Distance reception with this cable is great. I can say this because when I had my new system installed they ordered the wrong cable...and as I was 2-1/2 hours from Best Buy they tried and alternate. I live in a rural area and could only get very local stations... when they put this cable on there were no problems at all.

OK but could use some improvements

Had this installed about 2 months ago on my 2012 Ram Truck. Likes are many functions, love the phone calling and being able to stream music from my phone over the system via blue tooth. Sound quality is good for calling. I live in a rural area and once the proper antenna cable was put on distance reception is great.
Dislikes are that the display is virtually unreadable when the sun is out, even after trying all the display brightness adjustments. I also can't use the steering wheel mounted controls because the volume runs away when you touch the button. Had it back twice for that and they can't correct it. Kenwood says it's the install, not the radio. So I don't use the steering wheel volume controls. One more thing that's puzzling is that a radio with this many features did not come with a printed manual... its not convenient to look at it online on a phone so I had to print out 65 pages at home to be able to set things up and use as a reference. Minor dislike is having to scroll through all the features to change function.
My "plain" factory radio (AM/FM/Satellite/CD) went out and this system was about half the cost of replacing that radio and I got a LOT more features. I would say I like it but all the bugs are annoying, they advertise a lot of features but they don't all work so well. I'll "recommend this to a friend" but would say be aware the final result is not as glamorous as the box advertises.

Good tool for managing activity

Most people know this is a tool to track your activity. Works well, easy to use, smart phone link works good. I wear it on my belt every day, on my gym shorts when I walk and haven't had any issues with it being in the way or falling off. It's been a good tool to help me lose about 15 lbs since I bought it a month and a half ago.

Will this fit a 2016 dodge ram? Can you hook up a rear view camera to it? Does the mic cord come with it?Do you also sell the dash kit and wiring plug and play power connections and antenna cable?
I had it installed in my 2012 Ram and it looks nice. Can't answer the question on the rear view camera. Yes it came with a mic cord and microphone. Now for the cables... they cost as much as the radio... the cable for the steering wheel controls was about $100 and I can't use the volume control buttons because 25% of the time the volume runs away to supermax, and it's a big distraction while driving to turn it down. Had it back to Best Buy twice for that, they can't correct it. Kenwood says it's not the radio must be the install. So I don't use the steering wheel volume controls but paid a lot for that cable...

Will this fit in a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?
I have it in my 2012 Ram and it fits and looks nice. I would say they could make it fit in yours. Be careful if you have steering wheel volume controls though, that cable costs almost as much as the radio and 25% of the time when just tap the button to up the volume it runs away to supermax loud and it's hard to bring it back down.
