Good camera, VERY poor instructions.

We did a permanently wired installation in our vehicle, and that all worked well. However, attempting to become really proficient with the device has proven to be difficult. The included manual is almost nothing. The on-line manual is only slightly better. The manual states, for example, that the camera will support a 64BB memory card. But, it turns our, according to Garmin, that you cannot format the 64GB card in the camera. It will format a max of 32. Garmin says the card has to be formatted on a Mac, which I don't have. I went back to Best Buy to ask for help, and they wanted $50 to format the card. Poor response!
We will figure this out, of course. But when we went to buy another dashcam for another car, we did not buy it from BestBuy and we did not buy Garmin. The above is the biggest gap I have found. However, the menu operation on the Garmin is non-standard, and there is nothing in the manual to help with this. Sure, we figured it out eventually. But, this is problem, in my opinion, that we should not have to deal with.
