Perfect for extending wireless in a large home

This is perfect for extending primary wireless AP using a network cable. You can put this router into wireless AP mode and connect a cable to the WAN port to extend your home wifi network. I returned a more expensive Netgear "extender". This one is perfect for this purpose and is simple to setup. Great value! I use this with a Gigabit Netgear wireless router as the primary.... I have both setup with the same SSID on different channels, so no reconfiguration of tablets/laptops is necessary and not changing connections manually.
What's great about it: Easy setup, great features
What's not so great: nothing so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't bother

I use it in...:Large home
You can't set this up with the same SSID as your primary router. It will not allow manual configuration of the channel. You also can not hard wire it to your primary router.... the device only allows wireless extension. The WPS setup is nice, but it automatically creates a new SSID. If you are looking for the ability for automatic switching from one wifi access point to another without manually changing connections, look elsewhere. I decided to just buy another wireless router and daisy chain the connections. You can do it with the same SSID, just modify the channel so they are not the same... and it can be hardwired with your primary. Don't waste your time with this "extender"

What's not so great: you have to manually connect
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
