Great projector for the price

We are using this for a home theater.The colors on this projector are fantastic. Brightness is very good for a room that is not darkened.Was easy to set up.Fan noise is a little louder than i would have liked, but nothing overwhelming. All in all, a good choice.

Can you use this in replacement of a normal TV for daily use? How is it in lighted rooms?
We use it for our main TV. It is mounted on the ceiling and projects onto a white painted wall.(Sherwin Williams Screen paint)
We play it through a receiver with surround sound speakers and sub woofer. It does very well and it is bright so you do not need a completely dark room.
