Great Cable modem WIFI Router

Fast dual bands WIFI router.
Stronger Signal compare to my older Motorola Arris router.
Cover my basement, first floor and second floor on a 3500 sq ft house.
Dual bands enable dividing your bandwidth between 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz
That way if you have lots of device you can distribute them between the 2,4 or 5 GHz band and not let 1 band clogged with traffic and slow down.
The 5 GHz band in my case has less traffic and interference and thus faster.
I have a Blu Ray player that is connected via Cat 5 cable to the router.
This make the Netflix and internet streaming Blazing fast and not using up the Wifi traffic bandwidth
Setting up is incredible fast and easy.
Remember to change your Admin password. because the factory admin password is "password"
anyone given the wifi access can log to 168.1....... address and take over your router .
I recommend buying this router over other cheaper older Modem Wifi Router.

Do you need to connect to laptop for set up?
I have a Samsung Chrome book, would I be able to just plug in and be set?
You have to set the password for the wifi
Because the factory password is very long and cumbersome .
factory password is printed under the router.
also you need to change the admin password from the default "password"
to something else. i recommend something easy to remember or some string of number or letter that is printed on the router or your phone number in reverse .
That way you will never lose it
you also want do disable the guest mode (default off i think)
so nobody is sucking of your internet
it take about 30 min to set the router up
