4K Versions Look Excellent

When I went to see Logan in theaters I saw the film on a Dolby Cinema screen by AMC, which as I understand it was a premium, digital high-def version of the film compared to "normal screenings," featuring more vibrant colors, deep blacks and little to no grain in the overall picture. Watching this in 4K from home looks just as good as it did when I saw the film in that theater. With HDR support, the lighting and colors blend and fill the screen in the most natural way, such as with opening scene where colorful lights are shining through a haze of dirt and smoke against the black night sky.
Logan Noir, the black and white version, also looks stunning in its own right. Through the adjusted contrast and they way no scene is a washed out mess of gray tones, you can tell that great care and effort was given to the conversion process and that they didn't simply just switch the picture mode to grayscale.
If you do not own 4K equipment but are buying these 4K/normal Blu-ray combo packs to future-proof your collection, it's worth noting this set includes a total of 4 discs because both versions of the film, Logan and Logan Noir, are on normal Blu-ray discs.

Better Than The First

Admittedly I've never been much of a fan of action films, even when it comes to acclaimed classics like Die Hard. A friend of mine urged me to give this film series a chance, he even bought the films for me to ensure that I do.
The first film was intriguing, but for me too simple and too much of the same action pattern repeated throughout. This film, however, was more entertaining through expanding on the already interesting world and mythos from the first, it had more distinct settings for certain action set pieces, characters were more distinguished and memorable and the end, though a cliffhanger, was more satisfying. It's not an all time great film, but a good enough film with enough style and personality that it still deserves to be seen.

Not the Most Impressive 4K Release

I have only just begun collecting 4K Ultra HD movies, this being the second out of the few titles I now own. After testing and comparing the 4K and regular Blu-ray versions of each film on my TV, this was the only film where I saw little to no difference in picture quality between the two discs. The lighting was slightly more enhanced through the HDR support, but the overall appearance in the color and resolution seemed very much the same.
When double checking the best suggested TV settings for my TV on YouTube, the video tested Amazing Spider-man 2 and found the same problems across the two formats for that film, leading me to the hypothesis that Sony films are not up to par with films from other studios on 4K Blu-ray.
It was okay for a black Friday deal, but otherwise I would suggest to anyone else to save a bit of money by sticking with the regular Blu-ray version.

One of the Best Games On Switch

There's not much more I can say that hasn't already been said by actual critics and other users. The game is as much fun as you would expect from a Nintendo title with tons of content. Looks and performs extremely well either in docked or portable mode. In portable mode, the Switch can play this game for at least 2.5 hours before the battery is depleted. Would recommend to any Switch owner as an essential, must have title for the system.

Having purchased the Zagg glass protection for my last 3 smartphones, it was the first and only screen protector I thought to get for my Nintendo Switch. Extremely easy to install with simple, straight forward instructions. Once placed, it is hardly noticeable as it looks and feels like the glass of the original screen. Have repeatedly placed Switch and removed Switch from dock since installing screen protector, it still does not have any visable scratches or scuff marks. A bit expensive, but would still highly recommend.

The game is a fun, challenging retro style platformer that feels right at home on a Nintendo console. The game is fully remastered with updated graphics and music soundtrack, but also features the ability to select original graphics and/or music.

Storyline is not as impactful as the first, but still feels like the best cinematic treatment for the Justice League in recent history. The dock is a very tight fit for the Switch on its own. There's definitely no way that it can fit the Switch while it has a case on it.
