Decent phone. Bought it when I had to return my Note 7, but eventually decided to stick with Samsung. The UI is decent, but not as flexible as Samsung or stock Android. The fingerprint sensor is phenomenal, and the ability to assign actions to it is great. BUT the lack a of physical back button just kills it for me. The cameras are OK at best. USB C is great, expandable storage is also great.

Better than expected sound quality, good build. Good battery life (hasn't run out while watching 5 episodes of star trek :), the only complaint is that when you press the headphone to your ear, you can hear the diaphragm click (not really a problem, unless you lean on something with the headphone). Can be used with a wire, both active and passive.

the ram does not have to be same capacity, but it's good to keep it symmetrical. make sure your system can support the capacity you're installing, otherwise it will either be inaccessible or the system may not post.
