Great game for beginners at 1st person shooter
on February 10, 2016

I've always been more of sports game type player and never been big on 1st person shooter type games. Since I'm not a total gamer and don't spend all my free hours playing video games, I hardly ever play online. The few times I played online with the ps3, I didn't stand a chance and lost games in record time.
I bought the ps4 on impulse around Christmas time b/c what they were offering was really to good to pass up. After talking with a co-worker who is a gamer, he really likes this game. It was on sale in the playstation store for $23 so I decided to buy it over the weekend. It is very hard to me and frustrating b/c I have no clue with what I'm doing. But each day I play it, I am getting to understand how to play it better.
This is a great 1st person shooter game for beginners like myself when playing online. The two multiplayer games I play online the most, you have about 20 people on your team. My best record to date was 4 kills & 18 deaths. lol I am ranked very low so I don't do much damage but I get points for playing and extra points for being on the winning team. So you can still raise your rank for sucking at the game and get points to buy bigger and better guns.
You can also toggle from 1st to 3rd person while in play. Even though people complain about this game not having a campaign mode, that really doesn't bother me. They have enough different types of games you can play offline to entertain yourself or play with a friend on split screen. It is basically to train and perfect your skills. That way when you do play online, you are killing more than you are dying. Or when flying, you aren't killing yourself b/c you crashed. I kill myself a lot when flying and you don't get credit for a kill when you blow up a Walker doing a kamikaze.
If you never played 1st person shooters like me and want to learn, I think this game is a perfect game to learn. I'm not sure I would pay $60 for the game but I don't like paying $60 for any game. This was a steal for me at $23.00

Happy with the impulse purchase

I'm not a big gamer like I used to be growing up as a kid. I bought this Uncharted ps4 bundle on impulse just like I did when I bought the ps3 years back. The had good deals that I couldn't pass up.
I mainly play sports games and never got into 1st person shooter games so I decided to go with Uncharted over Star Wars bundle and I'm glad I did. I still have problems controlling the person in the game since the controller has so many buttons these days. I remember the good days you didn't need to use the joysticks to move the characters. You could use the directional pad. I either need to grow more fingers to be able to utilize all the buttons or sit on the couch and play all day.
Uncharted graphics are really good. If you like 3rd person viewing games and playing story line games, you should buy this. You get the 1st 3 games of the Uncharted series. Great deal!
I haven't set it up to play online yet and I'm not sure I want to play online since I don't play often. Plus the few times I played online on the ps3, it wasn't really fun b/c I wasn't that good or someone quits in the middle of game b/c they are losing.
I haven't used as a Blu-Ray player yet either but I'm sure it will work just fine.
I did seem to notice that the ps4 updates a lot faster than the ps3 which is great. There were days I felt like playing the ps3 and then it took a while for it to download the updates and I'd lose interest.
I'm happy with this purchase!

My 1st Smartwatch
on January 5, 2016

I sort of knew I was getting this from my girlfriend as Christmas gift since I directed her towards the watch after I unknowingly purchased myself the Christmas gift she originally bought for me. Whoops!!!!
After having time to play with the watch and all the features and still learning what it can, I am very happy with it and continue to like more and more each day. It does what I wanted it to do and I'm sure more apps will be available as time goes on.
I am not a techie so I don't know software names or technical words to make myself sound computer smart. For the people who have patience, common sense, and understand sarcasm, you'll understand my review.
I have Samsung s5 phone and had no problems pairing them together. The watch has gps which is very accurate, tracks steps, tracks heart rate, and you can set it up on what kind of notifications you want to get from your phone.
Let's be honest with that no Samsung gear, Apple watch, Fitbit, or any other wrist tracker is 100% accurate. How can something on your wrist know exactly how many steps you taken? Do you manually count each step you take in a day and compare the two.
HR monitor isn't 100 % accurate either. It monitors your HR rate by checking the pulse in your wrist but the monitor is on top of the wrist. In the real medical world, to check an HR rate you check the pulse below your wrist.
So nothing is going to be 100% accurate.
I see people are upset that this watch doesn't have an sleep tracker. I never understood why anyone needs any type of smart watch to know how long I slept for? How does something on your wrist know if you are sleeping accurately? I know what time I went to bed, remembered when I seen the clock last, knowing how many times I got up to use the restroom, excited to see the time when laying back down knowing I have x amount of hrs left before my alarm goes off or mad b/c I have 10-30 mins left before my alarm goes off.
I think answering a call on the watch is a weird option for this watch b/c you'll need your phone to talk to the person calling. It should just have the reject call option on the watch only. Again people are upset b/c you can't talk on your watch. No one talks on their cell phones anymore so why are people upset b/c they can't talk on a watch? if you wanted to talk on the watch, you should have bought the one you can do that with. Most likely your phone is near you anyway so answer the phone and not the watch.
The S voice isn't the best when trying to reply to a text. You can type on the watch but the keys are small on the screen and it is like the old flip phones where you have to hit the number a certain amount of times to get the correct letter you want. So I added more quick messages in the Samsung Gear app settings on my phone with the ones already on there to reply back to texts. If I need to send a detailed text, I'll just use my phone. Not very hard!
I like being able to control my music, Pandora, and other music apps from my watch. You can also load about 300 songs onto the watch memory and pair the watch with Bluetooth headphones and play music without the phone. I haven't done it yet b/c don't have Bluetooth headphones. If I do, I'll update my review.
If I get Bluetooth headphones, upload music to my watch, and use Nike+ or S Health to go for a run without my phone, that would be great.
Battery life is good for me. I woke up at 6am with a full charge and went to bed at midnight with 52% battery left. This was after a day of moderate notifications I guess b/c people vary what they consider a lot of notifications or not enough. Plus I got my workout in also wearing the watch.
I'm still getting used to wearing a watch again so I do have some discomfort at times b/c its been about 17 years since I wore a watch.
Overall it is a good watch for what I want it to do. It is really an extension of your phone if you have to be few feet or few yards away from your phone. Now you don't have rush across the room to see if you need to take a call or waiting on a text or email. You can check your watch and decide if you need your phone to respond or not.
For all the people upset that it doesn't have the bells and whistle of a phone, have a certain tracking monitor or certain app. Then I suggest strapping your phone to your wrist or do more research on the product to find out that it has the tracking monitor or certain app you want before rushing to buy it and get upset b/c you spent money on something that didn't have what you want.

This Samsung 5 Series HT-J5500/ZA Blu-ray home theater system includes 5 satellite speakers and a passive subwoofer. To build a complete 3D home theater system, you'll also need a 3D TV, 3D glasses designed for the TV and a high-speed HDMI cable.

I like it so far

I been using the bluetooth for most of the day to listen to my music on my phone. It reads my phone pretty good from one side of the house to the other withe walls in between. Is there a setting to use all 5 speakers with music or is that just for surround sound watching movies? The sound is crisp and clear. I used the Blu-Ray for a bit and liked the picture. I did notice during the movie, I had to turn up the volume on some parts to hear the talking but then turn it down when some music came on. I still have to play around with the system but overall I am happy with it so far.

Smart TV does not support watch ESPN App
By Gary
The first TV had a broken screen out of the box. There was no damage to the box, and I had gingerly brought home the box upright and secure. The second TV worked great, except when trying to use the smart TV feature. Come to find out, the app for watching ESPN "watch ESPN" is not available for this TV. Support says this is an ESPN issue?? Funny, that does not seem to be an issue on any of my other non Samsung devices???

ESPN App on at TV???
December 17, 2015
What TV would have an ESPN app "watch ESPN" on it? You do know that to use the ESPN app, you have to log into a cable/satellite provider to use it. So why would they make an app on the TV to watch a channel that is on the TV? I understand you might use someone else's cable/satellite login to use the ESPN app on other devices. Get an Amazon Fire stick or chromecast to use ESPN app. A bad review for a TV b/c you can't think for a minute and understand why a TV doesn't have a ESPN app. smh!!!

Need an honest answer on optical input output please ???

Purchased this tv and a soundbar which uses a optical input-output cable...I asked the question if this tv has input-output for optical cable earlier and somebody answered "NO",but than I saw a photo of input-outputs on rear of tv in tvs decription and it shows a digital optical output...So is the photo correct or am I missing something ??? Since this tv is made for and sold by Best Buy only, there is nowhere else to check...Help ??? Thanks
I don't have this exact Samsung TV but I do have a Samsung sound bar hooked up to my Samsung TV with an HDMI cable I bought separately. I'm going to guess you can do the same with this TV
