Great Sound

I purchased these to pair with my new Amazon Echo Dot. After setting them up and adjusting the sub-woofer volume level, I listened to several "audiophile" tracks, as well as my favorite songs, both quiet and loud. Sound quality was excellent.
The mid range is a little too low, but I tend to lower mid range levels anyway, so it works well for me.
The sound quality is excellent in nearly every song I tested. For the money (I paid $149), these speakers really rock at all volume levels.
Some tips:
1. Don't turn the subwoofer volume level up too high, or you will get sloppy boomy bass. Keep it about 1/4 turn up.
2. If you purchase these for your Echo Dot, you'll need a 3.5mm extension for the audio cable, because the built in cable is too thick to fully fit into the Echo Dot jack.
3. If you are going to listen a very low volume levels, increase the subwoofer volume a bit.
