Great portable projector for compact usability

This is a compact and portable projector, very handy and delivers Full HD quality. The picture quality is crisp and it can project to a max size upto 100". The size of this projector is comparable to the mini cable box and weighs less than 2 lbs, easily fits in a laptop bag. It comes with built-in speakers, but nothing fancy and too small to hear from a distance. I connected external speakers to the 3.5mm aux audio port and it was much better. This projector comes with built-in battery, which means you can use it without power cord. The specs say you can use it for upto 2 hours on battery, which I haven't tested completely to see the capacity. There is a small kick stand and a threaded tripod mount for easy portability. I will be testing the tripod option to see how well it can hold. You get the standard HDMI connection, but the best part is that it comes with USB-C port that I was able to connect my Surface Pro tablet as well as my phone and start projecting instantly, a much better way to show the photos and videos. Overall, it is a great projector that you can carry around for portable use and outdoor movie nights.

Solid protection with added features

Heard about Tech 21 cases, but never tried one until now. This definitely looks to add solid protection to the phone. It has 10 ft drop protection. Clear case helps showcase your phone's color. It has self healing finish which is supposed to smooth any scratches, not that I want to try how it works. The case is very durable, not too slippery, and doesn't make the phone bulky. Overall, a good investment for a phone case.

Solid 2-in-1 with excellent features

This is Dell's one of the latest Inspiron models. The build quality is pretty good and has a solid feel on the heavy side. This is a 2-in-1, which means you can use this laptop in different modes: tent, stand, laptop, or tablet mode. The setup was a breeze. The laptop comes with Intel's latest 10th Gen i7-10510U processor, powerful for a variety of users to get their work done. The display is a 15.6" touch screen with 4K resolution. The resolution is stunning on this and I really like the narrow border with less bezels.
The included 16GB RAM (max capacity as well) handles the tasks very smoothly. I had couple of browsers with few tabs open on each, listening to music, doing some light work, and didn't feel any lag and everything was loading very fast. It is also equipped with 512GB SSD + 32GB Intel Optane. The loading times are really fast. Not to forget, there is also a 2GB dedicated GDDR5 graphics card onboard which helps with photo/video editing software, some gaming, movies, etc.
There are plenty of ports on this sleek laptop. You get two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one universal headset jack, 3-in-1 MicroSD card reader, one HDMI 2.0 port, and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C (Thunderbolt 3) for power and extended display. It also has Intel WIFI 6 adapter (future proof) and Bluetooth 5.0 module.
The keyboard is backlit and Dell has managed to include the full numberpad. The trackpad is not exactly positioned by the center of the keyboard, so it might take few uses to get used to this placing. The power button is placed inline with the keyboard and has built-in fingerprint reader, which you can setup to use with Windows Hello. The included webcam is a standard 720p camera and doesn't support facial recognition for easy login. But it serves its purpose of video chats.
The included Dell Active Pen is similar to Surface Pen and it works seamlessly. I use it to take notes and some of the Windows Ink functionality. It is not rechargeable, and uses an AAAA battery, which does last long (from Surface Pen experience), depending on how heavily you use. The best part is that there is a storage on the laptop hinge where you can keep the pen secured.
The included speaker does a good job of stereo output. You can customize it using the included Dell audio tool. Since I mostly connect my headphones, I am not going to leave it as is in default mode. The battery (nonremovable) life is pretty good and has the Dell's version of quick charge. It lasts 5-7 hours, depending on the usage and the settings.
A solid laptop from Dell that is good for various users with wide spectrum of use cases. Do take a look at this one if you are in the market to buy/upgrade to a new computer.

Compact airfryer for simplistic use

Philips Air Fryer is an easy to use, simple unit. It uses little to no oil to fry food. This is done by heating up the air using proprietary technology (TurboStar). It is a decent size unit. It has two knobs, one to set the temperature and the other to set the timer (30 min max). Might not feel fancy with no digital or touch controls. But it does cook well. The best part is that I can use this to make fried food without worrying about oil spluttering all over my kitchen/stove area with traditional frying. I was able to make fries (default test action) and also make some personal pizzas using the naan bread. Next trials would be to make mozzarella cheese sticks and potato chips. You can also check out the included cookbook for any new recipes. Cleaning was a breeze, both the basket and the mesh didn't had much grease after using. The If you are thinking about getting an airfryer to switch to oil-less cooking, I would definitely recommend this one.

Great espresso machine with store quality coffee

This is my first ever automatic coffee maker. It is very easy to setup and the packaging of this unit is neatly done with easy to remove items. There are not that many moving parts. You can either follow the instruction manual or there are plenty of YouTube videos that show how to set this up. Everything is controlled via touch display, or more like with touch buttons. At the touch of these buttons, you can make one of the 5 coffee types: Espresso, Cappuccino, Coffee, Latte Macchiato, Americano. You would press these buttons twice if you want to make it double. There is a separate button for hot water. To the right of these buttons, you have the 'My Coffee Choice' menu settings which will allow you to adjust the aroma strength, coffee quantity, and the milk quantity. This unit comes with automatic ceramic grinders, which can be adjusted in 12 steps, depending on how fine or coarse you want the coffee beans to be. This doesn't mean you cannot use your instant or already ground coffee. There is a different compartment and you can easily add your coffee powder in it to make the coffee of your choice. According to Philips, the grinder is supposed to last for at least 20,000 cups. I am not sure if is replaceable or just done, time will tell. This grinder is no silent one, but it is also not too loud. The next specialty of this coffee machine is the LatteGo system. This one doesn't use a wand like a traditional milk frother, but instead it uses proprietary high speed system to create smooth milk froth. The best part is cleaning, just rinse out the container and you are done. One minor inconvenience is that you cannot just use the LatteGo to froth the milk without selecting a coffee option. This makes it harder to use it for other drinks such as hot chocolate. But I have read on Philips manual that you can use the Start/Stop button before the coffee/milk is completely to stop dispensing. I am going to try this to see if it works. This machine also comes with water filter which is activated as soon as you install it. There is an indicator on the touch panel that reflects the health of this filter. It lets you know when you need to replace the filter (~ 3 months) and when you need to descale it (~ 5000 cups). Overall, this is an easy to use automatic coffee/espresso maker at par with store quality that will save you in the long run.

Great midrange soundbar with amazing sound quality

This Yamaha soundbar is sleek, solid built, powerful output, with amazing sound quality. The soundbar comes with wireless subwoofer. There is also Alexa built in for voice control, controlling smart devices, as well as pairing with other Alexa devices. Download the app which is mandatory to update any firmware on the soundbar as well as connect the soundbar to Wi-Fi. The subwoofer connects to the soundbar automatically as soon as you plug it in and turn on the soundbar. I was able to setup this soundbar with my TV fairly easily. You can connect the soundbar with TV or audio devices using the HDMI port, digital optical in, and Bluetooth. It also supports Dolby and DTS sound the HDMI 4K pass-through feature, but if you have multiple devices, you either need to get a HDMI switch or manually connect these devices to HDMI out every time you use the soundbar since there is only one HDMI out. This is kinda not ideal setup. You can use the app or the included remote to change the audio source directly. I really like the surround sound this produces, it is clear and provides good bass. Overall, this is a great mid-range soundbar with good sound quality and features that you would find in other competiting soundbars.

Powerful premium blender

This is one powerful blender and my first high end blender. I have used this to make smoothies and shakes as well as some sauces and curry bases for cooking. It does a great job of blending anything and everything. Being in an apartment, I am always cautious of the blender noise disturbing the neighbors. With this blender, it comes with a dome/cover and it reduces the noise well. I really like that and don't have to feel bad about the disturbance anymore. It comes with 5 pre-programmed modes for blending options as well as manual mode with variable speed. I have only used the manual mode since I like blending the food at various speeds depending on what I am making. Compared to the smoothies I made using Magic Bullet, this Philips blender does crush all the ingredients smoothly and I haven't had any chunky mix. Also, this blender is very easy to assemble and this blender won't turn on if you didn't install it correctly. Cleaning this blender is a breeze. If you rinse it or soak it right after you use, the food doesn't stick to the jar at all. This is no small unit, so it does take quite a bit of counter space and is heavy. It also comes with a spatula that is used as a stirrer and to push the ingredients. My next experiments with this blender is to make frozen desserts, margaritas, maybe almond butter, etc. and see how it turns out. Overall, this is a very powerful premium blender and can be a great accessory for everyday cooking.

Sony WF-1000XM3 headphones are one of the premium earpods available in the market right now. Sony has its advanced proprietary noise cancelling processer packed into this wireless earbuds. Each earbud has dual microphones to isolate sounds from any noisy atmosphere. The earbud comes with 8 hours of battery life without noise cancelling and 6 hours with noise cancelling. But the charging case can provide additional 3 full charges. A quick 10 minute charge will give you 90 minutes of battery. The earbuds has multiple sensors that enable smart features with touch controls like pausing the music by removing one earbud, changing the track, activating phone's voice assistant, switch between noise canceling to ambient sound, etc. You can use only one earbud while the other one is charging. The earbuds comes with four different sizes of ear tips and foam tips and the charging case uses USB-C cable. The sound from this earbuds are clear and better than any other Bluetooth earbuds I have used. You can use the Sony Headphones Connect app to customize controls as well as assign some of these features. One of the biggest missing feature is that these earbuds are not water/dust proof. Overall, this is truly a premium wireless earbuds with amazing audio quality and an easy recommendation to be used as a daily driver.

Compact multi-surface wet/dry vacuum cleaner

This is my first Floormate JET cordless floor cleaner. It vacuums and cleans the floor. It is very easy to setup and handy. It runs on battery, so charge it to full once you assemble it. You need to charge the battery separately from the vacuum. A fully charged battery lasts approximately 30 min. This comes with two roller brushes, one for wood floors and the other for multi-surface. The unit has two tanks that keeps the cleaning solution and the dirty water separate. The tanks has markings which tell you how much of the cleaning solution to be added. The swivel head makes it easy to manuver around and under things. Once you are done with cleaning, make sure to clean the tanks, the rollers, tubes so that it doesn't stink with dirty water. I would highly recommend buying a second battery if you plan to clean larger areas or multiple rooms. If you have any other ONEPWR device, then you can use that battery in this unit. Overall, this is a great cleaning device for small areas or for quick cleanups.

Amazing home theatre system

This is my first ever Polk home theatre system. Given that this package includes a large subwoofer, a full receiver, a center speaker and 4 satellite speakers, it is heavy. It is easier and better to move individual items rather than the entire box. The receiver comes with a remote and has plenty of inputs: 5 HDMI inputs, AM/FM antenna, optical/coaxial input, 2 composite inputs, USB audio, aux input and a mic input. It also supports Bluetooth connection. This means you don't need to keep the TV on all the time if you just want to connect via the audio port. The AVR also supports Dolby Vision, HDR, and 4K pass through, DTS. The receiver will take up space on your TV stand and it bulky as well. The setup is not easy or user friendly. But you can use your TV to follow the instructions. Once you setup the AVR, it is very easy to use as well as works well with all the connected devices.
The subwoofer, heavy as well, has it's own amplifier. It also has low pass and volume control buttons. It comes with the subwoofer cable that you need to use to connect to the AVR. The 5 speakers has a tweeter and woofer built-in. These are compact and well designed. When going through the setup, you can adjust the placement of these speakers that suits your room best using the setup mic. The sound quality is amazing, no matter what the audio source was. This unit comes with pretty much every cable you ever need to setup and use. It has 100 ft. of speaker cable. The only time consuming part is to cut this cable to various lengths based on your speaker placement. Overall, this home theatre system is perfect upgrade to a sound bar and for those who doesn't want to spend on the most expensive sound systems with amazing sound quality.

The IR camera is used solely for the Windows Hello feature. There is another front camera that you can use it for your video chatting and other applications.

can I add ram to a surface pro 4 that only has 4gigs
You cannot add any RAM to the Surface pro 4. You have to remove the back casing in order to do so and by doing that, you will be voiding the warranty. If you are looking for an everyday device with not so heavy applications, 4GB is sufficient. If you planning to run heavy applications/games, then I would recommend the 8GB model.
