Impressive

I like the Microsoft phone OS and I had hoped they would be serious about smart phones, but after plodding along with my MS 950 for a year and a half, I gave up and made the leap to Android and the Samsung S8. Wow what a difference. This is one impressive phone. I had pre-ordered it and have had it several days now. Everything worked right out of the box. It is quick on all fronts...OS, connectivity, battery charging. A great display and easily customizable organization. And the battery easily lasts a full day with decent usage. So far I am very happy with it. The only complaint is that I feel I have to put a case on it. While it is a great form-factor, the back is slippery and video tests on YouTube show it to be breakable if dropped. The case hides the beauty and feel of the body. Oh well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great Laptop!

Bought this primarily for use during casual travel and random use around the house. I really love it. The display is absolutely stunning. (Some users have complained about the yellow colors being off....I found the Lenovo bios update worked ok and my photo's certainly have excellent color. I also shut off the auto lighting adjust so it stays the brightness's I set for battery and powered use.) It is very slim and light, so easy to carry. Excellent backlit keyboard. Very fast to start up and to run. And I love the way you can reconfigure it to use as a laptop, a tablet, or a tent, with the display rotating accordingly. It also has good battery life. While it is not cheap, for these specs, the best display I've seen, and the configurability, it is well worth it, I think. I certainly recommend it.
What's great about it: Display, functionality, performance, ease
What's not so great: Nothing significant
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Product

I have used this range extender for a few days now, and it does a great job....exactly what it promises. It took only a few minutes to set up...no CD to load, just push a couple of WPS buttons. Plus it works great. I have a 3500 sq. ft house and my wireless router is up on the second floor at the far end of the house. I put the extender on the lower floor at the opposite end of the house. Signal strenth all over the house is now excellent...over double the what it was before...and that includes in the room right next to the router!!! WOW! Also, I see one review cautioned about the impact the extender had on speed. I tested that and found it almost double the download speed and had no effect on the upload speed. Not as good as a direct connection, but much better than it was.
The only weakness is it only operates at 2.4GHz, so it is not a dual band device....but it does not claim to be so I don't hold that against it. (As an aside, I was told the Apple Airport Express could be set up to use as a dual band range extender. After a couple of hours trying, I gave up. I fear it only works with Apple routers. Plus it costs 50% more.)
What's great about it: Easy to set up, greatly increases signal strength and download speed.
What's not so great: Would have liked it to be dual band, but it does not claim to be and I can live without that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

wi-fi sketchy at best
By Groove
From the minute I took it out off the box, it couldn't stay connected to register. Lenovo, geek squad, my work tech guys can't fix it. Usually can't stay connected for more than 5 minutes at a time before it can't load a page. Tried multiple different wi-fi locations and my old laptop was right beside it surfing the web on the same wi-fi with no problem. Very frustrating. I was expecting a fast experience but only got delay after delay and had a very unproductive week dealing with this. Returning it tomorrow. Search web...thousands of pages with same problem.

Can't Recommend This Product or Lenovo
December 11, 2014
This product was fine the first few months, then the screen started to flicker. After hours of phone calls with Lenovo tech support, the told me to send it to their tech support. They replaced the display, and sent it back with a new password which they refused to give to me. I therefore had to do a system restore to the original sale condition, and reload all the Windows updates. It was immediately clear that the screen still flicker (less), but now the wireless would not connect to the internet despite connecting to the router. This laptop is known for having a weak wifi connection, but this is worse. I tried installing some of the new drivers on their support site, but nothing worked. They have taken it back now again and told me they will only test it with the original software...not their own new drivers, or Windows updates. Why do I think I'm still going to have a problem? I cannot recommend Lenovo products due to lousy reliability and terrible support.
