I purchased the Roxio software in hopes of converting my old VHS tapes to DVD. The software loaded fine but I immediately found myself with little direction on how to use the features. The package has a very brief "How to" setup flier which is very generic. I attempted to find a pdf instruction file with no success. I then registered the product and attempted to contact customer service for support. I discovered that they have an E' mail system which resulted in 2-3 day delays in responses. I did note that they also offered a pay for one on one support program at $19.00 per issue or a broader pay for service package. This was frustrating as I had already payed for the software and now was unable to get timely tech support without an additional investment. After 9 days of frustration, I returned the product and purchased Honestech VHS to DVD 7.0 Deluxe Software at $79 with actual tech support.
What's great about it: Great price for potential software utility
What's not so great: Extremly poor customer support network
