit or your computer or phone.
Its super easy to use and I wish we had one of these when I was laid up after surgery for a few weeks.
Then I could have adjusted the temp without going down the hall on my walker.
You could even put one in the home of a family member that has mobility issues to make adjusting the heat and ac easier for them or even do it for them from you home.
Its a great thing to have and dont overlook the possible rebate if you qualify and have a local utility offering one.

Good For An Electric Razor

The razor is very quiet and has two speeds to choose from.
It actually sounds kind of weak and sick compared to my Braun, but it still did a good job of cutting.
My first shave with this gave me the worst razor burn I have had in years.
I used it with shaving gel to see how that works for me and finished up with a sore neck from the burn.
A Braun Series 7 Electric has been my razor for years and didn't burn me like this did and I used the same pressure on the Phillips as I did the Braun.
My second shave I shaved dry, after the razor burn was nearly gone was much much better. This one takes a very light touch on your face.
Still, at least on my face, not as close as a blade but acceptable and there are a few places on my face ( that no electric has ever gotten) where I still need to use a blade to finish off.
Previous electrics including my Braun had a built in popup trimmer, but this one you have to remove the shaving head and put on the trimmer attachment. I dont really like that setup, it just give you more parts to keep up with and possibly misplace or lose.
The cleaning/charging base is straightforward and easy to use, but save yourself some frustration.
The power supply plugs into the bases back on an upwards angle, not straight in. I was convinced that the power supply did not fit the base and Phillips sent me another in only two days :) .
Then and only then with the base nearly turned upside down and with the aid of a flashlight did I discover that the one provided did fit, as well as the new, but on that upward angle.
For travel use,the razor can be charged directly from the power supply without using the base , however you cannot use the razor when it's plugged in.
It has to be unplugged and the battery at least partially charged in order to shave.

Chunk up what you want to chop into 2 inch or smaller pieces and the chopper will make short order of providing uniform size pieces for you.
Easily chops vegetables, nuts,cheese, chocolate etc and grinds small quantities of meats.
It has the drop and chop system as well as a regular chopping grinding blade.
When the pieces reach the optimum size they drop thru the holes in the inner basket into the collection area for your use.
All but the motorized part is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.
This will be a big timesaver for us with the upcoming preparation of many holiday dishes giving us less time in the kitchen and more time to enjoy the family :)

Sleek well thought out and manufactured photo and contacts backup for your iPhone with a built in 3 amp charger.
Plug the bases power supply into the wall with the included power supply and plug your iPhone into the base, download the free IXPAND app and your ready to go.
The only thing you must provide is the iPhone of course and a lightning cable to attach the phone to the base.
It used SD cards for storage of the photos and contacts and it includes (1) 64gb Sandisk Ultra SD card to which I backed up 1187 photos and 247 contacts in less than 5 minutes and only used 3.16gb on the card.
Its easy to pop the card out and put it in your computer to transfer the pics if you wish to do so as a redundant backup or to manage the card in a bigger format than doing it on the phone.
You will find the photos organized by years and then months within the year when looking with the PC at the card.
A separate folder for videos and another for contacts.
When you hook up to charge it will backup any new files that you have on the phone.

Much better than I anticipated

This is our third 4th Bose device.
We have a Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar, the Quiet Comfort 35 noise cancelling headphones, Bose Quiet Control 30 wireless headphones and now these little jewels.
I didn't see how two wireless earbuds could deliver sound and have a noise cancelling feature that was anywhere as good as the QC 35 headphones, but these are pretty darn close.
They deliver great sound, block out or greatly dampen most ambient noises and are very secure and comfortable in the ear.
I dont worry about them coming out and losing them at all.
Pairing is seamless with the Bose app and is automating after the first time.
Just take them out of the provided case that is also the charger for them and they automatically pair, at least for my iPhone.
I did my usual thing and listened to a wide variety of music and equalizer settings before forming my opinion on them.
Bach and Beethoven, Guns and Roses, The Beatles, Sheryl Crow and Bruno Mars all sounded equally fantastic.
Two hours to charge up from dead and a 5 hour playtime from that charge.
the Bose app can be used to locate lost earbuds if that were to happen and you can take and make calls thru the integrated microphone in the earbud like a jawbone works that allows a clear conversation even with surrounding noise
I'm very pleased with everything about these.

Setup Could not be simpler.
Hook it up to an ethernet port on your router, plug it into the electric and put the app on your phone set up an online account, thats it! (You can give other family members or colleagues or friends access or their own little space to if you desire)
You can start backing up from your phone now and while that happening you can log into the same account on you computer and start backing it up as well. They do have a few apps you can put on the computer but you can do that after you start the backup.
We got the 4TB model and it should be more than enough for many years.
Its a compact device, about twice as big as our Motorola Surfboard Modem.
Transfer speed was rather fast, but of course that depends on your router and your devices WiFi connection speeds.
Really economical and high quality from Wester Digital.
Since you can upload and download from anywhere its like having your own personal server or cloud.

Easiest To Setup Printer I have Owned

Basically
1.Unpack it
2.Plug it in
3. Put in the Included Ink Cartridges
4 go to 123.hp.com and install the app on your computer or smartphone and follow the prompts to complete both initial setup and WiFi network setup. (Ethernet as well as a standard printer cable are options if your not wireless ready, but no cable is provided for either)
Its a great deal faster than my 4 year old Kodak and relatively quiet as well.
Both the photo quality on photo paper as well as maps and text printed on regular paper are of excellent quality and clarity.
Easy to wirelessly print from both my iphone and laptop.
Scans are fast and crisp and clear.
I didn't test the fax capabilities as I have no need to fax, but I would expect equally as good performance as the rest of the printers features
The app is a must if you make the error I did on the printer itself in the initial setup.
I selected spanish as the language for the printer by mistake and there was no way to reset it that I could find.
I had to guess what it the printer was telling me until I went thru the standard expected things that go along with a printer setup and then and only then did the app allow me to select English for the printer's language.
Once that was done, the touch screen control pad on the printer updated to english and all was well.

Its a great deal faster than my 4 year old Kodak and relatively quiet as well.
Both the photo quality on photo paper as well as maps and text printed on regular paper are of excellent quality and clarity.
Easy to wirelessly print from both my iphone and laptop.
Scans are fast and crisp and clear.
I didn't test the fax capabilities as I have no need to fax, but I would expect equally as good performance as the rest of the printers features
The app is a must if you make the error I did on the printer itself in the initial setup.
I selected spanish as the language for the printer by mistake and there was no way to reset it that I could find.
I had to guess what it the printer was telling me until I went thru the standard expected things that go along with a printer setup and then and only then did the app allow me to select English for the printer's language.
Once that was done, the touch screen control pad on the printer updated to english and all was well.

Really great case,Except... the strap to secure the laptop is useless unkess your laptop is 6" thick. there is no adjustment. Laptop slides all over. It goes back to store today.

We love our big screen HD Smart TV mounted on the wall but have never been happy with all the sound blasting out of the back of the TV.
It would bounce off the wall and deafen anyone in the kitchen, but where my wife would sit in the living room she couldn't hear the voices unless it was sky high, and it would blast me out of the room.
If your looking for a theater surround sound, look further.
But if your looking for a very high quality compact soundbar with excellent sound at a very reasonable price I highly recommend the Bose Solo 5.

Sound was cutting out, but found the problem

Sound would frequently cut out completely for a second or two. I mean 20 time or so in a one hour show.
The issue was an audio output setting on my Vizio TV.
It had been set to bitstream.
I did a little online research and switched that output to PCM and the issue is history.
No more cutting out.

It sets up a 5ghz band dedicated to communication with your current router and then sends out its own 5ghz and a 2.4 ghz band of its own.
Its three antennas and 12 repeaters ensure its putting out an equally as good signal as the router is. It looks like an antenna router itself and expands the coverage of your wifi to a potential 12,000 foot area that for most will include at least the immediate area outside. (Yard, porches and driveway).
Of course exact coverage limits will be more restricted by obstructions than this repeater or your router.

I did the setup from my iPhone following the instructions provided and the on screen prompts.
From the time I went to the link in the instructions with my iphone until I had the repeater online and broadcasting was only 5 minutes or so.
Never have I been able to put anything on a wifi network and have it up and running so quickly and easily.

Everything about these screams quality and perfection.
From the quality machined metal parts to the premium cowhide headband and lambskin ear pieces to the cloth covered cords and canvas cases, the look and feel of quality is in every component.
There is also a round leather covered box to keep the cables in if you desire.
Even the box they come in is classy and very durable.
As for the sound, Everything from Classical Symphony to AC/DC with a stop in the country genre is what I used to put these thru the paces and they didn't fail me anywhere.
Every note in every range of all the music was crisp and clear as well as excellent quality on all vocalization.
No disruption or breakup of the bluetooth signal even when I walked into two adjacent rooms and the signal had to go through two walls, the sounds remained impeckable.
I have claimed these at my house for me at our house and I'll be very selective of letting anyone who is not old enough to appreciate such a fine article near them.
We also have a pair of Bose Noise Canceling Headphones and in the respect of noise cancellation, the Master and Dynamic set equal or exceed the Bose.
These are a pricy selection, but it will be money well spent if you appreciate music and want to own a set of headphones you will be proud to own and show off.

It had me at Pulled Pork :)
I did a 2.5 pound pork roast and followed the recipe for root beer pulled pork for an electric pressure/multi cooker and it turned out great, and was ready to eat in 45 minutes.
We did add a little bottled BBQ sauce to the sandwiches as we made them to get them to that just the way we like em point ;)
The meat was fully cooked, tender and separated easily with two dinner forks.
Clean up was super easy as it was all done in the stainless steel inner pot.
We bought the Instant Pot IP-DUO60 which is a 7-in-1 programmable cooker that is supposed to speed up cooking by 2~6 times and use up to 70% less energy. The inner stainless steel cooking pot is made very well with a super heavy duty metal. The entire unit feels like its components are equally well made.
It's really easy to use and has 10 safety features making it less frightening to the beginner using a pressure cooker.
Since it is also a steamer,canner, you can saute in it, a yogurt maker, rice cooker and warmer, I wouldn't say I will use it every evening but I can see me using it a lot.
I was hesitant to buy one, seeing it as another kitchen appliance gadget that I would end up sitting on a shelf in the basement, but after just using it once I can pretty much say that is not likely to happen :)

I have mine set to a lower level that masks the disturbing noises yet I could her a smoke alarm or intrusion alarm, by phone ring or even my wife speaking to me if she speaks up just a bit.
But if you set them at a high level your not going to hear much of anything at all, and that is not safe IMHO and rather unnerving.
The lower levels are fantastic
