This is a cable and there is not much one can say about it. I use it in my car to project the phone screen on the car's information screen via Android Auto. I had the same cover for my Note 5 and was very glad to find one for the S8+. It covers the back and the screen. Incoming calls and messages are visible without opening the cover and the calls can be accepted or rejected without opening the cover by swiping on the cover. Flipping the cover open, wakes up the phone. It does not add bulk to the phone. I can use the cover as a mirror and I am often told what a good looking phone I have. .

A team of two technicians performed a site survey a few days before the installation to check out my home theater set up and recommend any new equipment or cables required. I purchased the recommended cables from my local Best Buy store ahead of time. Two technicians arrived as scheduled and mounted the TV. The mount included in wall cables. The crew installed the apps for the TV services I subscribed, activated them and set up everything as desired. They removed all packaging and cleaned up after themselves. Good sound, does not block background noise

I purchased these to replace Sony active noise cancelling headphones which are not wireless. and do not have the capability for answering phones. I used the headphones at the gym to listen to audio books whilre working out and found it difficult to understand words at noisier sections of the gym. I purchased the Beats headphones when they were the deal of the day. Their noise blocking feature is slightly better,. The sound of the Beats is much better and I can understand words in spite of the background noise. Sound for phone calls is clear. The next step up for noise cancelling is the Bose, which cost a lot more. The Beats Solo 2 meet my objectives of listening to books while working out and answering calls. I use them while gardening and working around the house. Without background noise, they are very good. .

TV Fire Stick is slightly bigger than a thumb and attached easily to the TV's HDMI port. It is powered directly by electrical port. Set up was easy. There are a bunch of Apps one can down load from the cloud, such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, HGTV, Food Network, PBS and many more. PBS shows are not available on cable's On Demand function, so the only way I could view them after they aired are on my computer. With the Fire Stick, I can watch PBS shows within a day or two after airing, provided one has a PBS membership. Same is true of HGTV, Food Network and other channels. The stick checks with your cable provider if you have a subscription for that channel. Sling TV App subscription lets you watch many channels and get rid of cable.

The Samsung Gear fit does a lot more than I thought it would, in conjunction with the S Fit app on my Samsung phone. The watch can measures steps taken, distance walked, active time, heart rate, quality of sleep and time slept. It communicates with the phone and sends notification for incoming calls, messages and alerts from supporting apps. It cannot receive calls or texts, but has the ability to respond via pre determined messages programmed into S Fit.
It can track exercises like walking, running, hiking and cycling. By communicating with the phone, I get reports of distance, pace, elevation etc. I am a hiker and wanted the capability of tracking weather. Supporting apps for Gear Fit weather give temperature, humidity, pressure, weather conditions and forecast. It has options for displaying time in two time zones, or time and temperature.
I was a bit concerned with the fact that the watch was refurbished. Best Buy assured me it came with 30 days Geek Squad warranty and one year Samsung warranty. The first watch I had stopped writing sleep data to the phone. Best Buy was very good about taking it back and replacing it with another refurbished watch. The replacement watch is working fine. .

Great performance

This product replaced E3000 router, which required resetting too many times for connecting devices. After multiple visits from Geek squad and cable company (upgraded my modem and tightened cable connections), it was suggested that I switch to this Netgear router. I was connecting two computers, 3 tablets, one bd player, Sonos bridge, solar system monitor, external hard drive, two printers and adding cloud storage. Switching to a more powerful router should resolve the connection problems.
Geek squad set up my router, I tested every device and they all worked. But after an hour, the drvices started dropping. The situation was worse than before. I contacted Netgear support, first time in the evening,changed some settings, but the problem did not go away. My next call was around 8:30 am, but could reach tech support. All I got was a recording. I called after 9 and finally reached another human being. She connected me to her suprrvisor who walked me through changing a few router settings, upgrading the firmware, changing router name. Finally everything worked. Signal was stronger all over the house . I was one happy camper. I had to change ssid on all devices, but it was easy. Later I discovered that my printers were not connecting. Will contact tech support to solve that problem.

Magnified on my pc screen it looks to me like it is a HDMI male shaped connection (protruding from this device) Why is it adtertized as USB? A USB is always RECTANGULAR w/plastic rectangular plate inside the connector pin opening. This can not be a USB.
The USB port on the Fire stick is for the cable to connect to the electrical outlet. Connection for TV is HDMI.

If I have a smart TV (already has apps on it and wireless wifi, of course), and I have Amazon Prime, what more can this fire stick do? Does it only add voice command? Can I get movies I can't find on Amazon Prime?
I do not have a smart TV, but have a Sony Blueray player with apps for netflix etc. PBS app is not available on blueray, so for me the stick has a benefit. You probably have to check what additional apps the stick has to see if it of value to you. I have the basic Fire Stck, not the one with voice remote. Amazon Fire TV app for Android has voice function which negates the need to purchase voice remote.. .

I've heard that the Sony portable speakers sound loud and great when plugged in to a wall outlet but when using only the battery the actual wattage used drops considerably,resulting in a weaker,less loud sounding speaker.Is this true?
I did not notice any difference is sound when unplugged. Volume and crispness is the same whether plugged or unplugged.
