How to use in HDMI mode
When I switch my TV from AV mode to HDMI mode to access Netflix through my ROKU stick, the audio from my headphones is still the TV show while the audio from the TV speakers is the movie I'm watching through ROKU on Netflix. How do I get the headphones to pick up the audio while in HDMI mode?
Plug in charging base headphone cable directly to your TV headphone jack. In your TV audio settings ( if you have these settings available) select Audio to TV speakers Off, and Headphones Audio/Out.

I don't want the hasle to put take apart and download things and I was wondering if I just plugged this into the USB port would it work?
Yes. I use it on a Lenovo PC running Windows 7 and had no problems. Just plug in and it's ready to use
