This starter kit was a great way to get started with smart lights. The setup was super simple. I had them working within minutes of plugging them in. I was going to purchase the color bulbs, but the price was a bit much for color, and I didn't imagine using the colors much after the 'novelty' of it wore down. We are using the different warmth colors of these bulbs quite a bit. I didn't expect to, but being able to adjust the warmth of the colors during different times of the day is quite useful.

Was easy to setup. Had separate remotes for the TV, Comcast, Roku, Amazon Fire, and sound system. My wife hated the mess of remotes in the living room, and didn’t like trying to figure which one(s) to use either. Having one remote is a huge improvement and my wife is happy, so it was well worth the hefty price tag. And functionally the remote is very easy to use.

I don't think I'll ever say TV mounts are easy to install, but this one wasn't too bad. It comes with lots of different sized attachments, so you should have what you need for whatever TV you are connecting (especially the major manufactures). There are also good leveling adjustments, so if you are just slightly off when you put the TV up, you can get it perfectly level without removing the TV. I am also very happy with the space you can pull the TV away from the wall to get to the cables. It clears about 4 inches from the wall, which is just enough to manage cables.

So glad I got the mount instead of leaving the soundbar on my TV stand. It looks so much better. Cable management is a bit more challenging because now there is the space between the TV and soundbar and the space between the Soundbar and the TV stand to clean up the cables. Of course, once you get that cleaned up, it's no longer an issue...except when you add/remove devices. Luckily having just the one digital cable from the soundbar to the TV helps.

Great addition to Sonos setup, one minor annoyance

I purchased these to complete my Sonos 5.1 setup with the Playbar and Sub. The sound is impressive. I loved the idea of having Alexa integrated with the system, but that is where my one minor annoyance comes in. You cannot use a Play:1 as a left/right, and then the Play One (with Alexa) for the other side. You must use two Play One's, which means paying for the extra cost for the Alexa functionality for the other rear when you don't need that functionality. That said, it wasn't that much more expensive, and the sound is great. I have noticed that compared to the sound coming from the Playbar, the Play Ones are not very noticeable in 5.1. I'm thinking now the Play 3 may have been a better option, but then there would be no Alexa integration.

I was very skeptical purchasing this Soundbar. I purchased a different Soundbar to start a 7.1 system a year ago. That soundbar was as expensive as the Sonos, and sounded great for movies, but was HORRIBLE playing music. I am not an audio expert, but the music sounded like the cheapest stereo you could buy. I returned that system, and figured I was done with soundbars. I read great reviews about Sonos, so I decided to give it a try, and am glad I did. The sound is incredible no matter what I play. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased the Sonos 5.1 system, and have been thoroughly impressed with the sound. All the speakers are fantastic, and the subwoofer is amazing. This is not a cheap system, but the sound is worth it, and being able to control the system through Alexa, and from our phones has been more useful than I had imagined. I highly recommend this system! If budget is an issue, maybe start with the soundbar, then add the subwoofer when you can, and then add the rear speakers when you can.
