Since this is all that is available now I purchased it with new Tab S2. I have been extremely disappointed with battery life. I charged it all night and it only lasted a day and a few hours the next of moderate office use. It also has no backlight. Prior keyboard cases from Logitech and Zagg have lasted weeks on a charge.
But key layout, functions, etc. are all great. I will just have to charge it daily.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Tablet: Photos and videos come to life on this tablet's expansive Super AMOLED touch screen, which features adaptive display technology for clear visibility. Navigate apps and features easily with dual quad-core processors, and integrate your other Samsung devices with SideSync and Quick Connect.
I replaced my lost 12.2 Pro with this tablet. The screen is beautiful and performance is great even after full encryption. However, battery life is poor. I use this at work for meetings and other roaming, including VDI and by the end of the day I'm below 40%. If I used is all day I don't think I'd make it. I also have keyboard cover.

Since I cannot edit my original review, I wanted to add some more information. I ended up returning this cover and getting a new one, thinking that I simply had a defective unit. But this was not the case (pardon the pun). I charged the device all night and it would not connect to the tablet. I did this a second time, and a third. Then, after each attempt, the battery indicator showed under 30% life. I then connected my "old & trusty" Sharkk keyboard with no problem. So I am returning this one and just getting the {expensive} cover because the snap and magnet design are great for this tablet. I will MISS the trackpad/mouse and HOPE someone else (Logitech?) comes out with a similar one in design and function.
