Simply the best laptop

Spend the money and buy something that will last. Don't buy the MacBook Air, you'll hate yourself for it if you ever see it next to a pro with Retina display. Don't buy the new MacBook unless you absolutely need something as light as possible, and you understand you'll be sacrificing significant power.
Office 2016 (currently in beta) is nearing perfection. And as has been the case since Apple started using Intel chips, you can run Windows on this computer if that's your preference.
Best computer hardware in the world, hands down. This particular model is the best value. For more power, the two 15" models are both great options, but this is hands down the best value in 13".

I have a mac book air running i read that I would have to format this to be compatible with my computer. But once I do that if I want to later connect to those picture printing machines like at Walmart will it be read? i want this for pictures only
Using Disk Utility to format as FAT would definitely work. But you will be limited to files under 4GB. Formatting as ExFAT would allow for files larger than 4GB, but that requires 1) Mac OS X 10.6.5 and 2) the Walmart machine to be running Windows Vista SP1 or newer (including 7 and 10). They probably are.
