Share your playlist in an older vehicle with this JamKastFM universal transmitter, which works in any vehicle with an FM stereo. Plug-and-play function requires no involved setups, and dTECT technology finds clear frequencies and remembers them for later use. The bright LED backlit display on this JamKastFM universal transmitter is easy to read in any lighting.

Far better than your average FM transmitter

I've owned a handful of FM transmitters over the years, starting with the commonplace SoundFeeder line of products, and more recently the Belkin TuneCast. A common complaint of these transmitters is the sound quality of the transmission. Usually it's far too quiet, with lots of static, and the stereo separation is practically nonexistent. Top that with the difficulty of finding a clear station in your area as you travel, and you're left with a slightly better than useless device.
The iSimple Jamcast is a completely different experience. I picked one of these up, and within 2 minutes of having the box open, I had it hooked up to my Palm Pre, listening to my music and podcasts with near-perfect clarity in my car. Stereo separation was far beyond what I expected from a plug-in device, and when the music was turned off, the transmission was static-free.
Setup is simple as can be. Just turn it on and hold the two outer buttons to start scanning for clear stations. About a minute later, it sets your memory slots to 4 stations in your area that will make excellent candidates for use. The longer-than-usual cords also make it easy to use no matter where you sit in the vehicle.
Anyone who's been frustrated with the low quality of FM transmitters would be well advised to pick one of these up.
What's great about it: Great sound clairity, ease of use, and overall design.
What's not so great: No complaints so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!
