My son recommended this scanner...and it works great...I already had an Epson printer that I love...so it was a name brand that I trusted...and in today's world...scanners are a must have product...and as always...I love shopping at Best Buy for new products...

It took me a long time to read the 4 pages of instructions (pages size "10" X 14 1/2")just to set the complicated settings. This was NOT an easy task. Nothing is simple or easy with setting the settings. Too many steps just to change "one" thing. And every time that you make "one" change to the settings the back screen goes blank and you have to wait several minutes before you can continue to program any of the settings. The instructions says, [quote] "after a while" and after several minutes of waiting it still doesn't happen. In the end, I couldn't get the month, day, year to stay on the back screen. I couldn't get the alarm to stay on the back screen. This clock radio needs to be redesigned with easier to use friendly functions.

The headset is rigid. We returned it and bought the LG Tone Ultra instead. Nothing else wrong with these, just wanted a headset that was lighter and flexible.

Important Notice about the LG TONE ULTRA
March 8, 2015
If you have long hair the rubber wires on the LG TONE ULTRA will get tangled in your hair on the back side of the neck area and cause it to hurt when pulled....The LG TONE INFINIM has retractable wires on the front side of the neck and WILL NOT get tangled in the hair and cause it to pull and hurt...I have tried both and bought and kept the LG TONE INFINIM...I have long shoulder length hair...

How do I change the time system from 12 hour to 24 hour?
According to the instruction sheet, you have to set that up first...and it only gives you 65 seconds to make the corrections...This clock/radio is hard to set...I got the "lemon" clock/radio where nothing is as it appears on the display..

I have a problem setting the clock to wake me to the radio mode. How do I set it?
Good luck finding your answer...I happen to have bought a "lemon" and it doesn't do what the instructions says either...

When in buzzer mode, how is the volume of the alarm adjusted?
Adjusting volume of radio is easy, but we have not found any instructions about changing the buzzer alarm volume except to say that it can be changed! There is no apparent selection that we can find when channeling through the settings.
I believe this is an error in the design of this clock/radio...I couldn't find any answer to this in the length instructions...I am in complete agreement with the comment from the other person about this problem...Sony needs to redesign this clock/radio and make sure their instructions match up with the workings of this clock/radio...If anyone else has one that works right, then the rest of us must have the "lemons".

Facing the front of the clock/radio...The front display is very tiny at only 1" tall X 4 1/4" long...this display is setting inside the 2 1/4" tall X 7 1/2" long front of the clock/radio...
