Not worth it due to software changes

As the Director of IT for a large medical company, my familiarity with these products is quite extensive. I decided to give Neat a try given their success with other commercial companies but was extremely disappointed to see that they have discontinued support for all local scanning software. This means that users will now only receive support if they use the Cloud version of the software which I find to be concerning. My company scans files that must remain HIPAA compliant and encrypted throughout the process. We have dedicated servers that store our documents and we scan directly to these servers. Using the desktop software from NEAT we were able to do this but being that they are no longer supporting it, the default is to now scan to the "Cloud".
More disturbing that this is that they will start charging for it. Sure you can manually tell the system to scan to a local folder but this is not a feature that is saved. You must set this each time you scan. Furthermore, the Cloud software does not recognize shared drives like the desktop software therefor it is useless.
Cloud is great but not when their cannot get their act together. Oh, and if you attempt to call them, unless you are paying for support, you cannot talk to anyone. So that 30 day free trial is worthless. I created two support tickets and never heard from anyone. Today is day 25..I just returned three of these back to Best Buy!

DJI made this one with mistakes...

So to all of you DJI fans...like myself, I was eager to get this new drone. I flew it...liked it for the most part...but...
That darn gimbal broke. And let me tell you, it didn't take a crash to break..it didn't take a fall or drop..it broke on its own. And...well, as fate would have it..you have to send it in and then see if they will warranty it. Complete waste of time so I sent it back to Best Buy for a refund.
If you are thinking about getting this drone you need to go and spend some time preparing for the common problems that others are having due to poor engineering.
The Gimbal is the #1 problem. The cable breaks..the frame breaks, the darn camera just spins..etc...
Outside of this problem..which is major, it is a good drone but I prefer the Phantom Series and if you are doing 3D pics like me, the Mavic Pro has issues.
For the record my inventory of drones is 2 Mavic Pros, 2 P4 Pro's, 1 P3 Pro, 2 P3 Standard, GoPro Karma, BeBop2, 3DR Solo, and my own that I prefabricate using my MarkForged Machines.

So I got the solo because of the sale and enjoyed it for about 11 mins. That about how long I got out of the battery. That sucks. For this kind of money the batter should last longer. I went on the internet and noticed that other people were getting about that much time out of theirs and that was without flying crazy. Pass on this.

How high can this drone go?
Theoretically the drone can travel a distance of thousands of feet from you...but by law..the FAA limits your altitude to 400ft.

smudging
Is there any paper or printer you can use to avoid inkjet printer smudging? Or do you need to use a laser printer which will not print photos?
i know this is an old question but the fact of the matter is, ink jets will run pretty much no matter what. You can use photo paper / glossy paper to print on but at the end of the day, when you do a cost analysis, it is just better to get a color laster printer.
