McAfee Mobile Security is great for protecting PCs. It gives virus protection, ID protection, tracker remover, and more. Used on many of my PCs for the time being letting you do real-time scans and create's firewalls. Does the standard job of scheduled scans for Windows 11. Comes with a year of protection without worry. The app is easy to navigate with clear and bold directions to what each feature does. McAfee Protection Center allows you to check and see how safe you are online. Find weak spots in security to take them out.
McAfee also supports iOS, Android, and Chrome devices. So no matter what you get it on it should work fine. There are other basic security PC apps out there but McAfee has been around for a while and take the PC protection business seriously. So far its been placed on 3 of my devices including a laptop for a friend. QR code provided can give you quick acces to the devices you use. Random notifcations are annoying but can be turned off. There are ways and tips on feedback to help you imporve security.

Great for Music, Mic isn't so good.

The earbuds are really good with music, but call quality is suffering with this product. The bass is punchy and so has clarity with vocals. One of the best features here is their noise canceling feature, which really knocks out the sound around you and is also a feature you should be careful using in an urban environment.
They are nicely designed and fit comfortably inside the air moving your head around, doesn’t shake them out. The packaging is nice giving you a very quick guide with a QR code to download the app. They feel premium enough to where they hold. A good drop on the ground. Wireless charging was also nice to have just put on the dock and chargers at a quick rate. Works with iOS, Android, and Alexa with no issues.
Using them at the gym was OK but I would not recommend these for heavy sports activities. Though they are nice for using cycling around the city. I did get the 7 hours of playback from the music. Technics did a really nice job of making the earbud experience pleasant. The earbuds case isn’t super pocketable and feels very uncomfortable in shorts or pants. At this price point, I’m sure you can find a good deal on the earbuds, but these are premium enough no less.

HyperX Cloud III are great headphones with a long mic for gaming. Nice and soft padding long the headband, it’s extremely comfortable to have on for long periods of time. Wire is long enough to use on any gaming devices with a headphone jack. Works with PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox X|S, and mobile devices. In the box is a quick start guide to easily get started and an accessory box with all the cords to connect to the headphones.
Headband foam feels nice with a metal durable frame and feels like it can be stretched out. Moving my head around didn’t make the HyperX Cloud III move around much. Red and black goes rest with any gaming setup. These gaming headphones sounds nice but volume is a bit low. Other teammates can hear me clear though the microphone while talking. I enjoyed using them on the PS5 most of the time and they were good using it on media such as movies and streaming music.
Comes with 2 year warranty and firmware updates for longevity. Overall; they are nice headphones to use for gaming and sounds good if you want a full rich sounding experience. I do recommend.

Predator Helios Neo is a soild choice for gaming.

Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 is a good laptop with 1080p gaming. It has its shortcomings but overall the 3D graphics are nice on the large 16-inch screen Which is pretty useful for powerful programs. If you just want a great PC gaming and streaming device, This is a machine to own Helios Neo 16 is the perfect middle ground.
The design is nice and ACER came a long way from many years ago, I like the look and feel of the laptop. The issue with this design is the weight and that's a very big factor if you use this thing on the go. This isn't a laptop I would be moving around too much and with the included power brick; Helios is insane to carry at that point I would bump up to a higher screen size model if I had the extra money. This screen doesn't get that bright with 400 nits, I really wish the screen just was a little bit brighter.
That doesn't take away from the wonderful 16-screen size. Gaming on the 165 hz screen was awesome to experience. Using NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 everything ran great with DLSS 3.0 supported games boosting framerates at their highest and supports RT games. 16GB of RAM is enough for modern AAA titles.
Gaming on the device is fun and gave a great experience to the end user. There was nothing like playing Diablo 4 and Genshin Impact was smooth that's what mattered to me. Fortnite ran great on high settings. Predator Helios Neo 16 is wonderful but I would add more storage in the future, 512GB is just enough space for larger titles.
There is tons of connectivity here: 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x HDMI 2.1, 3x USB-A 3.2, headphone jack. Wi-Fi has been really fast as well. There is an annoying boot sound that offputting. You are able to turn this off in the predator sense which is a useful application. This allows you to put the laptop in different power profile modes for use cases. When plugged in this gives you the maximum amount of power for gaming. The fan noise was better than I even expect on laptops of this size. For me, Everything stayed cool while gaming.
I would suggest you update the PC immediately there is a ton of updates that are required. Webcam and sound are not good at all. The sound is very teeny. Helios can get loud enough but nothing to write about. The keyboard is a standard affair here while there is RGB and it feels good to type on there are other laptops with better-feeling keyboards; The finish does feel good to type on. The Trackpad is very large plus it doesn't feel cheap.
At the end of the day, the price point and what the Predator Helios Neo 16 can do is excellent. This is for gaming and it does gaming well. No complaints from me. If you keep your expectations in this price bracket you can't go wrong with this at all. This is a great gaming PC to give a friend or family member who is looking to get into it. Great for gaming, great for powerful apps, and screen is great. Laptop was able to keep cool. I would just get some gaming headphones with these due to the sound.

The ROG G16CH Gaming Desktop was super fun to use with every single modern AAA gaming that I threw at this. @1080p This PC ran perfectly giving framerates that were extremely pleasant. Not only it runs great, but it also looks very good in its design. The case design finally allows for airflow in the front. (You can also add extra fans / 360mm AIO if you desire.) The airflow was adequate and the machine kept cool when gaming. There is a handle on the back of the case that you can lift up so the desktop is very easy to move around when need to be.
As a PC gaming enthusiast; I was extremely happy using this as a gaming rig and this pre-built does come with room to upgrade more in the future. From adding your own GPU, Ram, fans, and more. You can at least see the ROG Strix logo on the front. It’s not much here to complain about. Opening the PC it was easy with the glass side panel and taking a look inside.
Design: The case looks nice enough and gives the gamer aesthetic with RGB strips in the front. It’s a black and bold tower and looks good when the lights are off as well. When powering on the large RGB strips, turn white and goes into the user colors. It does look awesome when it turns on but has an annoying sound when going into the boot screen. This thankfully can be turned off in “Armory Crate” software.

And that is an ample amount of ports for a desktop PC but greatly appreciated in a gaming PC with tons of accessories that use USB. I had no issues going into the BIOS of the desktop. Ram is finally dual channel and I have to give ROG props for doing this as many desktop manufacturers don’t, but it doesn’t include X.M.P. I don’t find this too much of an issue as you can just purchase your own for future upgrades but I do believe next year’s model should include it for gamers.
RGB strip is a nice touch and works flawlessly with “armory crate” software. And there is an 80 plus gold 500w power supply that looks to handle everything well. This version of the desktop is air-cooled and the air cooler handles heat well. As I said before there is room to upgrade to AIO. The case itself is an industrial type of design and also has a headphone stand built into the PC.
Gaming: Everything ran extremely fine at 1080p, which is probably what I would play this PC at for better frames. That’s not to say it doesn’t handle 1440p well, some games like Forza Horizon 5 I was getting 75 fps in and those types of games are more my variety anyway. Fan noise wasn’t a problem for me when using this machine; it also stayed silent atleast for the model I have.
But games like Cyberpunk 2077 were getting 50 fps which in my opinion is playable. Every other modern title ran just fine and I especially enjoyed Resident Evil 4 and Need for Speed: Unbound at smooth frames. Most games I play are not super intensive. I have not tried applications as my use case scenario for this machine is gaming. @1440p which I decided to try anyway on Timespy came out to 8815.
None of this soured my experience when gaming, I was having a blast playing High on Life, Street Fighter 6, and Battlebit Remastered. This is a very capable gaming rig for many years to come. Nvidia DLSS helps out the RTX 3060 with games that support them. One thing I would suggest or recommend is that you buy an extra SSD / HDD to go along with the 512GB of storage. Outside of that, the PC is amazing at what it can run and what it can do.
Another tip I recommend is that you go into the “armory crate” software and update everything to get the smoothest experience possible and update the Nvidia driver. Once this PC is paired up with a good 144hz monitor you should be having the time of your life with gaming. Asus and Microsoft give you a free month of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate when signing into Windows so that’s another bonus. Windows is Windows 11 and that’s on this PC.
Overall; I enjoy my time with this gaming pc, I have a ton of enjoyment gaming on the Asus ROG Strix G16CH. I was able to play all my Steam games successfully. There are tons of room for upgrades, nice airflow, seems to be stable, has a good design, and is great at gaming. I’m definitely impressed being a desktop lover. Satisfied with Asus build quality and handling of shipping. This is a great PC and one I would be proud to own especially if it was my first. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Square Reader is definitely a nice device that helps out when owning a business. It allows me to take debit cards for purchases people make and to do it in the easiest way possible.
With this version, there is now a way to connect the reader to Bluetooth on your phone. This makes it much better and much easier to use on different phones without a headphone jack from the older square model I’m used to. There is also contactless payment embedded within a device as well for “tap to go” purposes.
It’s very simple to set up; once you download the app and sign in you’re good to go from there. I actually have a chance to use this at an anime convention for a booth for testing. Everything worked fine for me with payments going though. Didn’t have any issues taking payments or connecting my account. The charge isn't too bad as Square takes 2.6% + 10 cents for each contactless payment that is made.
Battery life fine lasting me the day it needed 4 LED indicators to let you know what battery life is left and can also see what battery life is left in the app. Overall, the device does the advertisement it says it does. Which is to get your payments as quickly as possible for the merchandise you sell. And it does achieve this at this price point and is a fantastic little device that’s extremely handy for a business owner.
There’s no way you can live in a day and age without a Square reader at this point if you want to broaden your payment horizons. I would recommend this product without a doubt if you are a small bussiness owner.

Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro is an extremely impressive keyboard that I happen to enjoy as a gamer and have been using for a while now. I really like tons of features that helped me out using it on the fly. There are 4 buttons on the left side of the Blackwidow that give you a Screenshot, Snipped, Xbox Guide, and Desktop switching button that is so intuitive to use on Windows and makes so much sense not really taking your hand off the keyboard.
The construction on the keyboard is super amazing. It feels solid, and not a key is wiggly at all. Each key you pressed feels really tactile giving really good feedback with each press. . My keyboard doesn’t flex and it definitely feels like you’re getting your moneys worth here. I really enjoy the key strokes here even using it to type this review it’s pretty great. Razer’s green mechanical switches feels really nice to type on and I do have to praise what they have done here.
Again, everything here is beautifully design. In my opinion you have a volume rocker at the top that allows you to adjust the volume within windows. The keyboard also have a dedicated macro keys. The black widow V4 comes with a USB-C pass through as well as the cables to get, you started as quickly as possible.
What’s even more impressive here to me is the RGB and what they’ve done to get the lighting to look as gorgeous as possible. I truly enjoy the under glow of the keyboard and the magnetic wrist rest. This feels extremely nice on the risk one typing it does connect magnetically to the keyboard. I personally never seen anything like this. I truly enjoy the under glow any lighting zones you can set up with this keyboard is amazing. You need to sign up for Razer’s Synapse to get the best feature’s possible from keyboard itself.
I just enjoy the keyboard to be honest. There are media buttons as well. It’s super nice to have something that feels this good, and you have a command dial on the keyboard which gives you 8 different commands as you turn it in windows:

The one I use the most, switch browsing tabs on the Internet very rapidly. This keyboard is one of the best I’ve used and comes with a two-year warranty from the company, so I have no issues trusting it especially due to its construction. It’s extremely clicky and tactile. I will use this keyboard for my current set up going for it. The under glow of RGB really gives it a nice tone and feel. I will be using the Blackwidow V4 from Razer from here on out.

The most powerful compact speaker ever!

Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless is a super powerful speaker that I have enjoyed using and taking with me to the beach. I truly love tons of features that are packed into this tiny little powerhouse that’s downright shocking to the ears. Overall, it’s a super convenient speaker above all else.
This speaker is small enough to carry with you and not overly heavy for party speakers like other brands. Using S1 Pro+ at an outdoor event was also pleasant, everyone was surprised with the bass the speaker output.
In my personal opinion, I love the design of the speaker. The speaker allows you to lay horizontally or vertically; you are allowed to turn the “BOSE” logo to the correct position. This S1+ Pro feels very dense with tech inside.
All the controls are accessible and easy to reach on the speaker. There are three-channel mixers allowing you to individually control inputs. There are three small screen indicators to let you customize each channel.
The devices are rugged enough to survive a few bumps or bruises but beyond that it last. Giving me the full 11 hours at medium volume. This speaker is Bluetooth so any device you have can most likely connect to it, and if not there are Inputs for audio for your preferred setup. A 3.5 mm headphone jack input is also here. The speaker is compatible with standard 35 mm mounting poles.
S1+ Pro came with a Wireless mic transmitter and a Wireless instrument transmitter, so you and your friends can use your own mics for karaoke. (The speaker pairs well with Apple Music’s Karaoke mode.) The speakers sound amazing; no doubt that they would send waves of clean crisp sound and astounding bass around the area. it's easy to carry around from indoors to outdoors.
Bose has a new app called “Bose Music” that connect to the speaker so you can wirelessly control, volume levels and other things from the app itself. this also allows you to connect to other modern Bose speakers if you have any. I was unable to connect my Boss SoundTouch 300 soundbar to the speakers with the app. I’m assuming my speaker is too old at this point. I was disappointed that I couldn’t test this on a multi-speaker setup.
I really love this Bose S1+ Pro. It’s very powerful and punchy, and again one of the best-sounding speakers this year. There are some improvements that should be made to the App, but the product itself is extremely good. I can’t get enough of the punchy bass Bose brings to their speakers.

In all my years of looking at monitors, I have never seen anything as beautiful as this. This is downright the best monitor I have ever laid my eyes on in the existence of PC gaming. And while there are super Ultra Wide monitors, they can reach 49 inches this one can give a much more impactful experience than anything you can imagine.
The Alienware 34” QD-OLED AW34DWF is literally my favorite monitor of 2023. There is absolutely nothing like looking at all the OLED technology, it’s absolutely stunning, and this is got to be the pinnacle of PC gaming in my eyes. The UltraWide is very beautifully crafted from design to the stand, there are some great features that I love about this monitor as well.
Display: It is one of the most beautiful displays I’ve seen in a very long time. They are deep levels of black, and every angle is viewable with no light emitting from the back LCD. This means blacks are SUPER black and contrast/colors are eye-popping. Viewing anything on the display stands out perfectly and I’m actually surprised Alienware made something like this. I have never experienced gaming on this level.
HDR and auto HDR seems to work fine on this display. Which just adds to the perfectness of this monitor. Dell / Alienware provides a comprehensive calibration report for your device at the factory so you can see the test of color, accuracy, and consistency as well as their grayscale testing and tracking. And while I wanna do individual testing myself, I truly take their word on the report. This is something I feel like customers need in order to know what they are truly buying in the display and I love it. This to me means I could just go use it without worrying about it.
My natural reaction was to test games, picking out some interesting, colorful titles. I wanted to see pop on this display. And boy oh boy it did! “Forza Horizon” had so much better color accuracy with HDR & designing your own gave even more color personalization. You can see each small change in color. I’m driving on this QD-OLED Monitor is so good!
I quickly moved on to a fighting game, called “GrandBlue Fantasy: Versus” which heightens every single color from what it naturally is. The outline of each character for black was simply amazing paired together with this monitor. At every stage, the background popped out with massive, overly bright colors that only OLED can provide. I can’t stop looking at it.
Display resolution is 3440 x 1440 @ 165hz using FreeSync. This is probably one of the best you can get at this point in my opinion. They work together flawlessly when paired with a good GPU. It reaches a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The text in my eyes is sharp and doesn't have any issues reading when on a website.
The monitor comes with every cord you need to get started in the box and hook your PC to it. It comes with: DisplayPort, USB to Displayport, Power A/C, Cleaning cloth, and USB uplink cords are provided so you have to buy NOTHING extra to get the best possible gaming experience.
And obviously, the discussion of OLED should also bring up the discussion of Burn-in. And while I can’t prove to you that it won’t cause burning in Alienware, give a three-year warranty for something like that in case it happens.
The monitor also comes with a feature called “pixel-shift” which turns off the display after every four hours, so It can keep the monitor health good as long as it can. This can last up to 4 to 7 minutes and it’s a pretty quick process. You must turn the monitor on afterward. If you want to test Burn-in yourself; the easiest way to test for Burn-in is open up MSPaint and make the content 3440 x 1440, then fill it with dark gray and then F11 full screen.
There are so many features in this Alienware 32” QD-OLED I don’t think I can put them all in a review text. But some of the cooler menu features are here like Dark stabilization, Console Mode, Game Enhance mode, Picture in Picture…There are 2x display port, and 1x HDMI all of which supports auto-switching between the inputs. You have many options and possibilities for hooking up a device.
At the end of all, it is just an amazing display. It’s really really good. I can’t believe this is where display tech has gotten and it’s OLED. This is definitely one of the most phenomenal products have ever owned. If I can give it more than five stars, I definitely will give it 10. Playing games, watching movies or animation, watching videos...it all gave me one of the best PC experiences I've ever had. If I could have a gamers choice award for the best monitor display of 2023...it would be the Alienware QD-OLED AW3423DWF. Flat out.

The Best Headphones of 2023. Period.

Dyson Zone is hands down the best headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. I haven’t owned something this fantastically good in about 13 years as far as headphones go. There are some layers to break down here since this is a first-of-its-class item In my opinion. Whatever Dyson is doing? They are now a major player in the headphone space. There is a ton to explain here.
Presentation is everything and Dyson gives you just that. And an outstanding presentation of the headphones in the box as everything you need is in there to get started. Dyson Zone, USB-C cable, cleaning brush, filters for each ear cup, and a carrying case. Normally I wouldn’t talk about the carrier case but the one they provide is so awesome. Everything fits in there and it just turns so easy with a locking knob. I adore this.
There’s a QR code to get you started as fast as possible and to get you to the Dyson app that plays a big role with these headphones. There’s also a quick start guide. Putting the air filters inside was very easy, as I felt this would be the most difficult part it was not.
The design of the Dyson Zone (at least to me) is a work of modern art and design. These headphones are downright beautiful, and the color scheme works perfectly well. It’s something about the Zone that just feels like they actually put love and care into your comfort as much as possible. Putting adjustments to the headband feels so solid after dealing with many companies' headsets.
By any means, these are not headphones that feel cheap or built cheap. Everything feels crafted down to perfection. Headset controls are easy to use and quickly noticeable when wearing. The real star to show here is the air filter purification system through the mouthpiece. While you may look like a Cyberpunk enthusiast while it’s on it actually does serve its purpose perfectly.
You can adjust the mouthpiece to the headphones so the air can better circulate inside. It’s also made out of plastic as it should be to make proper adjustments. Each side is magnetic so attaches to the headphones themselves and you can pull it down slightly for talking. Truly a great idea for making these.
The filtered air comes goes through the earcups and into the mouthpiece giving you clean air in such places a urban areas. Where I am it’s a big city with enough pollution to give this a go. A few days out in the city and the Dyson Zone/ My Dyson App tries to adjust to the conditions pulling in data. For what it’s worth the app is really good at showing you information. You can feel the air pushing through
What do they sound like? Well, they sound like something I haven’t heard a very long time. In about 13 years. There are not many headphones out there that sound like this. Wireless sound has been lagging for a while but the Dyson Zone actually gets me excited again just about the future of headphones. These are a pinnacle in the wireless headphones categories. I couldn’t tell you the smile on my face when I heard proper bass. Everything was perfectly equal sounding and there are EQs you can work on yourself.
There are tons and I mean tons of information in the My Dyson app. Which gives you information about everything from air quality in your area, battery life, filter life, data of the sound, sound leak, interaction with the Dyson community, and so much more. Once you sign up the warranty is activated.
This brand or team of people really came out, swinging and showcasing they can really do sound in a proper manner. There were tons of genres that sound extremely great. But wait there is more…
ANC. This is one of the best implementations I’ve ever used for ANC. It actually makes a HUGE difference in your surroundings. There are three settings. Off, On, and a Hybrid. Turning it completely on cuts out so many background sounds. Giving you the best isolation you could possibly have zoning to your own music. Hybrid is where the ANC is off but you can still hear your surroundings. Double tapping one of the ear cups will activate the ANC.
Battery life with the air filter off; will net you the longest time here. I was able to go about a week without recharging them. Maybe totaling out to 35 hours of use and the battery wasn’t dead. The headphones achieve saving battery life in various ways. They turn off as soon as you take them off your head and turn on as soon as you put them on. The same goes if you move one earcup to listen to the outside world.
Battery life with the filter on; at the lowest settings with sound on gave me only a few hours of use. There is no way you can use these with the fans on all day. Filters last up to 12 months so they last a while once.
Also, the weight of headphones is heavy. Heavier than anything I have been used to thus far in this category. These are not the fault of the headphones, it’s just the way it has to be designed to fit the motors inside. I can see future iterations of this product reducing that.
I really like these headphones with great personal interest. Because I’m so blown away by how good these really are as opposed to the standard. I am extremely impressed with a Dyson zone. "Recommendation" is a light word for me to use when telling you how good they are. Get these if you can. It's a sound that has to be heard when using…All of this is great even without the filtration system or the ANC on board. without these features, they stand on their own which is very jaw-dropping. These got to be the best headphones of 2023. Dyson should be so proud to put out something that actually can make a difference. Need more stars for this product.

Only one HDMI input on the soundbar. You can't hook up two HDMI IN sources for the soundbar.
