The SCV401-TR serves approximately 4-5 people and is perfect for all your favorite slow cooker recipes. The high, low and warm settings accommodate varied cooking needs and time constraints. Clean up is also a snap with dishwasher safe removable stoneware that doubles as a convenient serving dish complete with a dishwasher-safe glass lid. Mealtime just got easier.

The back of the unit burns the food. The sides and front shows no signs of hot spots. I picked up a second unit thinking the first might be defective, but the second one also has uneven heating.
What's great about it: The price.
What's not so great: Uneven heat distribution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
