Good Product at a fair price when its on sale.Great storage.Only problems ive saw is it dents easy on the sides so be careful when moving it and the ice maker is a smaller design but decent.

What's the difference between RF260BEAESR and RF261BEAESR?
Both the Samsung models RF260BEAESR and RF261BEAESR seem to have the same specs. Kindly clarify the difference (apart from price).
the only difference I know of is a water dispenser inside on the left of the rf261,the rf260 does not have it.(I have the rf260,and I looked at both models).

How do I know if the ice maker is on?
The manual is not clear to me on this.
When I push the Ice Off button, I hear an ascending chime, and an icon illuminates. When I push the Ice Off button again, I hear a descending chime, and the icon extinguishes. Which state (icon lit or off) indicates that the ice maker is on?

I had similar issues wondering if was working.If the icon is lit its off.The ice maker is somewhat slow.There is a test button the very bottom of it if you want to test it.

How much clearance/space must be left around this refrigerator (top, each side, and behind)?
I saw in the manual something about 2 inches atleast on the back.

lock function , what is it
our new Samsung refrigerator RF260B has a lock device located between the crispers, no where in the manual does it describe this function as to how to use it or what it locks. Any hints?
The lock mechanism you see is the end of the water filter.Its about 8 inches long or so.Make sure its locked in or it will probably leak water.
