I'm a huge fan of the "Omen" line of desktops. But this is my first experience with an omen monitor. Is it worth it?
The first thing that came to mind when lugging this box to my upstairs office was - for being SO THIN this guy is HEAVY. Especially for a monitor. I suspected the majority of the heft of the HP OMEN - 27" qs was the stand. But in in actuality the weight sort of equals out between the two.
And for the gamer in me - YAY for USB in monitor. I hated having to "dive into cable world" just to connect this or that or my controller. In that regard the HP OMEN - 27" qs has you covered!
Being freesync AND gsync compatable as well? Get out of here!
Somehow the HP OMEN - 27" qs monitor (and it could be a placebo effect) seems to bring out details in games as old as "modern warfare".
Want to dial it up to 240hz? If your hardware supports it, it is truly breathtaking.
And if that wasn't all, for those with self built modded rigs, or an omen (to sync) the HP OMEN - 27" qs even has rgb on the back, that I must admit, had me messing around with longer than I probably should have!
And of course the HP OMEN - 27" qs has all the HDMI and DP plugs you need (they even supply the cables!). The speakers to me are an afterthought as I have my rig connected to an audiophile quality receiver. But they are a nice touch and are capable on their own!
If you want truly breathtaking visuals, in a very thin monitor, go for the HP OMEN - 27" qs. And don't forget about the rgb on the back!

The HP - Dragonfly Pro 14" Wide Ultra XGA Touch-Screen - AMD Ryzen 7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Sparkling Black Laptop is sight to behold. But what is around the bend?
First the build is SOLID. I wish this was around when I was in University and had to "abuse" my devices on a daily basis. The HP - Dragonfly Pro Sparkling Black Laptop is marketed as being a "professional" laptop but I definitely see it being capable as a (responsible) student's laptop.
The packing is very minimal, which I dig as it is environmentally friendly. I just had to add that somewhere in the review!
The screen is very bright on the HP - Dragonfly Pro Sparkling Black Laptop, probably the brightest and most lifelike in my "collection".

The part HP forgot to tell you on the packaging is that ”accessories are not included". You get a usb-C charging port and 2 (ONLY TWO!) USB-C accessory ports- the small ones. For some this may be ok. But I have more than two devices! And they aren't all "C" type. So if you are like me, expect to plunk down some more cash on a couple (premium) extension dongles to handle your devices. I got a multi-C for one and a multi-B for the other. It's 2023 folks. We shouldn't have to do this.
With that out of the way the HP - Dragonfly Pro Sparkling Black Laptop handles whatever you can throw at it in terms of applications. Chrome with 20 tabs? Not a problem. With the office suite open? Still not a problem. I would venture to view that this handles games well too. Though, my testing in that area was limited to angry birds. That run smoothly and the touchscreen made it even more fun.
Though, remember, don't go filling this bad boy up with a bunch of stuff at the get go.. It only has a 512gb drive. And again that may be fine for some but not the "pro" among us. Good luck performing a diy upgrade as it seems hp has made the HP - Dragonfly Pro Sparkling Black Laptop upgrade-proof by the way everything is connected. You have to take it in to get it upgraded to ensure you don't break what I assume is it's solder?
Onto the keyboard. Again what were HP thinking with a key dedicated to their software? Not only that, the delete/backspace key is cut in half. For people like me with big hands - no bueno. Something just feels"off"' about it, and it has led me to making some pretty embarrassing typos.
But again if you are getting this for University or to surf the web, nothing pro, you'll be fine.
The only thing I would say is "pro" is both the display and the rock solid build. So if that's what you're in the market for, this laptop is for you. If you want to plunk down some more cash,, they make a 1TB configuration... But why do that when you could take this to a shop for an upgrade and come out with more money in your wallet???
With all that said, the HP - Dragonfly Pro Sparkling Black Laptop, once configured and modded is a very capable pro device!

Best all 'round Hi-End player

$199 used to be what the low to middle tier Blu-ray players went for ”back in the day". And back then you didn't get much. You were lucky if you got your disc back out half the time (don't ask me how I know). Well, I just wanted to be part of the excitement back then I guess.
The Panasonic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player DP-UB154P-K on the other hand, reminds me of the players that were "off-limits" due to their price. The Panasonic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player DP-UB154P-K's form and function is also reminiscent of those "look but don't touch" players.
BUT NOW we have the benefit of technology getting better. So, in my opinion, this player is actually better than those previous "hi-end" models. Let's explore why.
First we have a bevy of HD image formats, where previously high end models did not come anywhere near the amount of formats. The Panasonic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player DP-UB154P-K supports HDR10, the new kid on the block HDR10+DM, UHD, and HLG.
But what really blows this baby out of the park is the hdr optimizer and the chroma processor technology which makes even older things like TV shows on DVD and some very old Blu-ray discs look better! I wouldn't call this upscaling as that looks (to me at least) very unnatural. This to me, is very different, very natural, VERY GOOD, and very welcome!
On the audio side of things, the Panasonic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player DP-UB154P-K scores again providing HD Master sound. And I am a huge stickler/audio-phile that would take the world's greatest looking Blu-ray player back to the store if it came up short in the sound department. One sentence: I'm not taking this one back! Just like it's bevy of supported video formats, it hits a home run with the audio formats, including ALAC, DSD in multiple high bitrates, WAV, FLAC, AAC and AIFF just to name a few. But if you have a home theater, or even an amp and some speakers, this baby again can make ALL of those and more sound like studio master sound quality to my ears, and to Panasonic's claims (so I can't be THAT crazy!). And to round things out, it of course supports Dolby, and claims to support Dolby Atmos (my up firing speakers are in the shop. Perfect timing). so i couldn't test that.
What comes in the box? The essentials my friend. The sleek, player itself, which would make any room pop. And the easy to use remote. but don't despair!
The player itself has a usb port (!!!), the usual HDMI out port --- go ahead and splurge on the fancy cable this time around! And (wait for it!!) a LAN connection for *cough* *cough* endless possibilities *wink**wink*....
I personally, last night, just watched the latest bio/docudrama that i knew came out recently on Blu Ray starring our most famous resident. And I'll tell you what, the visual reproduction, and the sound made the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up, especially when it was coming to the final scenes. No other player has come close, in my experience. It just looks/sounds THAT good!
So if you are like me, and you care about getting the best audio and video experience as well as bang for your buck, the the Panasonic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player DP-UB154P-K has your name all over it!
I have a feeling these babies are going to sell out FAST!!!

The Blink - Outdoor Wired 1080p Security Camera with Floodlight is an excellent combo for those not wanting to spend hundreds (or thousands) of dollars on their first security product.
The fact that it comes with a (gotcha! just bright enough) spotlight is just icing on the cake.

First thing, installation, don't let this or any other of the reviews scare you off. If you need to get professional help - don't be afraid to call a local electrician if you have and questions (or in my case my father in law). We just don't want the Blink - Outdoor Wired 1080p Security Camera with Floodlight, or any other product to be the cause of your electrocution!!
All being said the Blink - Outdoor Wired 1080p Security Camera with Floodlight was easy to install - I was just having a "duh" moment that I'm sure my Father in Law is still chuckling about.
After hardware installation, simply install the Blink App on your phone and you will soon be synced up with your Blink - Outdoor Wired 1080p Security Camera with Floodlight.
Daytime image and audio quality is good enough. A notch above their blink doorbell cameras would be a good description. But again, the icing on the cake is the spotlight! I like to keep an eye on my car which is parked in the driveway (boooooooo! wife! for eternally claiming the garage!). And at night (or even dusk/dawn) when these babies pop on you instantly know as well as the evil-doer (Texan snicker).
What's even better is the two-way audio on the Blink - Outdoor Wired 1080p Security Camera with Floodlight. Enough to hold a friendly conversation with family members, or a not so friendly one with evil doers (snicker)
The 30 day free trial of their cloud storage is nice. You can review every time a tree limb moves, or an evil doer approaches (snicker- OK I'll stop now) But you CAN attach your own external storage via the Blink Sync module which is sold separately.The module is marketed at those with multiple devices by Blink. Sort of a command center if you will. And it is there that you plug in your USB device, and where your other devices get their WiFi. Almost a nest system.
Going into it, having the module I thought "I'm not signing up go for yet another subscription." But knowing my footage is safe in the cloud is peace of mind. Plus, everything backs up to the USB storage device connected to the sync module. So that isn't wasted tech.
And yes, there is a siren. And yes, it is loud. Several of my neighbors almost called the police thinking a burglary was occurring. Thankfully I stopped playing with it just in time.
So if you are thinking about getting a floodlight, why not get a camera too??? If you are thinking about getting a camera - go for the floodlights as well! For the price you can't beat it!
JUST DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT WHEN INSTALLING!

So the title gives away a bit of the review of the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - White, all because it is all so simple and easy. From setup to usage.
With the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - White - you get a "PIABAB" Or for those that don't like acronyms - a printer in a big (bleep) box.]
The Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - White has only one major setup step and that is to feed it its ink supply! I'm a major fan of the "MegaTank" line, as well as others who are now waking up. We no longer want to buy piddly (sp) amounts of ink for enormous prices. The Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer lets you feed the basic colors (Black, Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta) and it seems like it will never run out of ink no matter what you throw at it!
The second step of setup is through your operating system, and that is simply having it find the printer and the driver. And then a couple of small network steps and you are done! You have a printer with an endless supply (or what seems like it) of ink.
My neighbors saw it being delivered, and they aren't uber nerds: like myself, or even nerds. The next weekend their daughter was coming home from the service for a visit. They desperately wanted a "Welcome home" banner made but didn't have the $$$ to pay to have a "Big Box" store make and print one out. I've made a few in the past using (multiple) legal-sized sheets of paper. The Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 made the job so much simpler! We had a great time in my heated garage designing the perfect banner, then I had (we'll call her Jade) press print, and then Jade and her husbands' eyes lit up when my wife brought out the (almost fully constructed) banner. The colors were bright and vivid, the text crisp. And this giant banner (13 legal-sized sheets of paper IIRC) did not even put a dent in the ink supply. Before, I would be having a stroke wondering "how much blue, or how much black this is using".
Those fears are gone forever with the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - White. The fact that it is ALSO a copier is icing on the cake as my neighbor needed a copy of her daughter's birth certificate. Cut out, you can not tell which one is which; that is how great the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 is! Keep in mind I'm not advocating using this printer for dubious purposes (you will get caught, and you will go to jail) I'm just pointing out the print quality. And when I think about it, I think it was set on just "normal" as well!
Unfortunately not having a "regular" phone line I was not able to test out the fax feature. But if it's like everything else - it's great!
To sum it up, Canon hit it out of the ballpark with the MAXIFY MegaTank GX4020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - White. This will be an upgrade from any printer you're using today!
Hit up a local best buy or order on the website! It's worth it!

TLDR: Finally a camera that doesn't suck you into a subscription service!
Yes! You heard correct, even though the Swann - CoreCam Pro Single Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K 32GB Micro SD Card & Secure Cloud Storage Security Camera with Spotlight DOES have a paid cloud subscription service, it is not a necessity. You can opt for the included 32GB micro SDHC card, or get one as high as 128GB!
The Swann - CoreCam Pro Single Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K 32GB Micro SD Card & Secure Cloud Storage Security Camera with Spotlight is very easy to mount, as most will either be mounting it to wood, drywall, or siding. Just use the provided screws and you are golden! If you are a hardcore DIY'r you can also mount to brick surfaces but that would take getting out the drill and all the fun THAT entails (end sarcasm); but it CAN be done!!
The light on the Swann - CoreCam Pro Single Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K 32GB Micro SD Card & Secure Cloud Storage Security Camera with Spotlight is plenty bright for my usage, which is in an indoor stairwell. However, at night, there should be nobody in there - so lights out. One night I had to run upstairs real quick, and 100% relied on the motion detection so the spotlight would turn on (and then back off) and the same when I came back down. When I say it is bright. It is enough to make you feel secure in your surroundings whether they are something along the lines of my use-case or in a more traditional security setup. Yes, the light will have any burglar pee their pants once illuminated, as they will know they have just been caught on camera in full detail!
And full detail is what the Swann - CoreCam Pro Single Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K 32GB Micro SD Card & Secure Cloud Storage Security Camera with Spotlight provides in picture quality. No, it's not 4k. But most 4k systems aren't completely wireless either! Video and captures for me were very vivid. The one downside is the audio sounds a bit muffled but that may be due to my install location (almost in a corner). Swann promises on average about 3 months per battery charge, and the idea of juicing it up only 4 times a year sounds great!
The app is very "average" to put it mildly. Hopefully after a little while, and more user input - Swann will turn it into a BEAST!! Finger touch input is a tad bit "laggy", and several sections are a bit user unfriendly at first. But then like everything else, you learn it and it is like you've been using it for years!
Swann has always produced quality hardware. And with the CoreCam Pro Single they don't disappoint!!
And the fact you will make an intruder "trickle" with the spotlight adds more brownie-points in my opinion!!
Head to your nearest Best Buy or grab one (or a few!) on the site!

Is that a stealth fighter jet on your desk? OF COURSE IT ISN'T! It is the latest and greatest in internet technology - the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AXE7300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router.
I love all things futuristic. and let me tell you, the design of the Nighthawk is all that and a bag of chips!
But of course we aren't here to hear someone describe what you can see in pictures. But, rather in what is so special with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AXE7300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router compared to the rest of the routers on the market.
First off. this is the first time I've see a 6e band router. Maybe I've been under a rock for a while. But the Tri-band is a major selling point as it is future proof, and also works with devices using 2.4 and 5 ghz bands.
Setup was simple once I rebooted my original modem (make sure to do this) and then it was literally off to the races!
Previously using a nest system, this router claims to cover 2500sq ft which is right around what the house is. I was skeptical at first.
Yes, skeptical. That a signal could go from my upstairs office where my modem is, reach my sunroom where me and my tablets/laptops hang out during downtime, and most importantly to the master bedroom where my wife has her streaming devices/laptop/tablet setup.
The NETGEAR - Nighthawk AXE7300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router quickly erased any skepticism I had. It reached every nook and cranny of my house with no issue with full speed. Something that my nest system *barely* did when all devices were running at once.
Now, something that I think is a wonderful touch is the addition of the USB-C port. This basically turns any usb-c storage device into a wireless storage device - vis - your nighthawk into a NAS! I Just have to find my USB A ---> C adapter and see if my 12 port USB thing-a-ma-bobber will let me connect a BUNCH of storage to it *EVIL LAUGH*.
All craziness aside, if you want to future-proof your internet and Wifi you can't go wrong with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AXE7300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router. Plus it looks like a Stealth Fighter Jet. And that's pretty darn cool in my book.

Almost feels better than a bank vault lock!

TLDR: I will be gushing about a door-lock. Yes, a piece of technology refined over the decades, time and time again. Eufy gets it right. Eufy gets it more than right. Eufy sets a new standard!
The Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock is one of those items you didn't know you needed until you have it.
I have a rather interesting use case, most people are either using these on their front doors or their shop/store doors. With family members that live close by, and with the ever increasing threat of crime I decided to install the Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock on my interior door that leads to the garage. This also gives me a unique second doorbell. Thankfully the original homeowners had the door built with a steel core, same as front doors, so I felt like I wasn't "wasting" the product/technology on the door.
The Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock install was a breeze. At first (before I even opened the box" I felt intimidated due to all of the functions and thought there would be a million pieces.
My fears that the Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock would take all day to install were quickly diminished the moment I opened the box and examined the components. They are hardcore, meaning I could see a hammer doing NO damage. The components are solid. No "toy" plastic.
Installation was a breeze, and I dare say fun - as taking the old deadbolt off the door revealed hidden treasure. YMMV, as I doubt your previous homeowners (if you didn't have your own house built) were as *cough* eclectic as mine.

I LOVE the fact that my wife, myself, and my in-laws (*GRUMBLE*) now have multiple ways to enter the garage entryway. I personally have my thumb scanned, an 8 number pin, and the "ITEOTW" standard key if all else fails.
Onto one of my most favorite parts of the lock - the camera and the app. No more surprise visits. Even if they do have a key code.. grumble.... The Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock works perfectly for me as it is always daytime in my garage all the time (light on 24/7) so I can not comment on the low-light picture quality.
With the light situation in mind I do not even have it set to 2k, as I feel that will drain the battery faster. And even at the lowest quality I can get a pretty good image - though I tend to keep it higher than that.
Another reviewer mentioned that after installing and using this lock, they are now thinking of changing all their important/exterior locks to the Eufy Security - S330 Video Smart Lock. I am in the same boat. Even though I have a "smart doorbell" on the front-door that has a paid for subscription (EUFY IS FREEEEE!) I can see the Eufy replacing it as it is the Swiss army knife if you will.
I even told my wife I want to put one on my upstairs office door. That didn't get a warm reception from her.
I feel confident and secure in my home with this lock. You will too. And once you experience the less than one second thumb-scan unlock and no longer have to fight with traditional (binary?) keys - you'll never go back and you'll want to do exactly what the previously mentioned reviewer and myself wish to do.
This might be a few extra bucks more than the others. But it is worth the peace of mind and the ease of entering (especially when your hands are full of shopping bags!).
Eufy ROCKS with this lock/cam combo. Pick it up at your local Best Buy or order it here on the website. You won't be sorry (other than you'll. again, want to switch all your locks to the Eufy!)

I wasn't expecting much from the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work Portable Projector because of my previous experience with projectors in general. They are usually hard to setup, hard to tinker with and hard to get the picture "just right".
The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work Portable Projector on the other hand was very easy to connect to my laptop (HDMI) and I already have a Bluetooth connected HiFi system for sound so I wasn't bothered too much by the onboard (one speaker) sound.
Lets be honest, for "home entertainment" one speaker isn't going to cut it, and that is why I knocked one star off the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work Portable Projector. For business use such as presentations I could see the one speaker being practical. It IS loud enough to fill any small to moderate sized meeting space with ease. So no problems there.
But it is not the sound that is the star of the show, but the picture. And boy, the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work Portable Projector does not disappoint. It has built in settings which are more than adequate to get the job done.
Yes you can make the image 300" - but I don't see many using such a small form factor (the projector itself is the length and width of a piece of paper and relatively light) projector being utilized in such a way. I see it being used for streaming, gaming, or in my case nerding out.
After watching a few of my favorite movies on the "Big Screen" once again thanks to Epson, i have it connected to a spare laptop that runs Linux, and I have the projector in a custom cradle *cough* old magazine rack so it displays the HTOP information of my dedicated servers on my home office ceiling! See! I told you I was nerding out!
The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work Portable Projector is extremely versatile, has a crisp picture, and most importantly lets your inner nerd come to life!

Either with an HDMI cable or a Display Port cable. There are ports on the back of the PC.

I have Apple tv 4th Gen which is NOT a 4K device. I just bought this tv which replaced my old HDTV. I do not see any difference in picture quality (from my old tv as compared with this Sharp 4K tv). Is this because of the fact my apple tv is not 4K?

You can't get 4k resolution from devices that don't output 4k.

I have been reading the comments by other customers. I just picked up the tv & found out this thing doesn’t have a web browser. How do I download one if that is possible??
You can download the web browser via the TV's included app store. I just did the other day. It's pretty cool as it renders the sites exactly (and as quickly) as a browser on a laptop.

Do NOT buy this SHARP I got one in Nov and it glitched a lot one day my 5 year old was watching and it froze She taped the screen with the remote and the screen cracked Sharp doesn't make replacement screens Best buy protection won't cover it i'm screwed

Pretty sure best buy protection wouldn't cover intentional damage like this for any item. To say this is an issue with the Sharp brand is quite the stretch.

Yes, if it can be installed on another windows 10 device, it can be installed here. You will need to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter as there are no "regular" usb ports. Just usb-c.

Storage is expandable. This tablet is a fail? Far from it. I'm enjoying mine. Sadly it is already back-ordered on most sites. So perhaps this is just a case of sour-grapes on your part, or you are a MaC fan, OR you just couldn't afford this and had nothing positive to contribute. For everyone else, this tablet is AWESOME. It has handled everything I've thrown at it within reason. Obviously it's not meant to play games in full frame rate - but everything else - YEP!
