New to having a DSLR and all, but I like the versatility of taking low light photo's without the harsh lighting that can come with using a flash, which is the main reason I purchased this lens. So far I'm very pleased with it. I haven't used it as much yet as I would like, but what I have used it for I've been very happy with the results. It takes great pictures, and you can't beat the price.
What's great about it: Low light, compact/light
What's not so great: nothing so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great lens to have!

I'm just getting started in photography and don't have a whole lot of experience using a DSLR, but I've used this lens several times, and I've found it to be very easy to use, and the results have been excellent. It seems like it will be a vital piece of equipment to have and I'm very glad I got it. Also, it takes really excellent pictures with out using a tripod, I'm assuming thanks to the vibration reduction, which I'm incredibly glad it has, it makes using this lens that much more versatile and easy.
What's great about it: Great pictures, very easy to use.
What's not so great: Heavy (but that's to be expected)
I would recommend this to a friend!
